The Invasion of Europe - Germany to take in 800,000 migrants
kactus replied to scribblet's topic in The Rest of the World
And you wonder why some people do not have the capacity for arguments. Your generalisations and killings of innocent people stinks.... -
You got your wires mixed up...It is Israelis that are killing Iranians: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/us-pushing-israel-to-stop-assassinating-iranian-nuclear-scientists/ If you are referring to the treatment and killing of the iranian/ canadian photographer Zahra Kazemi by the agents many years ago yes you are right. She was arrested and mistaken for a spy. But my point is Iran's human right records comes way down the list when compared to the alleged nuclear arms ambition. My point of contention is poor human rights is used as a 'vehicle' to put Iran on spotlight when all other options fail and it is not because of compassionate ground or sympathy with Iranian people. It's just politics.... Yes it is those 'sneaky, calculating' policies of the israeli government...The above link is just an example of many terrorist acts Israel commits against another sovereign nation. US relationship with Israel has been at all time low thanks to Obama administration vis a vis foreign policies... And I don't need to tell you that he is not much loved in Israel for being black and having a muslim background.
-
When Iran's nuclear ambition was on spotlight many people literally jumped on the "bandwagon" complaining that Iran is a threat to Israel. Thankfully, now that the negotitions are underway and in progress we are witnessing yet again the goal posts are shifted. This time to human right records in Iran. How convenient... Obviously if there was a mileage to still winge about Iran not abiding to promises on nuclear deal they will still be nagging about Iran being a threat to Israel. Now the attention s diverted to poor human right records in Iran as if they cared what was going on there in the last 40 years. Mind baffling. This will never stop and it is digging a bigger hole that wasn't there. It is actually Iran that has been made a scapegoat by Israel and its policies to create and prolong that hostility. It suits the agenda and their foreign policy to stay close to US unreservedly and yet complain about Iran's domestic human right's records which doesn't quite frankly wash up as it was never their concern. It is hiwever a tactical scopegoat to give Israel a free hand to carry on with what they do with their arab buddies.

You do realise that wiki is not a vetted source...You can do better than that. In all honesty if you have deep insight about the Iranian culture and its people then fine let's talk about it. But to stand firm on a viewpoint that isn't valid is just silly. Repeating the same old news (as one does) isn't controversial. However, if you have lived in a culture or know their people that is a genuine wisdom, but it is rare.

Rue, You are so blind that you don't even realise how biased you are towards Israel. But then again if you ask a Jew where they will put their preference between Arab/ Israeli issue then of course the tendency is to be patriotic. What makes it utterly despicable is when dealing with a propagandist like yourself. That will cloud judgement and of course you will never hear the other side of the argument. I don't care if you are Jewish. That is irrelevant! And whether you think I am Muslim indoctrinated in a certain way about Jews it is the hallucinations in your head. I can't help you with that. You can if you wanted to. But you know what? I have come to realisation with people like you that you try to kill off an argument/ debate or divert attention from the topic. If someone has a valid point you just play the "victim card". Why? because you are conditioned this way and cannot help it. Your irrational behaviour is to discredit the other party and always make a victim of yourself. you label others 'Jew hater' and claim it with such conviction like a religious zealot. People do not call you in a certain way if there is no reason for it. You create that reason. Well guess what get used to it. It is a democratic process unlike yours and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I find it quite hypocritical with your stance which unconditionally supports Israel. You portray this image that "Muslims and Jews are equal". I mean I can totally understand that as a Jew you may have preference towards Israeli policies. But coming here telling me that your words gives equal representation of both parties is utter none sense. What you think does not match up with what you say on this forum and is just to please a targetted crowd. Any sane person can read this right through you. And yes yes yes you will support Bush on this forum because you feel Israel should attach itself to the tail of US or Canada and anything that happens to Israel tantamount to happening to US/ Canada. This comes from constant paranoia/ fear that one day that attachment will go away. The reality is all you really care about is Israel not US or Canada... Anyway, this is not about Argus or Bush for that matter. Be a man and stand firm for what is right rather than lying to yourself and us claiming your views on Israel are unbiased. It is not my style to continue with long worded rants like you. I feel however obliged to tell you like it is. It is of course your right to read it. But please, please stop winging and victimising process....It is getting ridiculously tiring....

What do you mean Interms of Israel they behave the same as arabs? Are you painting a whole race with certain attributes? That is bordering racism! It doesn't give much credibility when same person doesn't know the difference between arabs and Iranians and labels others as anti semite (when they are not) simply because they have different point of view!

U.S. and G5 + 1 Cave to Iran in Nuclear "Deal"
kactus replied to jbg's topic in The Rest of the World
AIPAC is a powerful jewish lobby and if you are incapable of understanding that then you are either ignorant fool (unlikely) or patriot jew who discriminately supports Israel's foreign policy above US and Canada's interests (Likely). Thankfully under Obama administration AIPAC has not been as vocal vis a vis foreign policies as they want to be. That's why there's not much love for Obama. -
And some will say Israel is worse".... (revised OP title)
kactus replied to jbg's topic in The Rest of the World
Let's leave US out of this as you desperately try to attach Israel to its tail. It's pathetic to think why on earth should US worry about a tiny country like yours that has no benefit to but US always has to pick pieces to please that tiny little country. -
GH, don't even doubt it. So called a "liberal lawyer" will not be so "liberal" when the interests of US is put ahead of Israel. Make no mistake about it. Thanks god US has a 'sane' president that is really working hard to make a change. They don't like it because for once someone is making some sense instead of just licking Libby's and Israeli lobbies back. Now is turning into Canada.
-
And what makes YOU so sure that no other arab country or Turkey is accomodating for syrian refugees. Is that the best propaganda you can come up with to portray Israel as the sorry victim as you always do when it suits your agenda? Ahhhh poor Israel...Bleeding heart
-
Neither was there such an entity as "Israel" (the land grabbers) prior to the British mandate. Typical selective story telling...

Rue rue rue..... The only drift there is the smell of hash from you.... I have said before and repeat: pomoposity is an alluring trait and you're full of it. Don't flatter yourself with your english and grammer (or lack of it) You're literally butchering the language. Leave it Rue. Leave it...
-
Rue.....Next time I wanted an opinion (especially yours) I would ask. Till that time spare me the lecture....The only thing that is disjointed is your incoherent arguments filled with bias and unsubstantiated remarks across this forum you claim as facts!. I can teach you English but fear that would be a waste of my time, essentially.

Good old Nigel Farage representing the far right UKIP who made an idiot of himself in televised interview before general elections in UK. So happy he got his a** kicked by Tories. What a farce!

Why does it matter what my name is? What is to you? I have as much right to express what I like to say and if you don't like it tough YOU go somewhere else with your anti semite BS, which has become pretty lame and boring. Many innocent people all around the world are dying and we are still shedding crocodile tears. This is a debate forum and there is always two sides to every argument. Unfortunately with your ilks is all about picking on names, character assassination, discrediting any opposing views as one would expect. And least to say coming up with biased sources that would always put Israel in the best light is not exactly a 'rational debate' but insulting the intelligence. Aside from your lame arguments and long essays (not even worth reading) there is not really much contribution. As for personal attacks on you in my previous posts don't know what the hell you're smoking but it is pretty damn lethal.
-
An quite rightly so Unfortunately, on this forum there are not that many others representing the voice of other countries. Now if you are an israeli or a jew living in US supporting israeli policies unequivocally to the detriment of arguing rationally and just to praise Israel regardless of what is actually happening then it is clear why the arguments always end up in playing the victim card, jew bashing, anti semis, blah blah blah...

Is Israel about to start another Gaza carnage?
kactus replied to Hudson Jones's topic in The Rest of the World
Interesting perspective from Gerald Kaufmann UK jewish MP on the current conflict in Gaza describing their action to Nazis: Now if a jewish MP who claims to be a zionist is so critical of the actions of the israeli government I wonder why some posters who live thousands of miles away show such a vested interest in that region and particularly Israel and will go at any length to defend actions of israeli government unequivocally!- 637 replies

I have already answered this three years ago on this very forum when the green movemnet started with massive demonstrations across Iran. See the BBC link below. It's a 20 mins interview with thea doctor who tried to save the life of Neda: http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=14413&st=15&p=435866entry435866 The irony is Neda's video being used more often now than back then when it happened...

I think you missed my point on the part of this thread where I have maintained that the rights of all ethnic groups in Iran must be preserved... However, that shouldn't validate that there is something special about Iranian jews and they should get special coverage as the title of this thread! If on the other hand the aim is part of Iran bashing I don't think this will reflect positively on Iranian people who are constantly demonized either directly or indirectly... If you have been following my line of thinking you will also see that I have defended the treatment of all iraniani/ americans' in the US. Read the links that I have posted earlier if you like and you can see ample evidence of discrimination against IranSian/ americans in US airports, workplaces, etc. Whilst it may not be comparable in this case with Iran it speaks volume about!!! It's the nutbars like these that make me think nazi ideologie is still ripe albeit in a different shape/ form: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-484762/I-hate-Iranians-US-aide-tells-MPs.html It is comments like these and alike that has and still fueling hatred against all Iranians. If it was the other way round for jews everyone would be screaming anti semitism... And quite rightly so as anti semitism is often diluted with anyone who critisizes the policies of the israeli government.

There are 1.2 billion moslems in the world. Majority of them are sunnis including Turkey (a Nato member) Then there is a Shia sect, which is in Iran, Lebanon and parts of Iraq. How do you envisage a shia minority with less than a quarter of the population of sunni moslems to take over the whole sunnis and moslem world? And please don't tell me when they acquire nuclear weapon.... As for your assertion in regards to Iranians hating arabs, yes, that's true there's a lot of bad blood between them but then again there is a lot of animosity between jews and arabs...So what's new...? Furthermore, Iran has long enjoyed a friendly relation with Syria and Lebanon (both arab country) even Iraq which once was an arch enemy. So why does Iran have to gain the popularity of these arab countries when the popularity exists? Oh yes and then there is the puppet government of Saudi Arabia, which Iran doesn't have a good relation but then again why should that be important when their own poor human rights record speaks volume.

It is not the question of whether such practises no longer apply or question their validity but rather the mindset behind the principles of these quotes and opens a room for extremism. Books are open to misinterpretation and Koran, Talmud or Bible are no exception. This coupled with the fact that there are always certain extremists who take a view from these books to justify their means. Then it becomes the war of religion. You already know my view on sharia law so no further comment.

It is from Talmud....The problem is with the double standard when people deny the deficiencies in their religion whilst magnifying others. The emphasis in bold is mine: Full article: http://www.rense.com/general21/tal.htm

There's nothing special about iranian jews. They are not Übermensch and should be treated the same as any other minorities.
-
And what's exactly relevance of this to the jewish vote in Iran's elections?
