  1. If they are naked in public I agree, not cool, otherwise exactly who do you want putting more clothes on; what would you like to see covered, legs, arms what?
  2. Good point, as Tarek Fatah says, this is a start the Danforth mosque has said it intends to push for more,. https://www.facebook.com/notes/tarek-fatah/loudspeakers-blare-allah-o-akbar-in-toronto-and-mississauga/10163678797390247 https://www.change.org/p/mayor-bonnie-crombie-stop-the-division-of-mississauga-citizens?utm_content=cl_sharecopy_21876866_en-CA%3Av9&recruiter=60060808&recruited_by_id=aaca3760-ecd7-0130-fcaa-0022196d7dd0&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_message&utm_term=psf_combo_share_initial&share_bandit_exp=message-21876866-en-CA&share_bandit_var=v3
  3. Motorcycles are subject to by laws which are usually enforced and not given any preferential treatment, by laws are by laws. and in Toronto it was done through loudspeakers with permission of City Hall. I bet they wouldn`t allow church bells to ring numerous times a day even without a loudspeaker and actually, the Salvation Army is not even allowed to ring their bells loudly at Christmas time - so - why preferential treatment for one religion? Once given the okay you can bet it will gradually be extended. As far as I'm concerned it's noise pollution. As Bill Maher said ok, ass long as the mosque doesn't object to a strip joint and a gay bar opening either side of them.
  4. Right, yet now the Madinah Masjid, at the heart of Toronto’s Greek town along Danforth Avenue is playing the call to prayer but I don`t know if they are given an exemption from by laws or what. I say heart of Greek Town, maybe it isn`t that anymore.
  5. It's in New Jersey, also happening now in Minnesota https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/04/historic-ramadan-call-prayer-echoes-minnesota-city-200424145353618.html
  6. Says it was loud loud music, nothing about bells
  7. The fact that anybody thought the President meant literally inject Lysol is exactly why we have “caution hot” on coffee cups.

Obviously he misspoke but did so in spirit of trying to help. He should have said it better but those erroneously suggesting he was pushing for for bleach/disinfectant to be injected are doing something way worse than what POTUS actually did.

Of course he did!  Poor, misunderstood Trump - always talking and saying things, sometimes even making sense, firing people, threatening people, changing his mind every day - he's only trying to be helpful and MAGA!   If only he could figure out how to shut the FU unless he actually had a clue what he was talking about, there wouldn't be all these unfortunate "misunderstandings" swirling about.

Also, looking forward to your equally understanding tone next time Trudeau "misspeaks".  After all, he's only trying to "help", eh?

Exactly.  It’s why they had to put do not eat warnings on Tide Pods a couple of years ago.

  8. This is the study we want: "The Alberta study will recruit 1,600 participants to determine whether a prescribed five-day treatment of hydroxychloroquine can prevent hospitalization."

  9. So, the N.S. shooter was prohibited from owning weapons/explosives, not a responsible legal gun owner.   A little inconvenient for Trudeau's agenda of disarming Canadians.  Toroonto Star

Liberals have already set gun control in motion, and they will use this crises as a jump off point whether it is popular or not. Nothing will change that fact, they've made up their minds years ago, and are convinced this will be the measure to cure gun violence in Canada. There is no debate on this topic like so many other liberal topics, ...  There are no facts that clearly state that banning these fire arms will do anything to prevent gun violence … except harm those legal fire arm owners.  On a good point , we do know that any measures brought in will be undone by the cons...

Very true, it has nothing to do with public safety, that's just a rather thin excuse. The fact is that their's only one instance recorded of an AR15 being used in the commission of a crime in Canada. That was a great many years ago and it was a gang banger attempting to shoot another gang banger, he missed. This is why Trudeau constantly references the US, he has nothing he can say regarding actual facts in Canada. It's not just AR's though, he want's to ban all center fire semi auto's. In fact the Liberals have even spoken about bolt action rifles equipped with scopes being sniper rifles and suggested that they should be banned too.

Clearly they don’t understand how much of Canada lives in a rural environment where fishing and hunting are the culture.

  10. Nobody has said all should be there, that's Trudeau lying again. he just wants to hide and avoid questions
  11. Who do nothing but spout WHO .. however, most other countries have a Parliament of some sort, no reason why we can't.
  12. That is one thing you can say about Trump for sure, Canadians get nothing but gibberish from the #cowardofthecottage and lies.
  13. Immigrant suburbs explode over lockdown. Riots throughout Parisian suburb of Villeneuve-la-Garenne in France after Macron extends social distancing to fight COVID-19 until May 11, saw a video of this.

  15. He's staying hiding because he doesn't want to answer questions, the same reason he doesn't want Parliament to convene, and he lied this morning as he tried to lay blame on the CPC about opening parliament 3 days/wk which is is not unreasonable (and not all members) No one is asking for a full Parliament everyday. The Liberas Party/Trudeau are trying to limit questions being asked of them by having only 1 day/wk. to avoid accountability. The vote of non confidence has to be when this is over, can't have an election now.
  16. No, half an our or 1.5 hours, it's still breaking the law which we would be fined for doing. Not only that, there are renovations going on at Harrington Lake which means other people are around. Not to mention his mother is living permanently at Harrington Lake so normally doesn't live with him.
  17. Hope this is allowed: Anyone have Crave TV and Amazon Prime? I didn't want to take Crave because I believe I have to watch it on a computer and or hook a laptop up to the TV as I don't have Roku or other box things, I do have a 'smart' TV. However when looking through Amazon Prime I saw a new British series Deadwater Fell which I would love to watch, but, it said to get it with Crave TV. So, does this mean if I get Crave TV I can watch all it's contents via Amazon Prime, or just that one series? thanks
  18. Over the 500 days Kovrig and Spavor have been held hostage in China, Trudeau has barely spoken about these two Canadians. Instead, Trudeau has been shovelling millions of taxpayers money to China in the form of foreign aid. What's going on here?

  19. Trudeau won’t take any questions from the Opposition, so maybe today during his daily presser someone from the media could ask him why he thinks him coming to HOC for 90 min -3 days/week with a minimum number of MPs is asking too much?

Listening to Trudeau, he's trying to lay blame on the CPC about  opening parliament 3 days/wk which is  is not unreasonable. No one is asking for a full Parliament everyday.

The Liberals Party/Trudeau are  trying to limit questions being asked of them by having only 1 day/wk.   Conservatives are standing up for democracy and Canadians.

Trudeau is telling a bold faced lie to Canadians this morning. He’s telling viewers the CPC want full sessions of Parliament with all members present. The CPC have NEVER suggested that; they support the idea of 35-40 members sitting while respecting social distancing. Shameful.

  20. Two wrongs don't make a right. China should be compensating us rather than sending us moldy swabs and crappy masks
  21. Saw that... however, China has an economy worth $13 trillion and has spent billions on a national space program and nuclear weapons but that didn't stop the Trudeau from giving the Chinese communist regime millions in aid money. Why? https://www.blacklocks.ca/gave-41m-in-aid-to-china/ https://tnc.news/2020/04/17/canada-gave-china-41-million-in-aid-in-2019/

  24. DO YOUR D*MN JOB: The Liberal government has had free rein for five weeks, with the Prime Minister being able to duck all criticism and accountability from the safety of his webcam at Rideau Cottage. It is time that was reined in.
