  1. There is little doubt that you and others like to paint people whom you know little about, with a broad brush of your own pre-conceived notions. Who cares what people want to believe in if it gives them hope, comfort or whatever, who are you to put them down, unless 'they' want it to become the State religion and law - then we have a problem. Differences of opinions, and a voice for all views is what makes us a democracy.
  2. All intelligent people know that don't they (sarcasm here)
  3. Well, it might not be important for convicts if that's is what you mean by cons, I don't know, I doubt convicts would like to be demonized like that or painted with a broad brush you know. However, why should anyone have to pay for someone else's lifestyle choices - it's pretty simple really, if you can't afford to raise kids without leaching from the taxpayers - don't have them. Do the math on that one.. This is just the usual welfare state parasites wanting their "entitlements" you know.
  4. If Dion thinks his 'tax everything' plan will will win votes and influence people he's wrong - Dion's insistence on a Green Tax on top of our allready ridiculous gas and heating fuel prices could isn't likely to win an election. If indeed people like Iggy, and Rae, really do think that bringing down this parliament with their obvious lack of credibility, financial, and policy weaknesses is a plan, then they can go for it... I just hope it's the fall and not the summer, who wants to waste time on elections during good weather. . http://www.willyoubetricked.ca/
  5. I'm going to put this here rather than another thread, cos it's all pretty much the same stuff lately LOL If Dion et al don't pay off their loans as required by the June date, will Elections Canada do anything. I bet not, but if they are not paid off it means that if the money is not paid back, they are over their legal spending limits.
  6. If this isn't the pot calling the kettle black, fortunately for the Liberals Dion isn't giving in to their calls for a snap election. Who wants an election during the summer, Iggy and Rae will have to wait until the Fall. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...mment/Politics/ cont...
  7. Fortunately we have seen lower taxes under the CPC, but we need more now, in order to help bump the economy. Just remember that any policies the CPC introduces, even if they were similar to Liberal policies, are never acceptable unless actually proposed by the Liberlas..
  8. Or the Liberals aren`t playing with a full deck
  9. or just more knee jerk reactions from the Liberals LOL
  10. Just another opportunity for Dobbin to further his agenda and shill for the Liberals LOL - not to mention that the question of whether the Conservatives offered some sort of bribe to Chuck Cadman in 2005 etc. has already been put to rest with the RCMP reporting "no evidence" to support such an allegation. The http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...y/National/home story here seems to confirms that the tape which the Liberals have been using to smear and slander the Conservatives is incomplete and doctored through the deliberate insertion of a sound clip into the tape. the Liberals will now have to answer a serious of serious questions: 1. Did they know the tape was doctored? 2. How long have they been using the tape knowing it was doctored? 3. Who is responsible for this? 4. When will the Liberals apologize for their slanderous attacks and misrepresentation of the Prime Minster, Conservative officials, and the Conservative Party as a whole? expert analysis makes Tom Zytaruk look to the Liberals for source of manipulation http://stevejanke.com/ archives/ 265918.php The analysis of the Cadman tape is pretty damning. So much so that Tom Zytaruk himself is putting some distance between himself and the tape. He tries to draw a distinction between his original tape in his safe, and the digital copy on the Liberal website. Zytaruk points out, rather reasonably, that he can't control what people do with digital recordings that they put on the website.
  11. Well, he obviously has an agenda, he keeps beating many of them to death, to keep it going you know LOL
  12. Nonsense, why would he go - so they can jeer and boo him - really. Why should he show his support for something he or anyone else things is immoral - which by the way, is not being a bigot nor is it hate, and it at least shows some integrity on his part.
  13. It's surprising what a whad of money will do to when writing a book isn't it !
  14. Lukiwski doesn't have to 'do' anything, all he has to do is make sure that he doesn't denigrate gays, which as far as we know he hasn't done since the original scoop and following apology. Why should he have to, they certainly aren't going to vote for him anyway.
  15. Maybe they actually believe it is just a trade pact, and not a conspiracy to merge us all into one country
  16. I'm putting this here as it affects the whole of Canada.. I wonder why nothing was ever done about this, should there be now.. I'm inclined to think there should be an inquiry or whatever, it just might unseat a few bloc MPs and lessen their strength and ability to break up Canada. http://www.canada.com/montrealgazette/colu...b3-f9173dccd00e Referendum fraud one of greatest scandals in our political history Yet none of the institutions we depend on for justice seemed to give a damn NORMAN WEBSTER, The Gazette Published: 6 hours ago
  17. What he said was 'history', not when it was made public... As for a gay pride parade, why should he have to attend something that is often lewd, rude and crude, to put it mildly, - such displays are offensive to many people.
  18. Premier Leslie Frost brought it in, hence the name 'Frost bite', originally 3% I think'. I guess it's a cash cow as is the GST so nobody really wants to get rid of it. It would be nice if it could be at least lowered to 5% then the total tax would only be 10%... a lot better.
  19. Right, but I just might email him and point out his hypocrisy though ...
  20. Pre-meditated murder should be life, without parole (or capital punishment )also if any of the family are found to be culpable for encouraging and egging him on because of some barbaric cultural custom, they should be thrown in jail too. Also, any mosque elders who would attempt to "teach" people to do this - then they should be deported to where they learned such barbaric customs. The significance of this murder is that it is over religion or custom, brought to a chosen country. If people don't agree with the lifestyles and laws of a country they choose to move to, why come in the first place?
  21. I wonder how many of these acts it will take for the western world to realize that these acts will increase unless gov'ts take some action. The U.K. has already said this has happened at least 100 time there. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,358661,00.html Afghan Girl's 'Honor Killing' Sparks Debate in Germany Tuesday, May 27, 2008 U.K. and "honour killings" http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2007-06...orkilling_N.htm
  22. Should there be separate financial systems based on religion? This is a more benign part of Sharia, but a part of it non the less, what's next. Mind you, it doesn't sound half bad, if it's offered for one group, why not for all, no discrimination you know. http://www.ireland.com/newspaper/frontpage...1.html?digest=1 Call for sharia-compliant finance services to be available in Ireland MARY FITZGERALD
  23. hmmm I thought the gov't had no business in the bedrooms of the nation. We don't know if it's a legitimate concern, we don't know anything other than rumours spread by the opposition, should the gov't investigate every rumour on the Hill.
  24. Well yeah, I knew that, but the statement really could apply to the religious discrimination in Canada, which allows publicly funded religious schools (RC ) -
  25. Gee, is this Liberal MP arguing against publicly funded Catholic schools, it could be interpreted that way couldn't it. http://www.nationalpost.com/opinion/story.html?id=547663 ...institutionalized religious discrimination cannot be condoned or tolerated in this day and age. Discriminatory practices, whether they are directed at Roman Catholics or anyone else, are simply incompatible with any nation that ascribes to itself the fundamental values of equality that we hold in such high regard.
