The Out-Of-Control IRS
Bob Macadoo replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I have to disagree. If a work group's computers started service at the same time, see similar loading one would/should expect they would have similar MTBF and fail together. Random sampling failure probabilities kinda don't apply. -
The Out-Of-Control IRS
Bob Macadoo replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Where did that probability come from? My work group has had multiple drive failures in a year. -
Sorry no to Topaz. I certainly agree with you. I was pointing out the level of rhetoric on this topic and the chaos that results. So much that rational thought is lost. Pension plans are a collective negotiative benefit for both the employer and employee. The union busters however want you to believe your hydro bills are due to unions and not the mismanagement (political and bureacratic) of direction for our hydro grid.

The Out-Of-Control IRS
Bob Macadoo replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Not that I don't think this is fishy but you would be surprised at the arbitrary rules of some workplaces. At my work you are allowed 2GB of e-mail. It made me discard highly relevant e-mails I wish I had today. The article said her harddrive, the only one I think was under subpoena, was broken. Yes it might be forensically recovered but do you keep your drives around for that, I don't. IT takes my tower, and sends it to China "for recycling". Lastly for some reason public entities I have dealt with have very small administrative server space. Probably b/c they don't think like a business, just a bureaucracy with a defined budget. -
Couldn't find any recent Post articles on this, you must be just trawling for data. I do see the Post likes to talk about this via zero regulation mouthpiece Catherine Swift of Canadian Federation of Independent Business. Hydro production viability has been destroyed by the segregation & privatization of services (generation, transmission and distribution). Public pensions are not in the distress the financial gurus would have you believe. They are making the same and in most cases better investments than your RSP has.....returns are great. I actually talked to people who believed that the gov't was paying pension cheques to retirees, literally 100% right from their taxes. They never thought it was from returns. The rhetoric must be really compelling to the sheeple.

Offensive views do not a troll make. Not defending those views doesn't count either....just a poor debater.Occasionally some false troll calls may appear but they pale in comparison to true calls......IMO shrugging your shoulders closing your eyes and chanting "sub-ject-ive, sub-ject-ive" does not a moderator make either. Finally the above is not proof you have any better sense of partisanship other than the fact I'm told you are the Almighty around here and cannot be questioned.

This statement shows you really haven't listened to much of what the "whiners" have been saying. Sigh.

MH there is my earlier post of partisanship clearly rising......partisanship is just human nature for the familial. Don't be too insulted, you've acknowledged its possible presence, just need some reflection.

Glad the government has better negotiators today. Maybe they should use them to get us out from under such an awful contract . -
Defining Canadian Family Roles?
Bob Macadoo replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Its not parsing.....its the accumulation of excerpts from Mr. McKay's juvenile persona. His tweets are high-larious. -

Is 16 years Old Enough To Vote?
Bob Macadoo replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Ask any new comer if they notice a divide.....senior members stick within their clique engaging each other with the familiar rhetoric.....when newcomers raise new alternative views....they are dismissed. Then as newcomers start their own threads, to move ideas that are dismissed, they are ridiculed for making these entries then return to their climategate/XL Pipeline/islamaphobia topics. -

Is 16 years Old Enough To Vote?
Bob Macadoo replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Partisan doesn't neccessarily have anything to do with politics, it merely shows you show an adherent behaviour to one group in this forum and condescending behaviour to another.....with no attention to political stripe. As for CA, I'll fly my flag until he says otherwise it seems to work for our Senior Mocker among others. -
How much clearer can it be that your viewpoint isn't what makes you a troll......its the impudent behaviour that accompanies the viewpoint that makes you a troll. You can rant all day that Dick Cheney saved the world and Ayn Rand is a goddess, but the moment you derail a thread about Cdn military purchases by stating you owe America gratitude for your safety......that's a troll.

Are Unpaid Internships Slave Labour?
Bob Macadoo replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
What you are refering to is an educational institution's co-op program. Any company can offer an "internship" for whatever duties/duration they would like. If you want in that field (whether flooded or scarce) you play by their rules or you don't play. If field is flooded more applicants for internor (ie. More power), scarce more opportunities for internee. -

2 age groups having different interests with respect to politics is not human nature.....thats sociological, which can be changed. Kids wanting to run around more than adults is human nature. -

The scandal of fiddled global warming data
Bob Macadoo replied to Shady's topic in Health, Science and Technology
What qualifications does Steven Goddard have to provide as a credibly referenceable opinion, might as well be from Shady's mouth. Next as I've come to research this bloke has had to retract his incendiary comments in the past, which I think he may have to again. If you look at his gif you'll notice he uses magician's misdirection.....red circles what he wants you to notice and downplays what he doesn't. Here's my crank out of the woodwork, only he uses his real name and likeness.....he's funny like that. http://www.forbes.com/sites/petergleick/2012/02/05/global-warming-has-stopped-how-to-fool-people-using-cherry-picked-climate-data/ -
Is 16 years Old Enough To Vote?
Bob Macadoo replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You're describing a privilege to me.....are we redefing what voting is? You don't need to appreciate a right, only utilize it or defend it?You appreciate a privilege, as it can be removed.
