Not true, it has always been a war crime for a non combatant, or terrorist to kill a soldier according to the Geneva conventions.

Funny when the UN had failed to stop the slaughter for the first couple of years, shit they even did it in front of UN troops, with NO reaction from the world...... it was a NATO , with the US in the lead that stepped in and stopped it all, people forget that part, WTF they were only killing each other right....it was Under NATO that the mass graves were found thousands of military age men, ages 14 to 60 rounded up lead to a secluded area, and killed, some shot, some run over, their favorite ,was to strike their victims in the head with a large wooden mallet, and let the bodies float down stream....it was under NATO that people that committed war crimes were charged........ ALL of that stopped once NATO arrived, including the shelling of civilians US aircraft pounds serb croat, and muslim arty positions......some how everyone forgets that one.....

Just curious but how do you know what she went through.....i did not know you sat on the war commision to decide who is a hero and who is not......does it bother you that some have called her a hero.....i mean do you loose sleep over it, do you spend nights writing your government officials about it..........I'm sure she does not sleep through the night, i'm sure she will to live with those memories for the rest of her life, she had the balls to sign up and volunteer to answer her nations call, she completed her tour of duty as ask of her , more than a lot o people around here did........she's a hero in my books.....

Yes the US spent billions of dollars to exploit the Afghans wealth so a chinese company could profit from it.....do you even read the stuff you post......OH i get it the US owns china now......Not to mention all the challenges of just getting started to mine or drill.....my question to you is why is the USA with drawing most of it's combat power from the area, power that they would need to over see the extraction of all these minerals you speak of.....I'm pretty sure that the US government has already spent well over a trillion dollars in the area already.....would it make sense to spend bils to fight a war then to withdrawal it's forces before they could dig the shit out of the ground.....only to have other nations companies run in and set up mining operations.... I'll talk slow so you can understand, there is nothing available in most of the towns and villages that have been destroyed or touched by the war, most of the local officials are gone, as the police, and other services..... etc etc, those that are there are Assads people, and they offer nothing, ........So where does CSIS double check that info again.....I have not been there, but i did not have to , 2 RCR was the military unit that set up these camps so other depts could do their work......one of the main issues they had was verifing Syrian personal info, like where they worked,what they did for work, what skills they had, did they have a criminal record, are they wanted in another country, did they play a role in the war, and if so what role.....Go ahead and explain that for us all.....CSIS is good at their job, but when you have nothing to check out this info out with and a short time line....wTF do you think happened.

the majority of UNHCR are locals , so what resources does the UNHCR have that was not available to Canadians during the process....So am i suppose to relax now everything is OK because a bunch of local wing nuts researched each candidate.... ......explain to me how they would verify any info on any refugee , could they phone the local syrian police dept, government office perhaps, maybe a syrian pass port office, local hospital....this is made impossible by the civil war in that country, whoops forgot that part.... ....if they do not appear in any know Canadian government computer then they must be OK.....like we have a list of all know terrorist or terrorist org in Syria, plus a list of all Assads henchmen.....or all the rebels that may or may not have committed war crimes, like used gas on civilians.....how would anyone know that, in a few short interviews......

After your city gets bombed.....is that a requirement to become a refugee.....because there are only 162 conflicts around the world today...why have we not backed up the trucks to any of those countries.....lets take Afghanistan, even our translators that helped save Canadian lives were refused entry.....but in Syria it was a gong show.....anyone and everyone.....because their homes were bombed a few years,what a joke...... try 30 plus years for most Afghans, what did they get from our government for their efforts the middle finger is what they got...........I think your theory has some holes in it..... you said they were screened, how is that possible, a lot of those said refugees did not even have papers, such as passports, birth certificates, no back ground checks could be done, and if possible who would do them, the Syrian police, local Imam, who confirms any of the info provided, what your telling us is they had a short conversations with Canadian immigration officials, that could do very little to check out provided info ..........maybe you can provide a source that details all the actions that where taken to ensure we only got the best syrians...
