Instead of bush derangement syndrom its Harper derangement system.

The national anthem is not about war, its about pride, respect and appreacation. These people are teaching another generation to ignore these thre virtues, and we are going to see more and more entitled brats who will give nothing back and expect the world to revovle around them.

Do you not care about your country, should we not show appreciation to our country or veterans, our history and culture?

Online voting increases voter turnout minimum 30%

What you have said is stupid. The majority of Canadians didn't vote for any of Chretiens governments. Each of those was less then 50%, but what no whining, from the left about that fact was there? A greater majority of Canadians did vote liberal, an even great majority of Canadians didn't vote NDP. This arguement that you present over and over is utter nonsense, it is just a left over battle cry from the 2001 presidential campaign. -

what marjority was that? A larger majority didn't vote Liberal and an even larger majority didn't vote NDP. Or are we now in a two party state the CPC and everbody else? -

Bernard Lord is probably the best of the 3. What he has done in the province of New Brunswick is a testiment to true conservatism. -

1.95 was definately playing to the western base of the party. Their absolutely no support of polical party welfare here. The CPC was not counting on the money. They have out fundraised all the other parties put together over the last 2 years. That 10,000,000 was a calculated loss. -

I haven't seen the liberals or ndp asking for spending cuts either. Or are you a spokes person for the Liberal Party of Canada? -

Don't tell the liberals here that, they seem to think that they are putting forward the idea of spending cuts. -
You just don't seem to get what is said to you even thought it has been repeated over and over and over. I am a conservative I have given you time and time again my opinion on spending and policy and why I support the CPC even though they do not do everything I want them to. Preston was effective because he created a real conservative movement at a time when the PC's had become liberal lite. But again this isn't new info to you dobbin, you are a typical liberal, you talk and talk and talk but have no interest in listening because of your arrogance and ego, you seem to think you always know better. You also said that the tories would win a massive majority while everyone disagreed with you from the begining, until you changed your mind in the last 2 weeks of the election because it was glaringly obvious just how wrong you are. If you were such an avid spending cutter you would have been calling for cuts for programs long before 2006 funny how you all of a sudden seem to think spending cuts are needed when its not the party you support making the cuts. Not to metion your adverse reactions to conservative appointments, but I bet not a word when PMPM was appointing liberals to government positions.

All you have to do is look at were the majority of the continous memberships are. To vote you have to have had a membership for a certain periode of time and the leadership race is 1 member 1 vote. Plus 100 votes per riding. What will be fought over in Ont and Qu, will be the riding vote, but you have to have the support of the west to have a hope otherwise you would have to sweep all of the ridings East of MB. -
Most of those Baby boomers have been saving in RRSP's for retirement, this money is going to be taxed a the marginal tax rate not like capital gains or dividends, this will not be a huge hit to government tax revenue.

The west was very visable at the policy convention, the 1.95 per vote policy and the arts funding reduction was Harper tring to play to this base. -

Peter may have the voice, but he lacks the backing in western Canada, which is vitally important, and after doing what he could to change the party constitution to help him try gain the upper hand in the next leadership race he has lost some credibility our this way. Any winner in a leadership race needs the majority support of the west, and Peter won't get it of all those expected to run Prentice is the one most likely to get the support of the party in the west. -
You are a real moron aren't you, what don't you get about me being small c, I don't like the level of arts funding, the CBC funding should have been dropped among alot of other programs. You are deluded while I support the CPC it is because it is the most right of the mainstream options, not because I follow blindly. You on the other had seem to think that the liberals have this squeeky clean godly image. Which I am sorry to say has been tarnished many many years. The liberal party needs to disappear much like the PC's did, to have a pheonix rise from the ashes. For three years they couldn't even form an effective opposition, something at least Preston Manning could do.

If Jim Prentice was to run for leader, it would be between him and Peter Mckay, possible a three way race if Bernard Lord were to enter and if he did it would divide the votes for a Prentice Victory. But hey would be pushing for a Morton candicacy. -

They paid of 30 bill in 3 years....so I think they can, and they did it without raiding EI surpluses, like the 54 Billion that went missing between 1996 and 2006 while the liberals held office. -
Whos dodging I don't really feel like reading through hundreds of pages of posts to satisfy you. The record is in this forum index, and if I felt you were worth the time of sifting back through all those posts, to find a post were I said I didn't support all of the spending by the CPC I would. But face it your just not worth the time or the effort. With that said good night, see you in another few days somebody around here has gotta work and pay some taxes for all those others to receive their entitlements.
