I still don't know where bleach and Lysol came from? There are natural disinfectants. Alcohol, vinegar, lemon juice, etc. Not that that would have any effect, but they're also not toxic chemicals.

Not sure how to spin it, eh? Pretty hard. Maybe go with the "sarcastic" excuse, though that seems even worse than not knowing any better.
