Not going to work for our man Keng, see he's much to homophobic for that...he's going to have to go beyond the hand numbing trick....maybe shave it , dress it up with some lipstick and a tutu...

I think that is part of the problem skippy, you don't have respect for anything, your a bitter old man that is in search of some attention, unhappy because while you've been sitting in your house alone, the world has passed you by, so longing for yesteryear is all you have left.... You've yet answered any of the questions i've asked you....What type of experiance do you bring to the table, Have you been to Afganistan ?, you've talked to the locals here ? you've read the intel that the locals have given us ? you have a back ground or some sort of expertize in military affairs or intel ? or is all this just an uninformed uneducated guess on your part .... I din't contradict myself, spewing things out your ass is not doing something about your conviction, so what is it that you are doing.... Good one....a person with your convictions does not enter a war zone, no sir, a person of your convictions does not have the balls to risk everything while carring out thier convictions....you are rather the type that sits at home, alone in the dark wishing, hoping that someone else does it for them.... your a complainer, a whinner, afraid of change, unwilling to except change....No when i look at the people surrounding me, i see people of action, people that have left the comforts of home to serve our country in a war zone....notjust the soldiers, diplomats, but those civilians working along side of us, be cutting hair, working at timmies....all share the same beliefs, and they don't come close to yours.... you gave some generic examples .....pretty easy to do, are we to take your word on it....Show us in print ,something that backs your augument up....according to you it should be easy.....I know the art of debate is foreign to you, but just give it a try....i mean you have already said i know jack shit, should be very easy to disprove anything i say....can't be all that hard, i'll i do is pull a few triggers right....

Actually your facts are a little screwed up. Yes operation Athena was in and around the Kabul area, from the dates you mentioned, but was moved to Kandahar in Aug 2005, and is still refered to as operation Athena...As you can see well before the election date of the CPC.... Op Athena. Operation Archer is a small tasking see below, consisted of 12 Srn officers. OP Archer The entire Afgan threater and all of it's missions fall under Jiont task force Afgan. joint task force

Yes very well said Rue....Thank you...

kengs333: What type of experiance do you bring to the table, Have you been to Afganistan ?, you've talked to the locals here ? you've read the intel that the locals have given us ? you have a back ground or some sort of expertize in military affairs or intel ? or is all this just an uninformed uneducated guess on your part .... You would not know the truth if it bit you in the ass....and you truely do not understand our mission here, and what our soldiers do in a course of a day....and yes we do pull a few triggers, we also perform construction of bridges, schools, hospitals, roads and hyways, we aslo perform mobile medical clinics, and treat thousands of Afgan civilians in our hospital, we perform mercy flights with our helos, drop tones of food, blankets and other aid to the afgan people, we mentor thier police, thier military, thier governmnet officals, we provide security to NGO outfits, Red Cross pers, we also rescue them when they are held captive....the list goes on and on... How could one spend 6 to 7 months living with the local population and not learn something about them, thier customs, thier, politics, thier wants and needs, how is that possiable.....how is it possiable that some guy sitting behind a computer all day, knows enough about any soldier to make false accusations'.... well lets just give you a small history leason, each unit that is involved in a battle, records every death, every wounding in thier Units diaries, thats right from the time of inception that units diary is a written record of everything that unit does, on top of that thier is a scroll it lists every name of every soldier that has died while serving with that unit....In Canada there is also the book of rememberance.....held in Ottawa also listing every Canadian that has died for thier country....most mounumnets also list all the local names of those that have died.... And took this tradition off the British....so i'm sure they could not only tell you one name but every name..... Just so we are clear, i'm guilty of not knowing every name of every Canadian soldier that has paid the ultimate price, few in this country do, but they will not be forgtten by me our others like me, thier deeds and sacrafices will not go unforgotten by thier comrads...And while that may not mean anything to you....it means everything to me... Thats not a conviction that is a hobby, if that....one can not believe in something as strongly as say risk your life for it...and then just sit back and do nothing.....hoping someone else solves it for you...thats is just plain dog lazy.... Nobody said you had to pick up a firearm, join the army, or anything else....there are thousands of ways and things you can do which do not involve violence, and has the same objective . But you have come on here shouting what you believe in and denoucing all others....when in fact all your doing is sitting on your ass, not doing a thing to further your cause....but then you got the balls to denouce those that had the guts, the courage, to take a stand....and do something about thier believes.... You sir , are the biggest kind of hypocrite there is....Do us all a favour stick your head back in the hole, and let those with some conviction dedate a topic they know something about.... Once again you have failed in knowing anything about your nations soldiers...pathic really, first rule of any confrontation is to know your enemy.....you've proven many times you know jack shit about anything military....I just curious how does or how did our nation become a world leader in peace keeping with all the above traits you said we had....But your all about the assumptions.... I did'nt ask if militaries in general did this.....you made an accusation, now back it up with some facts....given your list it should be very easy to do....give us a quote....or are you pulling this out your ass as well....keep it up and we'll have to change your log in to ASSMAN.... While i generally enjoy making you look like a idiot, you really are making it to easy....

Looked at the truth, i live with the truth everyday i'am over here. And for the 190 days i'm here i will spend most of that outside the wire, we talk to the locals everyday here, one can not help but be sumerged in the truth....But once again you've already cemented your opinon, and nothing i say or nothing the media prints will convince you otherwise...Looking into the past does not hold all the answers, So the british could not accomplish thier objectives in the 19 th century....they also thought that going to the moon was impossiable back then as well....different time different situation....but you can't see that because your opinon is clouded.... As for those men that died, they will be remembered....if not by people like you, then by people like me.... Hey skippy slow down read the post again, Sir Bandalot was suggesting he was one of 35 million people....i was likening him to terry fox not me....but it must really piss you off that i have the balls to do something about my conviction, my beliefs....I'm here because i believe in what i do and what we are doing....i did'nt have to be here for a 3 rd time....let me ask you what have you done for your convictions, or beliefs....have you joined a NGO....or are you still trying to work up the couage to pry yourself away from your computer... Really, you can honestly say that about our military, give us a quote on any matter that has inhibit peoples rights rather than protect them.... I really happy that it gives you such joy and pride that our military is in the shape it is today..... Actually i love my job i have thank you....been doing it for over 28 years....thinking about retiring soon, maybe take something else up, what is it that you said you done flourist, or hair stylist....OK maybe a bit to poffie for me but if your ok with that so be it.... actually i think your a lonely old man that needs some attention....you find it on the web, bashing some people only to get a reaction....so bash away....i mean you pay my wages, the least i can do is let you vent awhile.....Hey if you give me your address maybe we can write, maybe when this tour is over i can stop by have a few beers , or in your case maybe one of those fruity wine coolers.... and chat about new flower arrangements, or new hair do's....
-
Look this is my third tour here in Afgan, i've been doing this for sometime now, i pretty much cemented in my beliefs now, i think this is a noble mission, one in which our nation with so much to offer can really contribute something....to the people of Afgan, to accomplish something here where no other nation has lets say for a long time. give them peace to move foward on thier own.... I also know that you have cemented your ideals, which is good...it's one of the rights i stand up for everyday....but if you are going to take a stand then do so...grab onto to it by the balls, and squezze....History has shown us there are plenty of examples of things changing across the nation all started by one man....wonder how far cancer research would be today without the efforts of one man terry fox....and while we all may not be terry fox, never count yourself as 1 of 35 million....one of the countless numbers that have no say....A universty professor, in ottawa whom has the same vioce as you have, manged to get his piont heard, nation wide, in ref to Prisoner of war handling. If you not willing to do everything you can for your stand, then really it's not much of a stand, and you've lost already.....it was not that important to you....might as well support the mission and let me do my job....

Soldiers join for thousands of reasons, most will say they joined to defend our nation, to serve our nation, our queen , or to follow in the parents footsteps....or for the adventure.... During a war or crisies things such as Pipelines, dams, manufacture centers, airports, major hyways...all get protected, by military resources...without them it effects the military, but more importantly it effects the other sides civilian population....these are the people that will at one piont in the operation demand something be done be it stop the war, or escalate it further....it is the people that decide.... Did i join to protect a pipe line, NO i did not, but then again i doubt the soldiers that took Vimy joined to do that either,....it is one of the thousands of jobs soldiers do during a conflict....

It's a "what if" situation, one that has not happen yet, nor will it until the current situation in Afgan is solved. That being said I'll re ask the question .... "If it is such a problem perhaps you can give us some examples of our political leaders licking the hands of big business whom are abusing our military. You have said Canada is no different, then it should be easy to give us examples on how our past and present governments where influenced into sending troops over to afgan to support big bussiness. I like yourself believe it is the citizens of Canada that are responsable for our current military state and status, they are the mechanism put in place to ensure we are protected. That being the case i find it hard to believe, that you which made this claim of the citizens being responsable to protect our military,do not even know of the current state of our military. So me as a soldier are asking you why have you failed me.... Which runs contray to your statement earlier on, you are a citizen, and you have made this claim, so how serious do you take this responsiblity....I'm well aware of the leadership role and how it plays out in my daily life....the military leadership have told our government on serveral occasions we as a military fighting force were not ready for this role....they have on more occasions than i can count have told our government we are not equiped for the defense of Canada. We also know that the government takes it's cue of the people, the voters, and they place they funding wherwe it will provide the most votes...health care, education....to name a few...and hey i agree...but at some place in time we need to decide, do we make a major investment back into the military, at the cost of education and health care , or do we forget about our defense capbilites all together.... If our leaders are responsable then make them accountable....that is your responseablity as you claimed it. There are sides like it or not, from my prespective, as a soldier....i stand one one, and you on the other...and not because your anti war and i'm a hawk of sorts....but rather i support this mission because i think it is one of the few that don't have an agenda....there is no oil, but rather it's about people...and i'm not playing a game, but rather caught in the middle like a toy pupet....and the pupets are paying a cost with thier lives.... But that is what you've asked our nations soldiers to do....fight with half measures.... Canada's military Visit My Website Visit My Website Visit My Website Visit My Website There is so many sites i can not put them all here, all dealing with our nations current military state....i find it hard to believe that you have not heard of our problems be it with Subs, tanks, Herc's , sea kings, trucks, iltis jeeps, LUVW jeeps, uniforms, etc etc and a multude of other problems that are mentioned weekly in the media...and that is just equipment side. So excuse me if i'm sceptical when you comment you have not heard anything....And you've claimed to be our protector....

There is money to be made with any venture, money is one of the key driving elements in everthing we do...But just how much money do you think Canada is going to reap in this war, I mean our military industry is very small, compared to other countries and i doubt very much that there is as much profit in it as you suggest...So please answer the Question..... "If it is such a problem perhaps you can give us some examples of our political leaders licking the hands of big business whom are abusing our military." Your example of the pipeleine is a poor one, How can you draw a link between the war in Afgan and energy needs of India and pakistan...Are you saying that the war is the reason this pipeline is being built....Construction on this pipeline within Afgan has not even started yet...and won't until the Taliban are destroyed, or a some kind of peace agreement is signed. This reporter is making alot of guesses.... Just so i'm clear, just how well do you think the citizens are doing in protecting them from this abuse of power. Is it having any effect?" Not true, every Canadian supports thier troops....ask any of them...the answer will always be "Yes i support me troops" whether they do or not out of fear of being labeled something ugly....Stop selling Canadians short, they know of the issue, they may not know the entire topic but they know enough to take action.... Which really leaves just one other option, there are those that support the mission, and there are those that don't and really don't give a shit what happens..... to the mission or the troops..... I say bullshit, the majority of Canadians could not wait to sign up for Afgan and get out of the whole Iraqi question and problems...Check the media clips of the time....Check out the polls of the time....a Majority of Canadians did in fact support this was in Afgan.... Not true at all, our orginal mission in Afgan was in the same area in which we are fighting in today, we where under US command, in combat operations to rout out Taliban in the mountains....Can't get more aggressive than that....it was not until much later that we where reassigned to the kabul area.... WHOA, not government neglect, NEGLECT of Canadian citizens....was it not you that said it was YOUR responsiablity to ensure that our soldiers are not abused or neglected....This has been reported over and over for the last 20 years, our forces are rusting out....you've read it we all have, each Canadian knows it, and knowing that very fact we have not connected the dots, rusted out military, and combat....we as a nation have sent our troops into combat with rusted out equipment or in some cases without the equipment needed period....so you have failed to protect us from anything....From a soldiers view piont it suggests that the majority does not support them at all.... Your side have been very good at swaying the majority of people who once agreed and supported the mission, but that is not where it should stop, although i disagree with your views. If it is your intention of actually doing what you think is best for our nation, and our soldiers then the now majority should be demanding the return of our soldiers ASAP. It should be thier main objective, and it should be the main objective of the government to atleast convince the people of thier argument as well. Right now it places our soldiers at a disadvantage in a war, that they have no control over, and are not recieving the resources that could have turned this around. Pulling out is not the answer either, we as a nation have not done this in the past, nor should we do it now, NATO organization is at a fragile state this mission failure could find the major players rethinking those defensive agreements, finding new partners, ...we as a nation really needs to be with the "in" crowd , as we don't put alot of resources or thought into our defense, or military...not only for defense, but internally as well, such as diasater response plans, floods etc etc...so we need a strong military as a partner. Our pulling out is not going to look good to our allieds when they have been asked to step up to the plate with more troops.....

If it is such a problem perhaps you can give us some examples of our political leaders licking the hands of big business whom are abusing our military....in say the last 40 years... Just so i'm clear, just how well do you think the citizens are doing in protecting them from this abuse of power. Is it having any effect? I agree with you.... you have all the freedom and rights to do just that, voice away....but i'd also like to remind you that every action has a reaction, and you must be prepared to answer for those actions.... For example, Most Canadians have made it very clear, they no longer support the Afgan mission, which also has it reaction, polictical leaders take thier cue off this info, Now as a result funding is hard to come by, be it for anything....What most Canadians have forgotten are thier soldiers, whom they had no problems waving goodbye to at the start of the mission, they are still caught in the middle....with no funding for the mission, it makes things extraordinary hard to accomplish on the ground, meaning our soldiers are paying for your actions...not the politions...but our very own soldiers... And when your on the other end of the stick, on the soldiers side, it does not not like support to our troops....your working again'st us...your putting our lifes in danger to make a piont that that accomplishes nothing.... Want to support us, want to hold our political masters accountable then finish what you started...

Is it just me or does anyone see a pattern here....

I know, i took it hook line and sinker....Perhaps you can provide some examples of this questionable moral fibre, maybe throw in some of those questionable intellectual character flaws you have said that run rampant in our forces today. Or did you just pull this out of your ass,.... just your opinion, ....or do you have some poll to quote....I don't think we've been introduced, I'm currently in Afgan serving with our questionable moral and intellectual forces, currently surrounded by 8 of my section mates, yes don't worry they all are morally and intellectually bankrupt as well...none the less we would all be very interested in how you pull such a big idea out of your tight ass. Forgive me if some of us sound pissed off, we get that way when some condescending prick can make a blanket statement as he or she does. All the while living the dream made possiable by yesterdays and todays soldiers. But then again this is normally how the peace nik radicals start thier attacks from behind a computer screen, 40 to 50 ft up some BC pine....but hey we are just going to stop our little part of the war here, and await your fine come back....
-
Don't kid yourself Morris, and don't sell yourself short....you made a decision to serve, to don the uniform, accepting unlimited liabilty....that in itself speaks for your character....you've earned the right to stand tall.
-
I would beg to differ sir, Those hundrds of thousands of men and women that served thier country are the very ones that came back from those conflicts full of new ideas, changes for the better, and are the ones that started this whole change process in our country. We as a nation have not stopped that process, and are still evolving today. Although we may not like change and all of it's little twists to our daily routine, it is nessicary for us to grow, it is nessicary for us to take that next step to becoming better. One can not sit there and say these where our golden years as a nation. As i'm sure there are many things that happend during thier times that they are not so proud of either, things that they worked hard on changing... And while i do get your piont, Canadian history is fading rapidly, but to combat that we must get everyone involved as much as possiable, provoke them into finding out more about our History, and i think that was the media is trying to do.... My Sgt Major used to drive a valid piont home every parade. "I could not care less if you where purple with warts on your dick, during combat.... you all bleed red, you will all scream out in pain, your very existance depends on the man next to you regardless of race, color, or religion Here we will chew the same dirt, share the same experiances, we will become brothers in arms... Every mans contribution to ending the conflict is important, every story must be told, or it will be forgotten, and we will have broken that promise we made to them, WE SHALL REMEMBER.

Sorry to burst your bubble Eyeball, but it is not getting to expensive, in fact it sort of a like a hobby spending...Canada as a G-8 nation could be doing alot more, instead, spending on this mission is relative to it's acceptance, because it is not popular, it does not get the support it needs, support like funding, etc etc ....one of the main reasons it is going so slowly.... -
First i just wanted to say thanks. it means alot to me and the rest of the people here, that we are in your thoughts. As much as i would like to steal all the lime light there are some more names on this board we should also remember, Names of people who are serving now or who have served before us, Angus Thermopyle Argus M Dancer Weoponeer. I know there are more, feel free to add on more if you like, i apologize if i got my info incorrect, all these are the guys i'd like to salute....

You can debate this until hell freezes over, and it's all going to boil down to a cost, a huge cost, one that Canadians are not willing to pay.... And if it is, what do you think that means for Canada? You make it sound like NATO is not doing that today, the reason we are in Afgan today was that the US went to war under art 5 of the NATO defensive pact, an attack on one is an attack on all....yes in that process we removed the Taliban government, but we also have a responsibility to rebuid what we've destroyed. or leave the country a smoking hole....ripe for more of the same problems. You have read about NATO defensive pact, and you are familar with Art 5 i assume...if you are then please walk me through it, why are we involved in Afgan... Yes there is many spots in the world that are as much or worse off than the Afganistan. So what is your piont here, that we have spent enough cash in Afgan time to move on, we've buried enough soldiers, time to move on so we can bury some more else where ....We are not in Afgan because we've decided to save Afganistan, that it was on some list of states that needed saving....we are there to rebuild it because we've kicked the crap out of it....and we want to rebuild it so we don't have to come back.... And while you are pretty good at compling lists of countries in need. Name one out of your list that is not going take the same level of commitment we are giving Afgan, i mean military commitment, tanks , jets , soldiers, bombings etc etc etc....name one that we can get away with by just bringing in food, teddy bears , and candies.... I know alot of Afgans that would think differently.... Is that fact or opinion, if it's fact perhaps you can give us a link... We're not bleeding for a lie, where bleeding for a cause that you've given up on, that you've swept under the carpet....And don't give us that soldiers go where they are ordered to and we the people are responsible for thier lives crap ....if thats the case you've failed us miserably...you sent us on this mission and then forgot us...because you no longer supported the mission.... Canadian soldiers believe in the mission, no question about that fact... ask any of them, not because we have to, or that we've been ordered to, but because you gave it to us and we will accomplish it, regardless of how hard it is , despite if you support it or not....we don't quit, we don't don't whine, we get the job done.... Did we need Afganistan to relearn that, have we forgotten those past conflicts already, what makes you think that Afagn will be any different , war and it's effects will not be forgotten by those that have felts it's touch one way or another, for the rest of Canadians it will soon fade from thier minds to be replaced by something else....Have a good Rememberance day. -
Obama, Harper, and Afghanistan
Army Guy replied to Keepitsimple's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No i got your piont, loud and clear, and it was not my intention to suggest we stay in Afgan just to get retooled, i was refering to the waste of time it would be to give us a rest and not accomplish anything in that time period, using that rest period to get rested, and regrouped, and retooled OK..when in reality all that would get done is the rested portion as we can not afford to retool, or regroup....and much more worthy taskings could be accomplished by remaining in Afgan and continuing our work here.... But that commitment was made anyways, which does make it part of the issue.....DND had explained to the government on serveral occasions that we were not equiped or manned for a moderate threat battle field. Knowing that we still got our marching orders....One would expect that the government would have set in motion a planed rebuilding phase on the fly....but they did not, and it took the lives of soldiers to actually get the government to purchase some of the equipment we needed, Ilits jeep replacement, etc etc.... Our Military has never reflected our Strategic defensive requirements, if it had we would not be in the state it is in today. Our Militaries shape and condition is the way it is because that is they way the people in Canada want it to be in, and the government is all to willing to shovel funding into projects that get the most votes or pay back....and while i agree there are several projects that funding should be pumped into, such as health care and education....we still need to keep our defense near the top of the list.... I made those comments with this in mind serveral posters had commented we have done our more than our part, and have been in the front lines for far to long.... We as a nation have signed a defensive agreement, we all know that, but this mission is not over, and there is still alot of hvy lifting to be done, and who knows where we will be in 2011, perhaps the mission will have moved on to a peacekeeping phase, but at this time it is still unknown...and although we have been involved in most of the fighting, the job is not over....and we would not have lived fully up to our defensive agreements or have we ? You can't say that in the halls of NATO, or other western governments there has not been talk of having another look at what makes up the NATO alliance, to relooking at the defensive agreements, and who is a free loader and who is carrying the load....and when or if Nato survives this mission, should we not be worried on which side of the coin we are on....can we risk not having a defensive pact , paying of our own defense ? I think the WHY part has been debated to death, everyone knows WHY we are there, and has since lost interested in the mission, and want to move on, try something new....it's not becasue the mission has changed because it really has'nt changed much over the years.... Canada is not Santa Claus, excellent piont, one in which i agree totally....But at the start of this mission most Canadians thought it would be cool to play santa....not fully understanding what it meant to go to war, or what effort was required to rebuild a nation... Yes our leadership did kiss alot of US ass, but not for the reasons you think, they where kissing US ass because they where greatful for an out ,of IRAQ, thank you "kiss" thank you "Kiss", yes we will go to afgan, it was not until after the phone hung up did crieiten ask where is Afganistan, and what is the problem dere..... Things are getting better in Afgan, i know right now things are a little cloudy, there are days i even ask myself are we winning....is it worth it....and then you see the regular Afgan people , at open markets, going to school, traveling, moving about....when it was not long ago when all of that is imposiable....i'm on my third tour now, and things have changed for the better, but it won't happen over night, it will take years ,decades, for it back to normal.... -

Bluegreen: You find it distastful and cynical that we need a war to retool our military, put yourself in our soldiers boots, for just one day, the Military has been screaming for 20 years that our military is approaching rust out, and it has taken this conflict to get what little table scraps have been thrown our way.... I don't find it distastful, i find it disgusting. That good men and women need to pay for this very equipment with thier lifes, equipment meant to protect and defend this nation, and everyone in it...some thing that should be automatically given to us. Just think for a moment the level of dedication it takes to put your life on the line just to get some of the equipment you'll need to defend the same people who would not equip us properly in the first place.... And while you may think we are kissing other countries asses, i would perfer to call it professional courtesy extending our hand out and saying thanks...they did not have to be there when we needed them , they did not have to assist Canadian soldiers on a daily basis be it with arty support, air support, helo escort, helo transport, tank support, you name it, and yes we have also extended some of that to our allieds, We are after all on the same team, fighting for the same goals. we just happen to be the poor cousin.... -

Now that would be a good day in the CF...just to fill out existing Regiments, would be a good day...But it would mean doubling the size of the current army, by atleast another 3 Brigades. Approx another 15,to 20 K of pers. And as nice as the Cons have been they are not that nice.... It's true, recruiting is hitting all thier goals, set a few years ago to actually increase our size, but here is the catch, the avg age in our military is well over 37 years old, what this means is while we have increased intake, retiring members are out pacing them. DND can not process them fast enough. And while it would be nice to get more Infanteers, and other combat trades in....for everyone we hire we need to hire 5 to 10 support pers along with them...Some trades such as mechanic's for instance are just above the 50 % manned mark, and thier training is over a year long....and todays tech and equipment an Infantry regiment does not go far without these guys, they are already at 50 % doing twice as much with half the guys...and they are burning out...and getting out.... Add more fuel to the fire most if not all our combat units only have half to a third of their proposed vehs, and other equipment....that means it is in constant use, to coin a phase we drive it until it explodes, then the mechs get to look at....so every problem is a major one, very little in the way of small fixes.... and this is just one example...hence why i'm a little scepticle when it comes down to the rest and rebuild phase...because just to build us up to where we are suppose to be today, is going to take major funding, more funding than the cons can dream of... Sorry did'nt mean to paint such a gloomy picture, but it is going to get worsr before it gets better.... -

Normally i'd be the first one jumping up and down at the thought of getting a break, spending some time with the family, doing some other training, rebuilding the army with new toys etc etc...but i have my doubts that it will happen...for a number of reasons, one is if we are going to get a break , rest and recoup, and rebuild then we should at least try and accomplish something in that time frame...rebuilding a undermaned and under equiped force would be a worthy goal....but an unlikely one with the condition of the budgets and future monies...no funding then no rebuilding... Military And while we have been in the spot light for sometime, we've been dancing around on the fringes ...i'd like to remind everyone so have the Americans and British, Dutch, Australian, and others, and all will be there until this mission dies out...there is no end date for these countries, and they've been at our side since the start. and while we are contributing to the mission we are not doing so according to our postion as a G-8 nation...and if they are not going to rebuild us then they should just keep us here, which atleast will force them to equip and modernize the force here.... -
Nice catch i hav'nt seen that site for a while...but i think as far as the public is concerned this dog will always have fleas.
