I did not call him an asshole, he calls himself an asshole. Why, ask him. I was just pointing out something I thought interesting, such as a 20 post a day average, and that he says FORMERLY called Morris Dancer, although he was never formerly Morris Dancer on this forum, and that he calls himself an asshole. I just have never seen it in any other forum. Another one I found interesting is a Man of Action, Gentleman of Leasure. Kind of contradicting. Jefferiah, in fact if you joined just this week, YOU have about a 20 post a day average also. And yes, the Sabres have been a great pleasure to the area, as opposed to the Bills. Hopefully, they can go all the way this time. I do not think it fair for a southern city to win the Stanley Cup like Dallas and Carolina.

CBCI found this bit intriguing too: This has NOTHING to do with Americans Insulting Canadians. -
Canadians insult America (again)
ft.niagara replied to America1's topic in Canada / United States Relations
To a Canadian, apparently, a peacetime attack on New York with 3000 dead, together with its economic toll, is no big deal compared to other events in history. There is no comparable event in history like it, IMO. -

When he says only a minimal amount of respect, and dislike bordering on hatred, he has defined himself. Yes, he might not boo, but the hatred is palpable. Canadians, some and maybe quite a few, dislike America and Americans. I do not think a negative feeling toward Canada exists. If there is any booing in your directions, it is only a reaction to stuff that has come in this direction for decades. Where it comes from, who knows, but obviously if children are saying it, they have learned it from their parents, parents like Remiel. -

The incumbent always has the advantage. I have mixed feelings about who would be better AT THIS POINT. Overall, I prefer the Republicans especially on judgeship appointments, but on free trade, Iraq, and possibly immigration, the Democrats might help the situation. -

You reject nationalism, but you still feel Canadian? But then again Canada is not a nation, it is something else. You have to be Canadian to understand. -

Because it defended against the Canadians.

Question, why did you change your name from Morris Dancer to M.Dancer, have a whole new start date, but kept your post total? Also, why do you call yourself an ****hole? Answer, on this forum, I have had only one start date and my name, on this forum has always been M.Dancer.......and.....becasue I am an asshole. You are the most prolific poster I have ever seen with over a thousand posts in a month and a half. By my calcalulation, you have about a twenty post a day average. As far as being an asshole, I will have to take your word for that.

Canadians insult America (again)

Name a similar occasion. What disservice to others who have died. What are you talking about? I have been referring to 911 as a defining moment in history, upon which many events have followed. To understand the events which follow (American response), you have to understand the effect of 911 on America. In a similar way, to understand the foundations of the start of WWII, you have to study the after effects of WWI on Germany. Any death is tragic -

Bell's palsy is a temporary issue. His seemed perminent. Wasn't it a member of his cabinet who made fun of Bush? Or was it Martin's? I think neither past Premiers would have been inspirational in a crisis. I can not understand how Chretien ever was elected by the Canadian voters. Bush has tried to rise to the crisis at hand. Hind sight is 20/20. The attacking a country which had nothing to do with the attack is bogus, because who knew at the time. Iraq had long ago thrown out the inspectors. They played the shell game when they (inspectors) were there. The thought that this was not a poor man's weapon of mass distruction is also bogus. Chemical weapons would be expected to produce deaths in the thousands also, and they are considered the definition of a poor mans weapon of mass distruction. -

I was in the NY National Guard at the time of 911 and saw it first hand. This was the use of a weapon of mass distruction. The only way to top it would be to use a WMD. If there was credible intelligence that such and such had such and such, it is the RESPONSABILITY of the PRESIDENT to act according to his oath of office. The 911 commission was just a bunch of second guessers. Can you imagine the second guessing if a nuclear bomb or chemical attack (remember anthrax? remember SARS?). Televangelist? BS. Again, whose country was attacked, or likely to be attacked again. But if you are real NICE, and criticize the US real hard, you will be nice and safe. Furthermore, since it is a national sport to criticize Bush, I would like to comment on Cretian (sp?). I guess the guy had a stroke to one side of his face, but he certainly was not someone who I would ever have voted for, yet there he was the leader of CANADA with one big hard on for the US. I think his big claim to fame was his French name, and his French heritage and language skills, but it certainly was not his leadership in a crisis. -
I think pretty much everyone here will verify that Americans have booed our anthem. You don't think that's true? I live in Buffalo. It is a border city, and I am very familiar with Canada. I get Canadian TV on my cable. No, I have never heard, or heard a report of American booing anything Canadian. As I said, I see Canadian flags on many buildings which have nothing to do with Canada from motels/hotels to business buildings. I have long ago become frustrated with Canada. I enjoy checking into this forum to see what is being said about my country. I have enjoyed reading about your problems relative to language and geography. Being small has its advantages/disadvantages as being bigger has its advantages/disadvantages. I see US policy as an offshoot of its being bigger and having to address an issue. Kind of like being a grownup and having to go to work. Canada, being smaller just doesn't have the same problems YET.

No right of habeas corpus for Canadians

I think that both parties see the hispanics as the next power base. Just as 90% of the blacks vote democratic, nobody wants to piss the hispanics off it seems. Both parties dream of 90% of the hispanic vote. -

There might be some truth that acting incites them, but 911 showed that reacting is not always the best policy either. Sending a cruse missle at an asprin factory as Clinton did sent a message of incompetence, and fear. If to object at a people's right to self preservation is not ANTI..., what else is it? -

Not a chance. They don't speak English. -
I think you are dreaming. Canadian hatred to the US is palpable. Americans just want Canadians to be their friends from what I have seen. I have never heard once of ANYTHING antiCanadian.

North American Union and spp.gov
ft.niagara replied to GostHacked's topic in Canada / United States Relations
Hillary Clinton came out recently with a list of negatives the US has enjoyed with its relationship with Canada. Eighty percent of Ontario wine is sold in the US, but NY wine producers are shut out of Canada. Many other examples were listed. IMO Canada and Mexico have been avenues of rape of the American economy, not only directly, but indirectly by acting as transit spots by China and Japan. But never fear, the Democrats will get into power, and because of ties to labor will start plugging some of the holes, hopefully. Bush and the Republicans has been very helpful to the Canadian economy. -
I for one would like only the natioinal anthem of the host country played. I think that there is too much opportunity for this sort of crap. There was booing of the American anthem at a Canadian game. IMO Americans are overly differential to the Canadian flag and anthem. The Canadian flag flys outside many corporate buildings, and even Buffalo's City Hall. IMO the respect is not reciprocated, and it apparently does not go unnoticed.
