  1. If you think the courts in the US are identical to those under the Nazis I would remind you that your guy Biden is in the White House. And for the record, the US courts while not perfect by any stretch, are nowhere near as bad as under the real Nazis. If you really and truly believe anyone that those that support Trump are as bad as Nazi supporters then it's yet another reason why nobody takes you seriously in this forum.
  2. But Canadian governments, both Liberal and Conservative both favour very high levels of immigration. Most of those immigrants come from cultures that have high birth rates. I don't see the housing market easing much in the future either. I pity those just starting out and having to face the prospect of high rent and the almost insurmountable cost of buying that first home. Those that own more than one property are doing very nicely in today's market. Roughly one-third of Liberal cabinet ministers own rental, investment real estate: records (msn.com)
  3. You are in direct contact with God? And God told you directly that the jurors or at least one juror got it wrong in the Whitmer case? Did God also want one of the jurors to be shot or is that just your own desire ? You really should take the time to read about the facts in this case. The FBI has often been accused of entrapment. Inside FBI’s probe and entrapment of a Michigan militia crew (nypost.com) Most of the conspirators were actually FBI agents. Isn't that kind of a huge red flag?
  4. In another topic on this site you stated a number of times that Hillary Clinton was found not guilty over and over regarding her negligence in the Benghazi attack. So you had 100% faith in the results of that Benghazi inquiry but in this Whitmer case you completely dismiss the verdict of a real jury? And I see that you want one of the jurors in the Whitmer case to be executed. Are you sure you don't want to try and calm down and walk your anger-driven rhetoric back?
  5. Your response was 50% of what it usually is to everything you don't like but this time you left out the "bullsh*t"! The FBI did play quite a significant role in instigating these few guys.
  6. I think the Ontario Human Rights Commissions might have something to say about that, and likely every other unelected Human Rights organization in Canada. Canada’s new human rights law: use trans pronouns or else | Education News (educationviews.org) They say that refusing to address someone by their preferred gender pronoun( 1 of 78?) in employment services, education, policing, health care, restaurants etc will be considered a form of discrimination. That seems pretty broad to start with and don't be surprised if or when that scope keeps expanding. Seriously, how can anyone know 78 gender pronouns?
  7. I'm not really certain we have the freedom to not use all these new gender pronouns. Father jailed in Canada for using incorrect pronouns (independentsentinel.com) Jordan Peterson got into a lot of trouble over this gender pronoun nonsense. A quick search informs me that there are 78 different gender pronouns. It's madness.
  8. I somewhat agree that Twitter is important in that for bettor or worse, many people get information and form opinions based on the limited information they get from the people they follow. Some alternative platforms are where conservatives are turning to because currently Twitter does not allow free speech. As for the Saudi prince, I guess he thinks suppressing free speech is more important than money. He is part of a dictatorship after all.
  9. Yet again here is a perfect example of woke filters applied to a breaking news story by the NYT and how it should have been covered( New York Post). Subway Shooter coverage in NY Times vs. NY Post, by Steve Sailer - The Unz Review After this horrific crime one would hope that since the shooter was still at large all media sources would want the public to know exactly who the prime suspect is in the interest of public safety but that was clearly not the case.
  10. The FBI did play a big part in this event and it seems they stoked the fire too much. It made great headlines for the left, "right-wing white supremacists plan kidnapping". But there is much more to the story as usual. I don't think Americans should have too much faith in the FBI leadership these days. FBI informants had bigger role in Whitmer kidnap plot than thought: report (yahoo.com)
  11. I've never been a member of Twitter since the purpose of it seems to be mainly a podium for celebrities and politicians and it's not really meant for someone like me. But I think if Elon Musk does take it over it would likely be a huge improvement over how it's currently set up. Trump was banned but Putin , the Taliban and the Ayatollahs still have accounts??? It is amusing to hear that the usual suspects on the left are distraught at the possibility of Twitter actually allowing free speech .
  12. Do you guys in those seasonal jobs also get vacation time? I don't mean the several months of every year that you collect pogey but vacation time during the time you're actually working?
  13. I would argue simply that all of the deaths and suffering as a result of Marxism stands in stark contrast to the benefits of capitalism many of us have enjoyed.
  14. If the purpose was to make the world a better place and not about enriching oneself the one person I would want to "eliminate"? would be Karl Marx.
  15. But those corporations will just pass on the cost to Canadians. There's no escaping all of the record inflation and hefty tax hikes coming.
  16. This bill seems pretty woke according to the Liberal Heritage Minister. In a somewhat goofy video, Heritage Minister Pablo Rodriguez tells Canadians what Bill C-11 is supposedly intended to do: Make it easier to find Canadian stories and music. Support Canadian artists and create jobs. Support racialized and Indigenous creators. Make more accessible content. Make sure streaming services contribute to Canadian culture. According to the Bill, search engines, like Google, will be required to boost news organizations that promote “racialized communities, cultural and linguistic minorities, LGBTQ2+ communities, and persons with disabilities.” Consequently, non-compliant news publishers not focusing on such progressive topics will be punished by receiving lower rankings in searches. So politically correct bs will be pushed to the top of the search results. Better comply or else!
  17. The justice system is usually very slow. Right now Hunter seems to be still under investigation and no charges yet. I personally think charges are highly unlikely no matter what illegal things he may have engaged in given the apparent bias in the FBI and the Justice Department. Think Hillary Clinton with her shady computer servers and James Comey bending over backwards to minimize what she had done. Remember that 50 or so former intelligence officials signing a document stating that the laptop story was Russian disinformation. Either they lied or they're not very good in their chosen profession. No need to worry about Hunter, he's very likely not going to face any repercussions beyond being warned by "the big guy" to be more discreet about the family business.
  18. Perhaps it's Trudeau's way of telling Canadians that our food cost will keep increasing for the foreseeable future. Thanks in no small part to his promise to keep increasing carbon taxes which in turn increase the cost of food and everything else. Even the Liberal Toronto Star writes about it. Canada planning for global food emergency, as Ukraine attack risks wheat supply | The Star This is from Trudeau's own mouth..or at least the script that was prepared for him: "We've seen... disruptions of supply chains around the world, which is resulting in higher prices for consumers and democracies, like ours, and resulting in significant shortages and projected shortages of food, of energy in places around the world. This is going to be a difficult time because of the war, because of the recovery from the pandemic," Trudeau told reporters in Vancouver on Thursday.
  19. Are you suggesting that Facebook, Twitter, NYT and so on did not, in any way, suppress or actively block the Hunter Biden laptop story when it came out? It never happened? New York Times quietly deletes claim Hunter Biden laptop story was 'unsubstantiated' (yahoo.com)
  20. Much of our frustration comes from the fact that a fake story( Trump- Russia collusion) got intense coverage and promotion for years while a legitimate story(Hunter Biden laptop) was actively suppressed and censored by the MSM and big tech.
  21. I would argue that those things are much more common under left-wing governments. It would be pretty difficult or outright impossible to find anyone from the MSM or Canada's major newspapers referring to Trudeau as right-wing. In fact those same sources always reference the term "right-wing" in a negative way.
  22. You consider the Trudeau government to be right-wing?
  23. Trudeau has another thing in common with Biden in that he is promising food shortages. Food shortages in Canada under the leadership of Justin Trudeau. Was this supposed to be part of sunny ways? 'Difficult time' ahead with food shortages: Trudeau | The Post Millennial justin trudeau: Trudeau warns of 'difficult time,' food shortages due to COVID-19, Health News, ET HealthWorld (indiatimes.com) Quite a few links to this but CBC.com does not mention it, no surprise there.
  24. Based on anything he's said he would do, how would Canada be worse off under a Poilievre government? What policies has he proposed that you think will be bad for the country?
  25. Too many Canadians tend to vote for the party that will enact policies that may benefit them personally but be bad for the country overall, or they just happen to think of politics as a team sport which is really sad. I wish I could be more optimistic about Canada's future under the direction of the Trudeau/Singh government but there are no signs that I should.
