There are some very blatant differences here. These Christian charlatans will not be condoned or excuses for the terrible crime they have committed by the vast majority of Christians. Nor will it be condoned in anyway by main stream churches . Honour killings within the Islamic world along with beheadings, arranged marriages and suppression of womens rights within the extreme Islamic world can be found being taught in their mosques and condoned. Fortunately there are some followers of Islam here in the western world who have bravely put their lives on the line and are speaking up against these terrible interpatations of the Koran. But the implication by some here that this is the norm for Christians is beyond the pale.

Christians had their dark days too. But they evolved. Can Islam evolve? As noted,Christ was a Prince of Peace and love. Good start.The hope is in the youth who are more tolerant. If the followers of Islam want acceptance in a modern world they must speak up when Islamic terrorists target , kill and maim the innocent non combatants. Not all of Islam followers are terrorists ,but it seems the vast majority of terrorists in todays world are followers of strict Islamic teaching. How can one not look with a prejudicial eye upon the followers. Thank good ness we have some courageous followers now speaking up.

I have been a great believer in the rule of law and our police to act in upholding the law equally. I am now questioning the law. Especially in TO! The strike by outside workers who trampled upon the rights of fellow citizens as police stood back has given me a very suspicious nature . Some good questions! Lets see the comparisons. Arabs have oil riches beyond anything that Israel could possibly produce. The Arabs have lots of fallow sandy ground. Israel took the same kind of ground and made it bloom with crops. You can visit Israel and can leave when you want. In some Arab states you need permission to leave. Women are free to dress and choose their friends and lovers. Well we know about Sharia law now don`t we! Womens rights in the Arab world,yah right!You can practice any religion in Israel. We know how generous the Arabs are. You can practice Islam 5 times a day and nobody will stop you. Israel has never threatened nor is it part of any Israelie intention to wipe Arabs and their countries off the map and drive Arabs into the sea. Now as to comparing Saddam to Hitler. Both were cruel nut bars. But their intention were the same. Kill all the Jews. Only problem Saddam and the rest of his kith and kin in the middle East,compared to Hitler, the humble Jew was no more. Does Jordan still have Sharia law? Is it still an Islamic state and would a Christian,Jew,Hindu or agnostic still live freely and would an immigrant be allowed to vote if they have elections? Israel unlike most of the middle East has never said, nor tried to wipe out one of it`s neighbours and drive them into the sea. Israel is the most multicultural country in the middle east as far as I can see. Will there be bigots in this grand experiment ? You bet! Just like in Canada. If you were forced to live in the middle east as a Christian,Jew ,Jehovah Witness or as Godless, what country would you choose to live in? Israel would be my choice.

These reports of attacking women by religious nut balls in Israel are very disturbing. To bad there were not a few hard nosed soldiers around to give these guys a thumping. I would say that Muslims have more to fear from Islamists than the Jews. Islamists kill more Muslims than the Jew ever could ,but the Left world seems OK with that .
