You saw it, how did you ever resist? A more interesting topic might be what percentage of government funded programs were in favour of/against the sitting government. Possibly "The Hour" was more than 6% pro-Liberal, give or take 94%.

I don't think Americans are warmongers. I actually admire the US for the sacrifices they've made over the years when no one else would act. It's just that in this point in time, the US is led by a Texas cowboy of little brain who lacks judgment; loves the most powerful man in the world role, but didn't take notes during Spiderman. It's "with superpowers comes great responsibly" not irresponsibility. As far as Iraq goes, the case can be made that removing Saddam was the responsible action to take. But how it was done was terribly irresponsible, short-sighted and dishonorable to the country and its allies. Yes, Canada's military has been a disgrace for years. My dad was in WW2, so believe me I know. Chretien will be remembered for doing nothing, something he did well for around 12 years.

Does anyone know the specifics here? My guess is that the party produced radio spots with room for a 5 or 7 second tag that could be used to promote a local candidate should he or she wish to pay for the placement. Same approach for print advertising. Is this what occurred? And if a local candidate takes out local advertising is it supposed to come out of the national advertising budget?

Um, Harper wasn't PM when we went into Afghanistan. He wasn't PM when we went into Khandahar either. Chreiten actually blames those deaths on Martin's dithering. How many widows and widowers did 911 create? How many toddlers and chidren were killed? Afghanistan isn't Pax-American war,it is a world response to state-sponsored terrorism.
