I would like China supporters to enlighten us why there is a shortage of women in China? Chinese women seem to be in short supply for young men looking for mates.I know why but I want to hear the apologists for Red China explain it.

What torturing? You mean in Afganistan? The blame lays at the feet of Afgans themselves. It is there country. We are not in charge of their jails nor should we. Our guys risking their lives for some reason capture prisoners . I am surprised they take prisoners with the crap they have to take from some quarters. These terrorists wear no uniform and have some very inventive ideas about prisoners they take. Combat or civilian. Maybe you think we should send more troops to run prisoner of war camps? I don`t consider these creatures prisoners of war. They are terrorists.Period. A prisoner of war wears a uniform of his country and has a regimental number.These are just thugs of the lowest order. Thank goodness we did not have a left wing press in WW2! Some of the things our side did would not pass scrutiny then either. Harper and company will not wear this nonsence. Canadians have no use for terrorist thugs and the things they do to children and the defenceless.The Liberals better find another issue.

One of the things I hate most is excuses for what happened while any party,individual or leader finds excuses for skullduggery while on watch.This was a Liberal scandal because tax payers money was being used to keep Liberal coffers ready for the next election. That was our money people. Money you and I worked for. The Liberal Party accepted dirty money like a gangster. I feel for innocent Libeal MP`s who were smeared by this scandal.But we must recognize who`s watch this was on and be darn angry about it or we encourage more of the same behaviour.

Canadian soldiers are respected once again after the dark years of neglect by our political masters.We can leave Afganistan with our heads held high. We did our duty and beyond as a member of NATO against an enemy that wore no uniform to distinguish themselves. A tough job to be sure. But the light at the end of the tunnel. The French are stepping up ! No ,they are not going to fight. They are willing to train Afganistan troops. What may you ask can the French military teach?Hmmm .

Who ever is chosen ,they should be Monarchy loyalists. A good grasp of history and how our Constitutional Monarchy came about. Barring that, just get a reporter from the CBC.

She never fot one minute explained why she had trouble with social services. I certainly would like a lot more information about her history from authotities. Why is Harper to blame by the way? Any misfortune she may have incountered with the system would be Municipal or Provincial I would assume. Why is she blaming Canada and Harper for any percieved injustice? It has been my experience watching life that CAS is not perfect. But that the system is very reluctant to take a child from the home. I think this Gal is very much a maker of any misfortune she has suffered since she never once explains why ,where and how she finds her self so disenfranchised. Was she doing drugs, leaving her child in dangerous situations? Or something worse? She has public houseing and welfare but she has no appreciation of that safety net that the system has given her.There are too many questions left out of her story and of course the system must protect her privacy and can not defend themselves. Where does she wish to immigrate too that has a better socialistic system. I think this is a person that is looking for sympathy for a plight of her own doing. As Kimmy asks. Why did CAS show up at her door? They must have had some reason.

Wyly , German speaking people have been there forever. But is German an official language of Belgium? I can`t see it because the Germans were hated during the wars so fiercely.

Glad to see somebody gets it! I was speaking to a women who`s home land is Iran about this subject. She told me in no uncertain terms that this tent is a Muslims mans idea of ownership. She said why is it a Muslim man will dress in shorts and short sleeve shirt on a hot blistering day but makes his women folk dress in this tent with a face covering for so called modesty. This is not free choice. Where are the bra burners of yesterday.

What a screw ball idea. I have known guys who were posted in several places during their career but not long enough in one place to get a service medal. They ended up after thirty years with a CD. There will be some hard feelings over this.
