      Seems to be the trend. Even remakes of things like Magnum and Hawaii Five O are more violent than the originals. I'm becoming more a fan of Brit whodunnits. More plot than mayhem.

      I think it is pretty much on par with things like Rome or The Borgias...which were also 'bloodthirsty' by most standards...a trend going back to 1980's Shogun as near as I can say.

      This 'new' episode was actually the final episode from season 5 by the looks.
