Freedom of speech is covered under the freedom of expression as you have been shown...if your entire agreement was it defined as freedom of speech no it was not. it was defined in the fine print in freedom of expression...And it is semantics, and your making a play on words...speech is protected here in Canada...and parks Canada can not override any of our freedoms....at any time, as it is a public domain...They were concerned about protesting groups and the safety of others because snowflakes can't stand the power of words...Snowflakes have control of the conversation, they have done so with many speakers or events from the US even Canada...this is another example....

It is not semantics, it is just worded differently....Expression is defined as ANY activity or communication ....the second red quote explains it even further it protects speakers and listeners....in order to protect speakers one must have "speech" 1. Does the activity in question have expressive content, thereby bringing it within section 2(b) protection? Expression protected by section 2(b) has been defined as “any activity or communication that conveys or attempts to convey meaning” (Thomson Newspapers Co., supra; Irwin Toy Ltd., supra). The courts have applied the principle of content neutrality in defining the scope of section 2(b), such that the content of expression, no matter how offensive, unpopular or disturbing, cannot deprive it of section 2(b) protection (Keegstra, supra). Being content-neutral, the Charter also protects the expression of both truths and falsehoods Freedom of expression includes more than the right to express beliefs and opinions. It protects both speakers and listeners (Edmonton Journal v. Alberta (Attorney General), [1989] 2 S.C.R. 1326). “Expression” may include all phases of the communication, expressing oneself in the language of choice (in order to do that you must have speech or sign language) https://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/csj-sjc/rfc-dlc/ccrf-ccdl/check/art2b.html Protected expression has been found to include: “music, art, dance, postering, physical movements, marching with banners, etc.” (Weisfeld v. Canada, [1995] 1 F.C. 68 (F.C.A.), CanLII - 1994 CanLII 9276 (FCA) at paragraph 30 (F.C.A.); commercial advertising (R. v. Guignard, [2002] 1 S.C.R. 472; Ford, supra; Irwin Toy Ltd., supra; Rocket, supra; Ramsden v. Peterborough (City), [1993] 2 S.C.R. 1084; RJR-MacDonald Inc. v. Canada (Attorney General), [1995] 3 S.C.R. 199; JTI-Macdonald Corp., supra); posters on utility poles (Ramsden, supra); peace camps (Weisfeld (F.C.A.), supra); signs and billboards (Guignard, supra; Vann Niagara Ltd. v. Oakville (Town), [2003] 3 S.C.R. 158); picketing (R.W.D.S.U., Local 558 v. Pepsi-Cola Canada Beverages, [2002] 1 S.C.R. 156; Dolphin Delivery Ltd. v. R.W.D.S.U. Local 580, [1986] 2 S.C.R. 573; B.C.G.E.U v. British Columbia (Attorney General), [1988] 2 S.C.R. 214; Dieleman v. Attorney General of Ontario (1994), 20 O.R. (3d) 229 (Ont. Gen. Div.); Morasse v. Nadeau-Dubois; 2016 SCC 44); handing out leaflets (U.F.C.W, Local 1518 v. Kmart Canada Ltd., [1999] 2 S.C.R. 1083; Allsco Building Products Ltd. v. U.F.C.W. Local 1288 P, [1999] 2 S.C.R. 1136); ******(expressing oneself in the language of choice (Ford, supra);)****** hate speech (Keegstra, supra; R. v. Zundel, supra; Saskatchewan (Human Rights Commission) v. Whatcott, 2013 SCC 11, [2013] 1 S.C.R. 467; Ross v. New Brunswick School Board (No. 15), [1996] 1 S.C.R. 825; Taylor v. Canada (Human Rights Commission), [1990] 3 S.C.R. 892); pornography (R. v. Butler, [1992] 1 S.C.R. 452; Little Sisters Book and Art Emporium v. Canada (Minister of Justice), [2000] 2 S.C.R. 1120); child pornography (Sharpe, supra; R v. Barabash, 2015 SCC 29); communication for the purpose of prostitution (Reference re: section 193 and paragraph 195.1(1)(c) of the Criminal Code (Manitoba),[1990] 1 S.C.R. 1123); noise being emitted by a loudspeaker from inside a club onto the street (Montréal (City), supra, at paragraph 58); importation of literature or pictorial material (Little Sisters, supra); defamatory libel (R. v. Lucas, supra at paragraph 25-27); voting (Siemens v. Manitoba (Attorney General), [2003] 1 S.C.R. 6 at paragraph 41; Haig v. Canada, [1993] 2 S.C.R. 995); running as a candidate for election (Baier v. Alberta, [2007] 2 S.C.R. 673); spending in election and referendum campaigns (Harper, supra; Libman v. Quebec (Attorney General), [1997] 3 S.C.R. 569; B.C. Freedom of Information and Privacy Association v. British Columbia (Attorney General), 2017 SCC 6); broadcasting of election results (R. v. Bryan, [2007] 1 S.C.R. 527); engaging in work for a political party or candidate (Osborne v. Canada (Treasury Board), [1991] 2 S.C.R. 69); publication of polling information and opinion surveys (Thomson Newspapers Co., supra); monetary contributions to a fund may constitute expression, for example, donations to a candidate or political party in the electoral context (Osborne, supra), though not where the expenditure of funds would be regarded as the expressive conduct of the union as a corporate entity (Lavigne v. Ontario Public Service Employees Union, [1991] 2 S.C.R. 211) and political advertising on public transit vehicles (

Yes it is....it is found in the first part of the constitution....you should read the source it explains it in english...and it is quite clear... yes it came from wiki....if you read the source it also includes other sources other than wiki that you can check as well....this is basic junior high stuff, instead of you denying my links perhaps you can provide one that proves me wrong...

bombing hospital becasue hamas uses them as shelter and places to store ammo and weapons....The Geneva convention is very clear on this, but then again what does the UN know about anything that is not Terrorist propaganda....you and many other on here are very gullible... Killing children happens in all wars, it is tragic, but women and children and the elderly pay the highest price in every conflict....starving the entire population ! they maybe hungry but starving is a little bit dramatic...I was in Somalia those people were starving....seen pictures of NAZI death camps those people where starving...Gaza well they are just hungry

Freedom of expression is in the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms which is entrenched into the constitution of Canada..which forms the first part of the constitution act of 1982 ...And yes i was in the Canadian military, are you sure your Canadian, you seem very un Canadian... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_Act,_1982 Rights and freedoms The rights and freedoms enshrined in 34 sections of the Charter include: Fundamental freedoms Section 2 lists what the Charter calls "fundamental freedoms" namely freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, freedom of thought, freedom of belief, freedom of expression, freedom of the press and of other media of communication, freedom of peaceful assembly, and freedom of association. In case law, this clause is cited as the reason for the religious neutrality of the state. Freedom of speech is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction. The right to freedom of expression has been recognised as a human right in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international human rights law.

Sure...if you can sleep better at night then go for it...most of the forum, judges you the same way, nothing more than slanted opinions it is who you are....it is what the left does, screams with their hair on fire until people agree with you...it is like mckenna said yell it loud enough and long enough and people will believe you...of course she was hammered when she said it, but the liberals live and breath it...

not sure why i'm bothering...you have posted to many topics about Israel in the past, be it if you where addressed or not... That is your quote below right...unless there is another flyer...So you did post it... 100 % right it is about the which countries came into being from the french madidate and british mandate, it is funny that all those you mentioned were where created by the league of nations and the UN, and did not exist before that... Of course your not going to argue becasue your wrong...the source i gave you proves that....

Premier EBY states BC is being treated unfairly by the feds when announcing a campaign promise to lower bridge tools from NB to PEI and ferry tickets from NS to NFLD. He also states that BC contributes bils of dollars to Quebec and manitoba, but one billion to Ontario. He is concerned about Carney giving 20 dollar discounts for the bridge, and a few hundred for the ferry crossing. BC must be hurting if they are complaining about a few discounts, or maybe they just like whining about not be included in a small hand out... funny i did not hear the NB/ NS or NLFD premiers whine about the millions BC has received for hydro projects or Natural gas plants and pipelines.. Eby calls for 'fair treatment' for ferry users in B.C. after Ottawa cuts fares in Eastern Canada | CBC News

So your saying freedom of speech only gets applied in public spaces, and is restricted in parks....you should read the constitution and the freedom of speech para....no where does it say anyone has to agree to your parks rules as long as they obey the freedom of speech rules written into the constitution....those rules apply to every where in Canada...unless it is a private property...did those palestinian protesters get permits to protest outside of the church....do they share the same regards for the rules as you listed for your parks...last time i heard palestinians in Gaza were throwing LGBTQ people off roofs to see if they could fly....sounds like double standard to me...

Not the UN but the league of nations, and yes they did create Jordan, then transjordan, Syria, Lebanon who did not exist before then as nations, and many more middle eastern countries are on that list as well ....and the state of palestine which was under british control where both arab and Jew co existed and still does today....there is no state of palestine until 2025....I thought you said you read the history.... There are hundreds of posts with your name attached to it, on these very topics...so you do care or you would not have responded...most if not all you support palestinians, lead by terrorists... You said you Iran could nuke could nuke the entire area and it would not be missed, and i replied Iran would not be nuking anyone thanks to the US air Force. I did not imply you said iran would nuke Israel just pointing out they aren't capable of nuking anyone this year... The League of Nations mandate granted the French Mandate for Syria and the Lebanon, the British Mandate for Mesopotamia (later Iraq) and the British Mandate for Palestine, later divided into Mandatory Palestine and the Emirate of Transjordan (1921–1946). The Ottoman Empire's possessions in the Arabian Peninsula became the Kingdom of Hejaz, which the Sultanate of Nejd (today Saudi Arabia) was allowed to annex, and the Mutawakkilite Kingdom of Yemen. The Empire's possessions on the western shores of the Persian Gulf were variously annexed by Saudi Arabia (al-Ahsa and Qatif), or remained British protectorates (Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar) and became the Arab States of the Persian Gulf. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_foreign_policy_in_the_Middle_East

Another guy who has not bothered to read the history behind Israel and the friction middle eastern nations have caused. Who thrusted Israel upon the world ?, and why do we just insist on pointing out just israel in this creation....the same organization also created most of the middle east is there a problem with those nations...nope just the jewish one....lets brush aside all the Muslim countries acts, and concentrate on the jewish acts. Yes you do, you have posted hundreds of times on this very topic, funny for guy who says he doesn't care...Iran won't be nuking anyone this year...thanks to the American Air Force...

Live in it, is not enough, we have terrorist, mafia , gangs, all living here in Canada ,all of them claiming to be citizens of Canada but none of them have contributed anything meaningful to the nation. None of them have the right to call anyone traitors. The left are responsible for most of the condition of our country right now, under their leadership, direction we have seen a drastic decline in almost everything, including our moral values...So once again sit down and relax you have done enough. Freedom of speech comes in many forms, those freedoms are laid out in our constitution, and protected from misuse by our courts, not some guy on a forum screaming everyone is traitor because they hurt your feelings.. don't like what your hearing change the channel or here is a new radical idea, just don't go to these events, and your feelings will be intact in the morning...

Didn't think i would be saying anything good about the air force, but here it is, He was not my favorite CDS, but he did accept the position and did what he could for those serving, what we don't know is what he had to sacrifice while CDS.......thats needs to be recognized... I think we all know just how much power our politicians have here, CDS is a public service servant, and does what he is told. thats drilled into every service person, mission first , and obey all legal orders, I think like any promotion or position you do what you can to make little improvements to the service... In the CDS case he would have been told what his job was and what was the arcs of fire, or what he could do and could not do, and i think the could not do was a much longer list...

All you got is opinions, nothing more, you rarely provide sources,or proof of any sort and not real sure what you contribute to the forum except adding to the pages upon pages of trolling....at least Fox provides sources, and makes valuable contributions, when was the last time you started a topic... Your only here to ambush people and troll...it's what you do...you and half of the other leftist on here...keep up the good work....i just wish that the rest of us did not have to scroll through wasted pages of you, exflyer trolling everyone you don't agree with...

Army Guy replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Of course there is this comparison, 6 years for killing their son....i wonder how long they practice the crying routine....So ya i can see where the need for more than 7 years....i mean they did keep people up all night, must have been terrible, maybe reparations would be in order...Maybe , and i say this with a big maybe this country should have some more common sense than a rapid squirrel gives while chasing a walnut, when it comes to justice system in this country.... Crown seeking 7 years for Tamara Lich
Army Guy replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I was pointing out that OKA was much more violent than the convoy ever was , and required much more resources spent on it than the convoy we should expect a much lighter sentence, but i get it lefties are crying for blood much like you.......What they should be looking at is a slap on the wrist....our government has already punished these people with enough BS -

Army Guy replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
