  1. Why would you rationalise the actions of the Israeli government by what else is happening in middle east?? Just because there is a war going in Syria it doesn't justify the action of israelis to steal land from Palestinians...From outsider's viewpoint this is just an opportunistic approach by their policy-makers.
  2. Your post misses the word 'illegal' settlements! As for the rest of the comment I won'n't bother leaving it here. But let me tell you this for as long as Israel continues with her belligerent policies, then there should be no complain about missiles landing on its door step.... You can't have it both ways supporting these policies of bibi hell bent on destroying any peace with Palestinians and expect Palestinians to just sit there and see their houses demolished.
  3. Correction: We went in there on oil informed politicians and military leaders.
  4. And this video was 7 years ago when Ahmadinejhad was still in power. Now that there is a relatively more moderate government in Iran you still get some people moaning about About human rights now that the nuclear deal is reached... Watch also the video from Jason Jones: Behind the veil - Ayatollah you so
  5. Ah pull the other one Argus...If it wasn't the nuclear issue there is always the human rights card to pull out of the bag and blame Iran. It is as if you cared about Iranian people to talk about their human rights record now...not!Let's get back to the topic. How about the brutal treatment of Israehellis of palestinians? Demolishing their houses, torturing and killing innocents? Are they also cliches? lol
  6. Perhaps I asked for too much...A little research in the area and its people would give a rather 'fresh perspective' to the discussion than constant hateful chatters. In essence, I agree with your sentiment and have come to the same conclusion.
  7. Maybe by you generalising a whole nation like iranians discriminately should add the same weight given to anti-semitism. Anit-persian or something....Paradoxically, that is exactly what some of the posters here do whenever something is said about Israel.... On another note....this thread is about Israeli war crimes but as usual it ends up blaming those damn devil eyeranians....oh the irony of it.
  8. Iranian people are indeed lovely and highly educated. But you are set to repeat certain cliches like a broken record....
  9. Get back to me when you can justify why the hell Israel is building illlegal settlements in the occupied teritories.. The original point still stands....,
  10. Lol! Embassy didn't get burned. If you are talking about the US embassy it got raided but wasn't burned...and yes ahmadinejhad was not amongst the captors of the US hostages as I have proved in the link provided...Go and do your homework before embarrassing yourselves with such comments....
  11. You don't have a point DOP. That is the point...
  12. No Palestine existed??? I refer to this article.... Ottoman eraMain article: History of Palestine § Ottoman era The Khan al-Umdan, constructed inAcre in 1784, is the largest and best preserved caravanserai in the region. In 1486, hostilities broke out between the Mamluks and the Ottoman Empire in a battle for control over western Asia, and the Ottomans captured Palestine in 1516.[71] Between the mid-16th and 17th centuries, a close-knit alliance of three local dynasties, the Ridwans of Gaza, the Turabays of al-Lajjun and the Farrukhs of Nablus, governed Palestine on behalf of the central Ottoman authorities.[72] In the 18th century, the Zaydani clan under the leadership of Zahir al-Umar ruled large parts of Palestine autonomously[73] until the Ottomans were able to defeat them in their Galileestrongholds in 1775-76.[74] Zahir had turned the port city of Acre into a major power partly fueled by monopolization of the cotton and olive oil trade from Palestine to Europe. Acre's regional dominance was further elevated under Zahir's successor Jezzar Pasha at the expense of Damascus.[75] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestine_(region)#Post.E2.80.931948
  13. No that is not what you said DOP....Maybe you have a short memory. You posted a photo of him from wiki linking him with the captors in 1979 hostage crisis... I posted the wiki link with the CIA confirming he wasn't involved....Anyone can see that here
  14. The point is....Ahmadinejhad was not identified as a captor DOP...No matter how much you wanna twist that story.... In any discussion it is good to know your limits and admit when you are wrong!
  15. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the 1979 hostage crisis From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia On June 29, 2005, shortly after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won the Iranian presidential election, several major news outlets publicized allegations that he gunned down several Americans in the 1979–1981 Iran Hostage Crisis. Ahmadinejad and his political supporters have denied these allegations. Even his political opponents in Iran have specifically denied the allegations. On June 30, 2005, US President George W. Bush declared that these charges were serious.[1][2][3] The United States Department of Homeland Security initially found Ahmadinejad ineligible for a visa to enter the US, citing "reason to believe" that he was involved in the seizure.[4] The US Department of State interviewed hostages about their experiences.[5] A later CIA investigation determined "with relative certainty" that he was not involved in the takeover. Another U.S. official said of the report that there was "no evidence" that he was among the captors.[6] Full article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahmoud_Ahmadinejad_and_the_1979_hostage_crisis
  16. You are the one who claimed that Palestine did not exist... The article I posted states otherwise. Get back to me when you take a stab at it DOP.
  17. Utter nonesense! I don't particularly like Ahmadinejhad but your statement that Ahmadinejhad was the captor of Amercian hostages is false...
  18. A bit of the histor No need... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestine_(region)#Post.E2.80.931948
  19. I don't think you even realise what you are posting... The picture you are showing from Wiki above is during 1979 hostage crisis in Carter's era... It has nothing to do with Ahmadinejad (Not that it is important but it is a clear misrepresentation of events...) Furthermore all those hostages have long been released. So what is your point or lack of it!? As BigGuy already stated there are some anti-iranian posters here with their own dark agenda. I am reluctant to say you don't know what you are doing but what you are doing is deliberate misrepresentation.
  20. You are being selective but I wouldn't expect more from supporters of an apartheid regime, who do not condone the illegal settlements. Lavon Affair. This is a type of regime you are dealing with: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavon_Affair While you may not want to remember events like above, apparently plenty of folks still do... That you want to be friends with these murderers is baffling me. But, hey who said life is fair. You are entitled to bring up the subject of Grand Mufti every now and then.
  21. Too late for that. He has already lost his credibility with the rest of the 'sane' world (including UN) due to his 'systematic incoherent' behaviour. The comments is not directed at YOU to take it personal but rather the ideology behind thinking that it is OK to deprive certain people from certain land their basic rights and continue with expansionist policies of building illegal settlements in occupied land. Something that you don't seem to have a problem with to ignore the UN mandates and calls from the rest of the world. It is the Zionism dream of greater Israel....
  22. On a different subject but not totally irrelevant as it concerns politics....You might want to take a look at this: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/01/26/travel/iran-ski-dizin-damavand-silk-road/index.html
  23. Couldn't agree more.
  24. Some of the people on this forum and elsewhere complain about human rights violations, executions in Iran. The reality is they don't give a damn about Iran but everytime the west makes an effort for approachment with Iran the very same people use 'human rights' as a wild card to destroy the efforts of reaching those persians....That is the problem...
  25. Rue... In your case, please take off that tinted glass and put on the bifocal one will you? I shall however keep my distance from you. Lol http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/24229-israels-war-crimes-in-gaza/?p=1133430
