    William, George "Billy" Barker: Canada's most decorated ace. While returning his new "high tech" Sopwith Snipe to the reserve depot, Billy was bounced by up to 60 Fokker D-VIIs (Germany's best aircraft of WW1). He shot down 4 Germans and escaped...though wounded.

      or blind luck. He passed out twice with his Snipe diving towards the ground on both occasions before coming to again, and he escaped by being shot down and surviving the crash. But he did shoot down 3 of the DVII's. But lets not pretend the DVII was seriously outclassed by the snipe.
