The problem is that judges are lawyers, as are most politicians. Lawyers as a general rule of thumb, are unethical, dishonest, and completely uninterested in reality.

The reality they are forced to be interested in is what's written in the law books. Apparently there is a law on those books in Europe dealing with time restrictions on the filing of charges.

I don't give a shit about Trump policy. I care that he's got an IQ of 84, knows nothing about everything, and is in Putin's back pocket. Is religion or any other false ideas dangerous? Of course. Do we need to pursue universal ethics based in reality and on advancing human well being? Certainly.

It's an attempt at context, and a rebuttal to the progressive narrative that European/white culture is irredeemably racist and evil. Progressives focus solely on the misdeeds in the history of the white world and never allow for the fact they were actually MORE enlightened, and gentler than most of the rest of the world. Just like they focus on isolated acts of racism in America or Canada but ignore the vastly more common racism among non-white people elsewhere - or even here. We are the least racist countries on Earth but to hear the Left talk we're worse than anyone else.
