Oleg ,I notice you ignored my post. You have cast me as a minimum wage exploiter without knowing me or my business. I pay top wages to top talented people who in turn make my business sound. In this so called recession ,they will not be laid off or fired. Why is that? Because I am respected in my community and have a solid customer base that I created. I did this without a grade school education. So I have little sympathy for those who want what I have achieved without working for it. Mean while I await your apology for casting aspersions on my character.

First of all you have branded me a person who exploits people at minimum wage. Where did you get that idea from ? Or are you just casting aspersions without proof to argue my case that I do not see any one diligently looking for honest work?? Your Mother must have been a fine and generous soul . But where did she aquire the food to feed the children? It had to be from someones labour. If the communists suppled the food then it was aquired through forced labour.

JB , I give all people the right to peacefull protest. But when protesters put innocent lives in jeopardy they lose that right. Police should have stepped in ,but I believe anarchy was allowed for political votes. Access to Princes Margaret hospital,a great and busy cancer institution was blocked, so was our famous Sick Kids hospital where great things are done for suffering children along with Toronto general and I believe Mount Sinai. Everyone has rights, but not at the cost of others rights. There is no excuse to bring ethnic faraway wars to Canada and put Canadian lives in jeopardy. They gained no sympathy for their cause from me.

Just a quick update. Exciting things happening on the job seekers! Still no one at my door seeking work ,but at least I understand why. Benny has educated them. Benny a quick question. If no one works how does one come about food ? Or is your vision a massive famine?

Sexual orientation should not be a qualifier to any justice department appointment. The question should never be asked nor is it any ones business. Discrimination is a two way street..

Experienced politicians may not be the best choice for Canadians. Ordinary people are usally grounded in practical experience,where those who have been in academia and or life long civil servants are found to be wanting in how the real world of ordinary folks live in..

You seem to have a fantasy that self made people got their money easy. Maybe! Just maybe it was through hard work and risk! Envy is a terrible thing if your not willing to work to achieve.

But you trust the Chinese do you. We know that under Stalin ,20 million were murdered in peace time. We have know idea how many Mao and his crew who still hold power murdered in peace time, but it was murder that made Stalin look like an amateur. I will support a democracy like the USA anytime. At least they can vote out scoundrels. In China you are subjects of the government with the guns. Think about ! Where would you prefer to live? In China where to protest means death or jail without trial ,or the USA where the rule of law still exists much like our own in Canada.

Now you may have something there. My people are very badly treated. All are on salary. If business is slow they can take turns taking time off. If there is sickness or family emergencies all they have to do is let me know and off they go. My top mechanic has been with me since he started his apprentice except for a couple of years when he tried one of the big chains. Yep, I see your point. All my staff are free to venture off to try something new. There is not one I would not hire back.

For those freedom loving people who enjoy our democratic way of life just a quick question. How do you think this freedom and democracy came about? Was it the likes of Pierre Trudeau? He never went to war with his peers. Or was it that nice old guy down the street who hobbles into public view every Nov. 11th ? No ,there are none amongst us who enjoy war. But there are those amongst us who know the evil of man. That we must from time to time stand up to those who would enslave us. Thank goodness for those who keep our peace ,not from just diplomacy but a will and a back bone that when the talking and compromise is done that we are not afraid to take up arms to protect our own freedom ,but that of others less able.

Yep we have to support China ,it`s the only moral thing to do. After all where are we going to get forced organ donations from prisoners. Remember Tinaminen Square ,and all those rowdy students that forced the government to slaughter them! Then there is the jailing of and murder ,um er convictions of the Falun Gong religion! Then of course there is that pesky little island Taiwan ,who practice free elections. We can`t have democracy and freedom for any Chinese now can we. I could go on of course, I could look at the persecutions the history of China, but I am sure the mass slaughters were all for the common good in the great step forward by that beloved Mao chap.

Well I have been into work now for a half hour and it is approaching 7.30 am and still no poor people you speak of at my front door since this thread started. Must be too hungry to get up and seek work.

You echo my life. I hold dear to my property because I earned it through blood sweat and tears. It is mine! I should be allowed to share at my whim ,not by force. I will use what ever legal or moral measures it takes to protect my property and family.

Here is another morning and still no poor people looking for work! Maybe there are no unemployed poor people? From the crying left you would think there would be resumes piled high upon my desk. But not one since this thread started. Where are the poor people?

We reward failure in this country! Shame on Harper and Obama. No business should get loans,prefered tax incentives. Anytime the government does it makes an uneven playing field for competition. I am furious that government even considers bailing out any business and especially when failed CEO`s get bunuses with our tax dollars. SHAME on all who promoted these bail outs.

The Tamils are blocking citizens from getting to our hospitals. My wife took our Grandson for surgery yesterday and because they were late due to these Tamil Tigers his surgery was not for hours later, meanwhile the little guy had to go hungry. I imagine lots of folks missed their cancer treatments too. Why are they getting away with this anarchy? Could it be that because they vote in a block that their percieved ethnic rights are more important than the rest of us individuals trying to go about our business? If we as individuals blocked people from entering our hospitals we would get short shift from the Toronto Cops. Mayor Miller where are you? Why are you not protecting us from these thugs? Oh wait ,I think I answered that earlier! Block voting.

Another morning here at work and still no long line ups of even one unemployed person looking for work! Am I missing something here? Mean while our food bank is looking for donations! Hmmm...

Meanwhile ,I still wait for the unemployed ,poverty stricken ,hungry soul to walk into my office looking for work. My shop is on the main drag of town. Where are all these massive amount of the disenfranchised people? Hmm! Maybe I should be advertising for workers at the beer store? Maybe I have it all wrong thinking they should be coming to me! Hmmm

This a fact, pound for pound ( I still don`t understand kilos) a women is not as strong as a man physically. Now, I do believe women are stronger in the mind than men.

I do not have to get over anything. I was explaining why some of us who come from another era have a different outlook. I come from an era that did not use foul language in front of women . I still hold the door for Gals . I try to be gallant when ever possible. My Mrs. would have it no other way. I am not about to change now just because a crass generation has changed our social rules. Real men know their duty towards women and children. I have the greatest respect for women in the work force or the military. I just don`t believe women in the military should be front line troops.
