Tax and spending beats borrowing and spending. Spending money that isn't there, to me it reeks of dishonety. Besides, with the after tax profits the banks and oil companies are recording....I don't think they need the Billions Harper wants us to give them.

Harper is right up there with all those guys, gotta be a punch in the gut to people who believed him about being open and honest and all that other BS.

Love the honesty and intgrety of Harper's Tories, man....can't believe Stevie had that guy Carson as his top advisor. Canada's prime minister hiring a guy to advise him who was disbarred for forging cheques and stealing $23,900 from a corporation and two individual clients he represented....great resume. Who's he gonna hire next? Cifford Olson? What kind of judgement is that???? All the broken promises and patronage and scandals on top of it...problem is, where does a boot licking conservative turn??? Maybe the Christian Heritage party if they're running in your riding. Remember in the leadership race between Iggy Rae and Dion that Mike and Bob were the heavy favourites. Anyone who's ever been to the track will tell you, when the odds are split between the favourites, bet on the long shot.

So brainy people vote for lower taxes, increased spending and massive deficits??? It that's what Conservative voters consder intellignce, then you can have it. Actually, when you look at the demographics that go along with the polls, you'll find Conservative voters have the lowest levels of education....but don't worry, I'm sure your friend thinks you're smart.

I'm leaving my options open...won't be voting for Harper's Regime, that's a given....but i could go Lib/NDP or Green.

If its a choice of billions for prisons for guys committing crimes that aren't being reported, or an arena for Quebec....I'll take the arena.
