  1. The greens are a party of whac jobs and Dion would fit right in.
  2. The link says what it says, which is what I say it says. The cooling will be shown to have been removed; however, the warming of the 1990s and up to 2002 will be shown not to have persisted. Well the graph you linked to looks like the hockey stick. Which was created by a proven fraudster, Mann. Which is still trotted out by the climate alarmists as coming from the horses mouth, but actually it was from the other end. The `Hockey Stick' Dr Michael Mann of the Department of Geosciences, University of Massachusetts was the primary author of the GRL paper, and in one scientific coup overturned the whole of climate history [16]. Using tree rings as a basis for assessing past temperature changes back to the year 1,000 AD, supplemented by other proxies from more recent centuries, Mann completely redrew the history, turning the Medieval Warm Period and Little Ice Age into non-events, consigned to a kind of Orwellian `memory hole' [22]. Fig.4 shows Mann's revision of the climatic history of the last millennium. http://www.john-daly.com/hockey/hockey.htm
  3. Excellent link ty, but I suspect you do not undertsand what it was you were reading, and perhaps you should have read the whole page. I understand it quite well. The point has been made. Hansen and his computer models just took another hit. Not that they needed another hit to knock them out of the field of scientific fact.
  4. No body said that. However all jobs are dependent on the four core industries. The industries that the whac job left continually attack.
  5. While in correction mode. http://climatesci.colorado.edu/2007/04/11/...available-soon/ The correction to the paper Lyman, J. M., J. K. Willis, and G. C. Johnson (2006), Recent cooling of the upper ocean, Geophys. Res. Lett., 33, L18604, doi:10.1029/2006GL027033 will be available soon. The cooling will be shown to have been removed; however, the warming of the 1990s and up to 2002 will be shown not to have persisted. This will still be a challenge for the global climate modelers to explain, since the IPCC perspective of global warming requires a more-or-less monotonic increase in Joules within the climate system, in the absence of a major volcanic eruption
  6. The fact is it doesn't change a thing.
  7. That would probably account for 3/4 of the country never mind this board. Are there those on this board who contribute nothing, produce nothing of any real value, have no job and live off welfare. All original wealth comes from the ground through four core industries without which there would be nothing else and all the retoric of the left wing lunatic fringe can not change that.
  8. Clean energy? does Bell talk about it? I thought he was into UFO's It's the same thing.
  9. A better question would be. Where is our money from the sale of the shares. Everyone who was paying taxes at the time of the purchase should have gotten a cheque from the sale of the shares.
  10. Here we go, get out the tinfoil hats and kool-aid.
  11. Guthrie has listened to to many Art Bell programs.
  12. Someone should tell the NYT that Harper and gang including the NCC have become liberals or at the very least, went to the dark side. As someone once wrote, "Canadians need an alternative grounded in conservative ideals such as smaller government, lower taxes, the equality of citizens and the rule of law. For if all we want is the exercise of power, we might as well join the Liberals." http://www.rbcinvest.theglobeandmail.com/s...xComment/4/4/7/
  13. Exactly, and we payed through the nose for it.
  14. We are suppose to tolerate everything today. Even intolerance.
  15. Yeah we could be just like the rest of the third world leftist run backwaters.
  16. No you would be backrupt by then. The charge time I quoted for the fancy golf cart was correct. There will only be a handful of people who will buy them, and after a time they will go extinct.
  17. Equating temperature rise and C02 as the alarmists would have us believe, is like believing the sun comes up because the rooster crows.
  18. Whew! What a relief! The last time the planet had a large concentration of CO2 in its atmosphere, there was a mass extinction! I feel better already. We can't be sure what the effect is. Sure, I'll buy that. But we also know that at historic concentrations, like the last million years or so, humans can thrive. Why would we turn a blind eye to the effects of changing that concentration? Temperatures have nothing to do with CO2 which can clearly be demonstrated from looking at the historical records.
  19. Which in itself, given that I would at least sleep 8 hours (from Toronto......) I would hope you would sleep a lot more than that. However that 8 hours of charging is not all at one time. It's 3.5 hours every 250 miles.
  20. I'll add expensive snake oil to my original comment. Two hundred and fifty miles to the charge. I'm going to assume that's not driving it at night or with the heater or air conditioning running. How far does it go then. Even if it those items weren't running it would take 8 hours of charging on the way, just to drive it one way to Vancouver.
  21. The fact is it had no effect in the past when it was much much higher. To assume that it does now is not just unscientific but absolutely ridiculous. http://www.junkscience.com/MSU_Temps/historical_CO2.html
  22. Electric cars are really nothing more than glorified golf carts. That's the only reason they might be cheaper. From a practical stand point they're not worth a damn.
  23. It's gona get a lot worse.
