  1. I wouldn't make fun of any kind of physical impairment or mental decline. I saw it up close and personal with both my parents. I only point out that during the latter part of his term, Biden often appeared to be confused and at a loss for words. Not every time, but often enough. It's pretty clear someone else was making the decisions behind the scenes I don't get the same impression from watching Trump. He routinely engages in lively back and forth discussions all the time. While you may never like what he says, he does speak with conviction and virtually no long pauses.
  2. I agree that we have to do some trade with China as it's basically impossible to ignore that market. But as Carney himself correctly pointed out last year, China is the number one security threat to Canada. They already interfere in our elections, they seem to prefer to have the Liberals and Carney in power. China has no qualms about taking Canadians as hostages to coerce our government to give in to their demands. China is the world leader in industrial espionage and they'll likely be having a field day in Canada. Early signs seem to indicate that Canada is going to bend over for China but Trump's latest tariff threat shakes up everything now. The US did not want China gaining a foothold in Venezuela so I think they are rightly concerned about Carney getting into bed with the CCP. Trump's about face should also be pointed out here. He initially indicated it wasn't an issue when asked about Carney's deal with China, even saying that's what he should be doing. His advisors must have changed his mind pretty quickly. The biggest export to Canada from India is....people.
  3. Comparing how Trump speaks and engages with others and a usually hostile press gallery to the way Biden did, it's not even remotely close. Biden was constantly fumbling words, had very long pauses when speaking, and he did not engage with the mostly supportive press gallery anywhere near as often as Trump routinely does. Trump does get names wrong sometimes as most of us do from time to time, but when he speaks, he does not come across as elderly and confused like Biden clearly was. Look at any interview Trump does. While you may not like any of his answers, he is responding quickly and clearly. But it's good that you openly admit that the Biden administration chose to try and hide the obvious cognitive decline of the most powerful man on earth.
  4. Here you go. https://www.newsweek.com/what-top-democrats-said-then-now-about-joe-bidens-decline-2073468 They had no issue lying about his cognitive state until it reached the point where they just couldn't hide it anymore from the public. Typical robosmith rebuttal: "it didn't happen"
  5. Are these the same people that told the world that Joe Biden had no cognitive issues?
  6. Carney is caving to the CCP already? The federal government asked for a court ruling to set aside the government’s 2024 decision ordering TikTok to shut down its Canadian operations due to national security concerns. On Monday, the government filed a letter with the Federal Court saying it had reached an agreement with TikTok to set aside the wind-down order and launch another national security review. The government’s letter said Ottawa and TikTok had agreed to jointly seek an order from the court. On Wednesday, a Federal Court judge issued that order. The decision means the social media company can keep its offices here running while the industry minister conducts the new review. https://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/article/federal-court-sets-aside-tiktok-canada-shutdown-order/ A win for the CCP.
  7. It doesn't seem to be affecting him much yet. The guy has over 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube and is still posting about stories that seem to be mostly race-related.
  8. You'll like this one. LEO brutalizing a leftist in distress.
  9. I see he actually has a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from Obama.🙄 This is quite a long running con job.
  10. It's sad that this woman lost her life but we must not forget that it was100% avoidable. Renee Good made a series of very stupid decisions on that day and that is what ultimately led to her demise. Bad decisions are all too common from radicalized people.
  11. One of the lines in Carney's speech was that "Canada should work with like-minded countries". Does anyone in here believe that China fits that description? Does anyone in here believe that Canada will be allowed to conduct business in China as easily as China conducts business in Canada?
  12. Hmmm...isn't this guy Richey considered to be an intellectual giant on the left?🙃
  13. With regard to this massive Somali fraud ring, you should not be 'LMAO'. You should be p*issed off at the fact that these people who came from a garbage country into the US, are not grateful in the least, but are in fact, robbing you blind and an overall net drain on your country.
  14. The question I asked "Over the last ten years, which country in the G7 has the highest per capita rate of immigration?" Search Over the last ten years, Canada has had the highest per capita rate of immigration among G7 countries. Its immigration policies and programs have consistently supported population growth, largely driven by economic needs and humanitarian efforts. Immigration Statistics in Canada Population Growth: Canada has seen rapid population growth, with nearly 25% of its population being immigrants as of 2021. This percentage is the highest among the G7 countries. In Canada, we have faced issues with long health care wait times, housing shortages, rents rising sharply, higher rates of crime, more homelessness, more people having to rely on food banks. Our government has something called the Temporary Foreign Worker program which prioritizes them over Canadians. A huge increase in anti-Semitism. Much higher demand(mass immigration), less supply. And there's the cultural aspect. Canada isn't a melting pot, it is multicultural, which can lead to ethnic enclaves. They do not assimilate, all too often they bring their feudal hatred with them to spread here. Although there are a number of spots along our shared border that are wide open, it's more accurate to describe our entire immigration system as being 'wide open'. A weak vetting system at best.
  15. I wonder if Carney brought up the subject of fentanyl when he met with his new strategic partner Xi? Not bloody likely.
  16. A little bit of justice meted out. It's unclear if any of the stolen funds have been recovered or not in this particular case.
  17. The last Democrat administration enabled illegal mass immigration from the third world. Canadian Liberals enabled legal mass immigration from the third world. Canada has had the highest per capita rate of immigration in the G7 over the last ten years, mostly from the third world. It hasn't worked out too well.
  18. With this deal with China, at least Carney knows he will be able to rely on the continued support from the CCP during election time. Not a bad thing to have more trading partners but it would be nice if they weren't dictatorships. And it would be nice if they weren't massive security threats to Canada either. More giant container ships crossing the oceans back and forth.
  19. The numbers vary according to sources, but the estimate I just saw says 2.28 Russian casualties to 1 Ukrainian. Over 1.2 million Russian casualties vs 540000 on the Ukrainian side. I think Trump should be taken at his word about wanting to end the war since he has publicly put pressure on Ukraine as much as he has against Russia. If they wanted to, the US could march in and take it over if they wanted to. They didn't do that. In spite of Trump's often over the top rhetoric, they negotiated some kind of deal instead. It's not like the Americans have never had a presence there, at one time they even had an entire nuclear powered base built under the snow.
  20. Of course I am not privy to any details of this framework, but I assume that the US will pay for the mineral rights. I doubt they will just go and take whatever they want without fair compensation. That would be a win for both sides.
  21. Russian military doctrine has never been about keeping casualties low on their own side. They just throw them into the meat grinder in the hope that sheer numbers will overwhelm the other side. Search As of January 22, 2026, Russia's total military casualties in the Ukraine conflict are reported to be approximately 1,230,810 personnel. This figure includes both killed and wounded soldiers since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. Breakdown of Russian Casualties Total Personnel Losses: 1,230,810 Recent Losses (as of January 21-22, 2026): Approximately 2,240 (1,170 + 1,070 soldiers) over the last two days alone. I'm no fan of Russia or Ukraine tbh, but I do believe Trump is correct about wanting to end this bloodbath. It's highly unlikely that either side will win outright given what has been happening on the battlefield.
  22. It looks like they gain access to the critical minerals and also an increased military presence. That's a win not a loss. But it was inevitable that leftists would characterize any net benefits as negatively as possible
  23. Search engine suggests it's more like 20000-25000 per month or about 1100 killed or wounded per day. https://www.russiamatters.org/news/russia-ukraine-war-report-card/russia-ukraine-war-report-card-jan-21-2026
  24. Would those be the same 'concentration camps' that housed children during the Obama administration? I think it's fair to say that human trafficking was flourishing during the Biden/Harris term. The coyotes that engaged in human trafficking were thriving during that time.
  25. "Five shocking cases that prove criminals get off way too easy in Canada" https://www.junonews.com/p/five-shocking-cases-that-prove-criminals Sadly, about half the country doesn't see catch and release as a problem.
