  1. Unless there is some economic miracle in Ontario I doubt the Cons will retain their support.
  2. The cons already realize that running on the record won't work.
  3. Reminds me of a certain conservative MP
  4. Canada can't afford to be an interventionist nation, not unless we want to end up drowning in debt. Not that facts every stopped a conservative.
  5. I find it funny how con shills such as yourself turn a blind eye to Conservative electoral fraud, yet you work yourself into a froth about 19 employees at a private company possibly fraudulently calling in sick.
  6. What a load of shit. Unemployment in Ireland is almost double that of Canada, and the country's economy is in tatters.
  7. Are these really the best damage control talking points the cons can come up with? Oh no, the opposition is taking advantage of con duplicity! The horror!
  8. Just think, we would be in surplus right were it not for those billions spent on corporate giveaways. Can anyone say 'manufactured deficit'?
  9. Looks line Romney's going to take it.
  10. 3500 Vote separation as of right now. Come on Stantorum, we would be lost without the humour you provide.
  11. Can I get a link to the source of your numbers?
  12. The good old Con diversion eh? We're talking about influence here, not whether or not they follow alberta's almost non-existent environmental regulations. Divert Divert Divert! Seems to about sum your point up. Accuracy counts.
  13. Would this be the same china that's investing billions in the oil sands? Try to look a little less like a partisan shill bill.
  14. Hopefully the shock wave takes out the senate to. Runoff elections would be the easiest way to solve the problem.
  15. Indeed. The doublethink of people like the OP is always baffling to me.
  16. Is anyone surprised? The number one enemy of conservative views is factual information.
  17. Nothing in the big news sites as of yet, but I'm hearing that the RCMP may have recently executed a search warrant on Racknine.
  18. I'd doubt it will get much, if any, play by tomorrow. There's really not enough to this story for it to be sustained for any real length of time. Meanwhile robogate keeps on getting more interesting.
  19. Callers on behalf of the federal Conservative Party were instructed in the days before last year’s election to read scripts telling voters that Elections Canada had changed their voting locations, say telephone operators who worked for a Thunder Bay-based call centre. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/politics/article/1137273--conservative-scripts-misdirected-voters-in-2011-election-say-call-centre-staff http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/02/27/i-made-misleading-election-calls-for-the-tories-call-centre-workers-speak-out/ If true, this is pretty damning.
  20. I do wonder how Harper will keep the insane members of his base quiet now that they no longer need to fear an election. After all if they can't force their unpopular social/fiscal plans on Canadians now, when else will they get a chance? I expect a lot of the language coming out of the former reformers to start mirroring what we're hearing from the American republicans.
  21. Quite a few assumptions you're making there, can't say I expected much from the con shills however.
  22. "But the Liberals did it" The new conservative rallying call. Who am I kidding when I say "new", more like their rallying call for the last six years.
  23. Haven't read it as of yet. As to the point of luck you have to remember it took Harper four elections to win a thin majority mandate. This on the back of a major scandal and multiple failed leaders.
  24. So Harper's going to start a trade war with the largest economy in the world to protect Alberta?
