  1. Also this is more about politics and issues between the various Chiefs.. read this...https://www.jlsreport.com/.../16/wolves-in-fancy-blankets/ Terri Tiljoe I see all these posts supporting a few OW Hereditary Chiefs but what I don't see is the Wetsuweten people speaking up about how this office operates. I get it though, I live on Westbank First Nation, I see exactly how opportunities are disbursed based on whether you are "one of them" or "one of us". Luckily, I also lived up in Houston BC and know first hand about the motives of some of the OW Hereditary Chiefs. My husband is the late Larry Tiljoe, a member of the Witset Band, Gilseyhu Clan and Unistoten "family" line. The Tiljoe family have lived and worked, off reserve, in the Houston area their entire lives. Larry's father is Russell Tiljoe, Russell's father was Alex Tiljoe, the late Chief Namox. Larry's mother Elsie, is the granddaughter of Christine Holland, the late Chief Knedebeas. Elsie and Larry both hold trapline rights along the pipeline within Knedebeas territory and the family has a long standing and significant connection to the land in and around Houston and the Knedebeas territories. In 1993, we started a silviculture business, Nadina Mountain Contracting, located within the Morice Forest District. Our goal was to become a sustainable First Nation contractor who harvested, replanted and rejuvenated the areas we harvested. We managed our contracts and ensured their successful completion and established solid working relationships with local forestry industry key players. We employed many people from Moricetown to Burns Lake, both Native and non-Native. We were employed full time managing the land and forest health, building our business. Then the Office of the Wetsuweten of the Hereditary Chiefs came along. cont...
  2. Listened to some CBC news this afternoon so heard from one of the BC Native MLAs , Ellis Ross, who spoke out in favour of the pipeline. He said it brings jobs and prosperity and has allready lifted them above the poverty line. I wish I could find the clip of this but can't find it, maybe it's too early. Meanwhile Trudeau wants us to patient and wait, but he's such a child, now he won't allow Scheer to be part of the cabinet talks.
  3. Why is he talking to the Mohawks, why is he not talking to the minority of hereditary chiefs who are against this. Either way, this is about more than a pipeline, IMO it’s about dominance and infighting between the Chiefs… This is going to bring the country to the brink if Trudeau doesn’t act now as radical s ocialists, Greens, anarchists and wannabes are laying siege to democracy, the rule of law and insulting to the overwhelming support of resource development by indigenous groups. Why are the majority of voices in favour of this not behing heard? https://www.cbc.ca/news/indigenous/chief-meeting-mohawks-1.5466109 In the midt of Saturday's meeting, Wet'suwet'en hereditary Chief Woos, who also goes by the name of Frank Alec, was patched through on a speaker phone. He told the room that the RCMP was still on his territory. "I would suggest to you loud and clear that we want the RCMP out of Gidimt'en territory," said Woos. An audio recording of part of the meeting was leaked to CBC News by a source who attended.
  4. You have to be joking... alleged gossip !! This is part of the problem deflection, denial and coverups allowed this all to go on for years While it is a narrative it's a real one, confirmed over and over again by reports, the first from Rotherham. This is nothing but an attempt to deflect from the atrocities and horrors of 'Asian grooming gangs'... a name also meant to deflect from reality, so let's call them what they are, mostly Muslim rape gangs. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-45918845
  5. Some of these protesters have been bused in across the border, they have their own agendas. Some of them don't even know what's in the pipeline, they think it's oil. This appears to be aimed at disenfranchising the 28 chiefs and 85% of the Wet’suwet’en people who voted for the pipeline.
  6. We like to go on about Trudeau and Marc Miller etc. but seriously, this country is in a world of doo doo. IMO Canada has a gov't that supports radical insurgents in a larger effort to subvert our energy sector so they don't care who they hurt to do it. Canada is in trouble and I don't see Trudeau putting his money where is mouth is when it comes to 'the rule of law' he likes to bang on about.
  7. Some context on Wet’suwet’en in this column. Two hereditary chiefs at the forefront of opposition to the CGL pipeline ran for elected chief of Witset First Nation – and lost Where are the solidarity protests for the majority who support jobs and prosperity, why are their voices not heard. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/article-where-are-the-solidarity-protests-for-the-first-nations-that-support/ The voices of band members from 20 First Nations along the Coastal GasLink project route who want it to continue – those who have indicated, through elections or other means, that they want construction on the natural gas pipeline to move ahead – have been eclipsed by the views of a small group of Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs, who hold jurisdiction over just a portion of the land the pipeline will cover.
  8. The point is, they don't recognize the Charter or our laws, they say they never ceded the land, it is their land so we are trespassing as their laws supercede ours. this needs to be addressed once and for all.
  9. How fast would Trudeau move if protesters were blocking a pride parade or one of his glitter ops.

I have no doubt he'd be right in there if it was a pride parade. Sans shirt, of course. Maybe a bow tie...

  10. Heard a Native activist today who says more or less, they do not recognize the Charter or our laws, their laws supercede them, we are on their land, they never ceded it, we are breaking their laws. Don't know what the answer is to that, but I'm pretty sure it would get violent if we used force.
  11. The Department of Canadian Heritage is paying newsrooms to write climate change stories. Subsidies paid to publishers under a $50 million Local Journalism Initiative were intended for strictly local coverage of courts, councils and school boards “where there is nothing at the moment”, the department had claimed. https://www.blacklocks.ca/govt-pays-for-climate-news/
  12. You can't make this up : Swedish Interior Minister says migrant robbers pee on their victims because they feel hopelessness

  13. All countries at some time or another have been taken over by others , we cannot go back in time nor are we going to leave. |We cannot, nor should we have to continue paying people based on race, to live on unsustainable reservations in perpetuity. It’s time to end the Indian Act now, as Chretien and Trudeau Sr. wanted. ( see Chretien’s White Paper on Aboriginals). Is time to end race based preferential treatment. The days of roaming buffalo are over, Natives need to have a vision for life as it exists today and within the system that exists today. There are avenues they can take but many choose the path of total and complete dependency on remote, unsustainable reservations. There are some reserves that can only be reached by plane. Those living in remote, desolate areas have little chance of overcoming this dependency as long as they choose to stay. IMO we should be paying to move them to another location with counseling, skills training or whatever it takes to help them be successful. Diane Francis has a good article https://business.financialpost.com/diane-francis/diane-francis-rail-blockades-could-turn-into-a-full-blown-secession-crisis-and-trudeaus-government-is-to-blame Five years of pandering and subsidizing 632 First Nations leaders has led to this catastrophe, which is being spearheaded by five unelected hereditary chiefs in British Columbia who claim their nation — the Wet’suwet’en — is exempt from Canadian laws and regulations. They claim sovereignty over a 22,000-square-kilometre swath of land, an area the size of Israel, and have successfully invoked nationwide solidarity protests that have crippled portions of the country’s rail system. Wet’suwet’en hereditary leaders and their accomplices have defied court orders and ignored agreements signed by 20 band councils, including their own. The issue at hand is the building of a 670-kilometre gas pipeline to a $40-billion LNG plant on the coast, but at stake is the future of Canada itself.
  14. He isn't running, but does he need 'cleaning up'
  15. I did just that LOL, Wet’suwet’en Nation member Shirley Wilson supports #CoastalGasLink If you cut through the doublespeak and media obfuscation, all the protests and blockades are based on the opposition of five people - 5, Five unelected Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs Vs the rights of 37 million Cdns. Canada is a joke, Trudeau is a joke. Meanwhile The President of Senegal announced that Justin Trudeau is helping Senegal develop its industries “du pétrole, du gaz ... “
  16. Upon de-planing in Munich, Trudeau gave a short statement on protests in Canada: “We’re a country of the rule of law and we need to make sure those laws are followed.” Yeah really, bet he doesn't lift a finger to stop the protests. This issue is already settled as consultation and consent has been gained from all 20 First Nations impacted. This a minority of extremists having a criminal temper tantrum and its time to enforce the law.
  17. Alliance director Chief Dan George on the Rob Breakenridge radio show in Calgary: “As an elected official, my job is to listen to my people and they wanted this - 80% voted for LNG.” Listen to the podcast here: http://ow.ly/bXWt50yk1Dn Wet'suwet'en Chief Dan George makes a very interesting point. The offices of the hereditary chiefs opposing the Coastal Gas Link pipeline is heated with natural gas from the Pacific Northern Gas pipeline. They seem to have no problem with the "fracked gas" from that pipeline. https://omny.fm/shows/afternoons-with-rob-breakenridge/why-we-also-need-to-listen-to-first-nations-who-su
  18. PMJT's press conference with Senegalese President Macky Sall yesterday makes front-page news in Dakar, over Sall's affirmation that he doesn't plan to legalize homosexuality. Sall also said Senegal would not accept "gay parades," either. Trudeau did not respond.  Wonder how much money Senegal got for equality and so on.  Glenn MacGregor.

  19. Pandering merely enables and empowers these group as a weak gov't creates a vacuum which nature abhors. If you're nice to the cannibals they might eat you last. The question to me is: were all these blockades coordinated to be when Trudeau was on holiday/business in Africa and was the apathy of the RCMP equally coordinated? National chaos and collapse is the globalist agenda.
  20. Mobocracy is not democracy, upholding the rule of law that Trudeau likes to bang on about is in the best interests of Canadians. bit that apparently doesn't apply to some where race based preferential treatment is the order of the day. There were consultations, 20 elected Chiefs agree with it, they want jobs and prosperity for their people , those protesting are only one band the Unist'ot'en who I suppose, don't want prosperity and jobs. the real views of the nation are not often reported by the MSM https://www.spencerfernando.com/2020/02/10/watch-wetsuweten-nation-member-supports-coastal-gaslink-pipeline-says-many-protesters-are-from-outside-community-from-united-states/?fbclid=IwAR29Zq9fbRvXqpRtM4bAYdecSL6e3ro3QvnzVX4SIcgu4toQ5lmSUUCY0-4https://www.spencerfernando.com/2020/02/10/watch-wetsuweten-nation-member-supports-coastal-gaslink-pipeline-says-many-protesters-are-from-outside-community-from-united-states/?fbclid=IwAR29Zq9fbRvXqpRtM4bAYdecSL6e3ro3QvnzVX4SIcgu4toQ5lmSUUCY0-4
  21. A horrifying video of an Afghan woman cowering in a hole as she is stoned to death by a furious crowd shouting 'hit her' and 'Allahu Akbar' is being investigated by rights group Although stoning is illegal under the Afghan constitution, it is seen as a legitimate punishment under the Taliban's extreme laws; the powers that be are blaming it on the Taliban who say it is from 2015. Https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7964797/amp/Rights-group-investigates-horrifying-video-Afghan-woman.html Meanwhile in the U.K. students are being taught by an Imam about the 5 pillars of Islam, so I'm wondering how much time they spend teaching about other religions. I've seen articles about U.K. students taken to a Mosque but I haven't seen anything about Muslim students being taken to a Church. https://www.knutsfordguardian.co.uk/news/18215225.bexton-pupils-learn-five-pillars-islam/?ref=twtrec

  24. In Canada, polygamy is against the criminal law. Section 293(1) of the Criminal Code makes it a criminal offence to enter into a conjugal union with more than one person at the same time. Nonetheless, the Ontario Family Law Act recognizes wives in polygamous marriages as spouses, providing the marriages were conducted legally under Islamic law abroad. http://www.wluml.org/node/4422 Polygamous Muslims in Ontario receive benefits, although polygamy is officially illegal in Canada. An abuse of the welfare system by GTA [Greater Toronto Area, ed.] Muslim men allowed to live in polygamous marriages under a controversial Ontario law was met with shock and outrage yesterday. Politicians and the public reacted angrily to an exclusive story in yesterday's Toronto Sun about how the men collected social benefits for up to four wives. Mumtaz Ali, president of the Canadian Society of Muslims, said hundreds of members of his community in polygamous marriages have been collecting welfare for some time. The CBC 5th Estate did a piece on polygamy https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/polygamy-canadian-muslim-community-1.4971971
