  1. The alarmist's who preach man made global warming don't like facts. It gets way of their of their agenda and confuses people. Which is why they continually claim the debate is over.
  2. They've been to busy thanking pelosi for her treason. Old Abe had it right. http://www.strangecosmos.com/images/content/108640.jpg
  3. It really doesn't matter. We know what's behind it. http://www.crossroad.to/text/articles/la21_198.html ...current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class - involving high meat intake use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work-place air-conditioning, and suburban housing - are not sustainable. A shift is necessary. which will require a vast strengthening of the multilateral system, including the United Nations..." [1] Maurice Strong , opening speech at the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development Maurice Strong, who led the Rio conference, seems to agree. His ranch in Colorado is a gathering place for Buddhist, Bahai, Native American, and other earth-centered religions. Yet, while spearheading the restructuring of the United Nations (see " World Heritage Protection?"), he also helped design the blueprint for the transformation of our communities. And in his introduction to The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, he called local leaders around the world to "undertake a consultative process with their populations and achieve a consensus on 'Local Agenda 21' for their communities." Achieving that consensus meant painting scary scenarios of a hurting, dying planet that frighten children, anger youth, and persuade adults to submit to the unthinkable regulations. (See "Saving the Earth") It means blaming climate change on human activities and ignoring the natural factors that have - throughout time - brought cyclical changes in climate, storm patterns, wildlife migration, and ozone thinning (there has never been a "hole").
  4. It certainly is. However when you shine a light on what the sustainable development crowd advocate, there is no difference.
  5. Not much global warming here. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/1...ef=wxeyewx14day
  6. Basicly what you are talking about is subsistance living. Why would anybody buy anything from you, not that you would be producing anything that anybody wanted.
  7. Of course not, and i'll bet it won't the last time. I would suggest the easter bunny get himself a four wheel drive.
  8. What we have is retoric and no science, and it has nothing to do with morality. The UN would be last place on earth one would look for morality. Corruption yes, but not morality.
  9. Nonsense. The polar bears did not go extinct in any other natural warm period, why would they go extinct now. Nor are we anywhere near past natural warm periods. Gore is a liar no matter how you try and spin it. http://www.worldclimatereport.com/index.ph...vived/#more-216
  10. Of course you forgot to post the science behind what you said as it pertains to screwing up the eastern bunny, which I'm sure you will do immediately, and not just some rain dance science.
  11. But now you are straying into the area of a false religion. Such as pantheism. Which is the worship of the created rather than the creator, and as some like to soffen it up by saying equating with God. However, it only really equates with atheism.
  12. I guess the global warming crowd haven't figured out how to spin this one yet. Or they'd be all over it like Christ bearing down on a sinner.
  13. I don't think there is anything wrong with the planet, I think there is something wrong with peoples heads. http://itsgettinghotinhere.org/1318 Saturday night brought snow flurries amounting to over 20 cm by Sunday morning, stalling the regular duties of the Easter Bunny in his east-coast route. The head bunny is on strike because of unworkable conditions, claiming climate change has made its work close to impossible. Bunny says it will not return to egg hiding in Canada until it sees more effort from both the government and Canadians to help tackle climate change.
  14. Secularism isn't atheism. It most certainly is geoffrey. Main Entry: sec·u·lar·ism Pronunciation: 'se-ky&-l&-"ri-z&m Function: noun : indifference to or rejection or exclusion of religion and religious considerations
  15. http://www.grouchyoldcripple.com/archives/thanksnan.jpg A site with a lot of funny stuff. http://www.grouchyoldcripple.com/
  16. 'DogOnPorch' date='Apr 7 2007, 10:28 PM' post='205064'] None of which has anything to do with the so-called man made global warming. I don't know where you grew up but the pine beetle is really in the interior as the map shows and only really borders on northern BC where peters out. http://www.for.gov.bc.ca/hfp/mountain_pine..._2001to2006.pdf If you read it, you will see what I refered to. Now there is a left wing answer.
  17. Here's the problem right here. Indonesia's State under SiegeThe false religion of atheism can not defeat Islam. It took the forces of Christianity to defeat the Islamic's before, and drive them from and stop them from taking over Europe.
  18. So those 2500 people at the IPCC aren't scientists? Or would the scientists who oppose climate change happen to be representative of this scientist? http://environment.guardian.co.uk/climatec...2031457,00.html He wasn't duped into anything. He was there to talk about oceans. Which he did.
  19. 'DogOnPorch' date='Apr 7 2007, 08:59 PM' post='205048'] If there is any, you certainly haven't provided any. On your other distraction. We are told there are anywhere from twelve to a thousand species going extinct every day depending on what crank pot leftist site you look at, but yet they can't name them. 2) British Columbia hasn't seen temperatures that cold and for that long since the ealy 1980s. There is nothing to ponder here, only sort out the facts. BC has temperatures every year including this year of -45. Where the pine beatle is there never has been temperatures of -45 for two weeks at a time which is what it takes to kill them. Perhaps because of the natural warming after the last ice age. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suzuki had better hope there isn't a loonie bin on the way to the brick wall. Or he will be getting out.
  20. What science. Gore didn't have any.
  21. Remember that wonderful picture of stranded polar bears on an ice floe that were used by folks like soon-to-be-Dr. Al Gore to demonstrate how dire the man-made global warming issue is? Well, ABC television in Australia, on a show called “Media Watch,” recently debunked the entire issue (video available here, h/t NB member dscott). http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/watch/def...02_2120&story=3 It turns out -- as NewBuster Jake Gontesky reported on March 20 -- the picture was taken in August, “when every year the fringes of the Arctic ice cap melt regardless of the wider effects of global warming.” The photographer, Australian marine biology student Amanda Byrd, didn’t think the bears were in any jeopardy:
  22. The UN is a cesspool of communist corruption hell bent on one world government. http://72.14.205.104/search?q=cache:ZHGT3x...clnk&cd=1&gl=ca
  23. Our choice under Kyoto would be to destroy our economies or pay blackmail to the third world backwater failed marxist economies. It is not crazy it is simple math. http://calsun.canoe.ca/News/Columnists/Cor...04/3914710.html
