I really disagree with this statement. If a guy is going to make babies then he should also assume responsibility for those lives he helps create. A major problem among certain groups right now is absentee fathers who accept no responsibility for their actions. We really don't want to encourage more of that behaviour.

Good points. Unfortunatelly the activist types shriek whenever someone mentions the adoption of a phylosophy of personal responsability. The answer as propounded by them is to just give more, and more, and more. The demands are not only ridiculous but endless as well.

Thats the short answer of what Radical Islam is, understand now? Inroads is the changing of host cultures, the push to adopt Sharia law, you do know what Sharia is don't you? Inroads are made when minority populations feel free to behave any way they wish, always contrary to the accepted norms of the host society. So, you feel these elements are desirable? That being the case, if in fact it is, how bout we give free reign to all religiously based groups to use force to further their agendas? I keep hearing this and frankly it doesn't make much sense. Is the stated contention that NATO and the UN are merely US pawns? If so I do believe that those making such claims are shooting pretty far off target. In fact, the U.N. and the U.S. are hardly best buddies.

Not that you can considering that at various times your claims about the numbers in Residential Schools have been all over the map, from 150,000 on up. Some proof of this please. Actually the truth is that the majority of water problems stem from incompetence, just like Walkerton. A recent report stated that the majority of reserves now have access to good water. Their are still some that need improvement but its a very far cry from your unfounded statement. In fact 300,000,000 dollars have just been approved for continuing improvement and training of plant operators. Many reserves do indeed have enough housing. However if it is not maintained then problems arise. On the blood reserve major work is underway. In my small town you can't rent accomodations to save your life. all of the availlable places are being used to house Natives while their houses are being moved north for renovations. The rental accomodations are being paid for by tax payers. The renovations to the housing and the moving costs are being paid by tax payers. Why are they moving the houses to work on them? Simply because no contractors will work on the reserve due to theft and gang problems. Considering the fact that their food chains are the same as those for the majority of Canadians by your logic we all suffer from the same problem. Once again "all kinds" nothing specific, I guess you could mention building Casino's. In my opinion supplying something as bad or worse than any drug pusher out there. Sure, right. We're doing that by trying to improve their lot in life by all means available short of just giving in to any unfounded and ridiculous demand they make. Why on Earth would I be relieved to know that? Do you comprehend basic English? What I said ( for those of a comprehension challenged nature) was that (here I quote myself) "as I understand" wearing the pin is important. Implied in that statement is an understanding that a firm non wavering comitment must be made and that for many Americans this will be important. At any point did I say that the pin issue was of any importance to me? Did I imply either subtly or overtly that this issue would affect my life or beliefs in any way? Well?
