CBC and the Globe are the only unbiased news sources in Canada of any stature. Can West is definitely biased and owns mosts of the newspapers , TV and Radio stations. Their bias towards Israel is no surprise; the owners are Jewish. I think it is disgusting and very bad for getting true balanced information from a news service that is controlled by one source.

Paulpaul you can't be serious. We should demand that the federal government take over control of healthcare. Where would we be without the polio vaccine; small pox vaccines? Get realistic. There is too much use of anti biotics that can cause problems. Antibiotics should only be used when absolutely necessary and the patient MUST take the full dose once started or the virus can get stronger and not be controlled by anti biotics.

John Gomery, probably should be removed. He has forgotten that in Canada; judges and juries keep their mouths shut and don't make judgemental statements to the press. They are required to at least keep an open mind until the case has been heard; certainly they should appear to. It does sound like he has crossed that line. I am sure there are many other qualified person who can replace him and keep their mouths shut until judgement is ready to be announced.

No Digby, I am not buying your whining. Quotas are the fairest way to distribute fishing rights. That way it controls the number of fishing boats; the fishermen know how much of a catch they are allowed; it limits the catches from those bigger and faster. Fishermen who sold off their quotas for booze or the rampant drugs ; you yourself claim they consume; have no one to blame but themselves. If you fish illegally and take fish without quotas; you are stealing from the citizens of Canada and future generations of fishermen.
