Exactly. They would prefer to believe the bias and anonymous sources. Either way I'm pleased that the gov't is looking our for our safety.

Or blowing up in the media's face for misreporting again. The G & M has had to correct the story 3 times so far.

Media report alleging refugees vetted by PMO is false, another fake story eaten up by the left.

Not sure what any of that means . This one I think, the one who wanted to lower requirements for OAS. http://www.thestar.com/news/investigations/2009/05/05/ruby_dhallas_nanny_trouble.html

It really is, there was a story about it a while ago which sounded as if it was more to do with a shifty character Harbhajan Singh ,known in the Punjabi community as Comrade, a nickname that seems to stem from his time in India with the Communist party. He was involved with ex MP Karygiannis at one time as a 'community organizer' who went out and collected donations for a candidate. I don't know why people needed to go through him or why they couldn't donate themselves. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/2-men-conflict-over-donation-made-to-conservatives-1.3208189 Earlier this week, the Conservatives told CBC News that Harbhajan Singh had no role with their campaign and they are investigating other donations involving him. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2015/08/26/parm-gill-jagdish-singh-liberal-conservative-donations_n_8044480.html Conservative spokesperson Stephen Lecce told HuffPost in an email that the Brampton North EDA received a request from Jagdish Singh to refund a donation in August 2015 and "the donation in question was immediately refunded." "The EDA is currently investigating whether there are other donations involving Harbajhan Singh," Lecce said in the email. "Harbajhan Singh has no role on the campaign."

candidate removed for anti gay position
scribblet replied to Rue's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This NDP candidate Harbaljit Singh Kahlon apologized and is staying on, maybe the CPC candidate should've just apologized too. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2015/10/07/brampton-east-ndp-candidate-apologizes-for-former-views-on-gay-marriage.html -
No point in replying anymore to all these different posters saying the same thing. Having said that, Bruce Gorcya served time as actual news articles show, the charges that were dismissed where different charges laid after that and they were dismissed because of not being timely then were re-issued. That is why he fled to Canada. I'm not the one spreading false information who doesn't seem to know who the PM is or when, but keep it up, no one believes it anyway.

Right, it was quite a shock which they have never gotten over. It seems that they have been brainwashed to think that everything left wing is good and everything right wing is bad. They live in a fantasy world where government spending is called "investments" and tax cuts are called spending. Promised Liberal deficits are now seen as building the country while spending cuts are robbing the future. It's a topsy-turvy world that they live in. Unable to accept a Conservative win they scream out their hatred for anyone who questions their beliefs. The term Harper derangement syndrome often fits because there is no rationale for it. Harper and the Conservatives challenge their belief system and they have no way of responding except with hatred.

Links to your own posts on reddit or elsewhere do not make it so. Who said "we are morally obligated to kill people who don't agree with us " source please, and not your own posts/blogs. I've posted this before but will do so again http://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/man-of-letters-6364306 Future recipients of Gorcyca's HIV letter can only hope his volunteers are more careful than he was when he registered his company with the State of Florida. The organization promotes itself as a nonprofit corporation, but state records show it to be a for-profit enterprise that offers stock. Gorcyca's criminal record, too, might raise a few eyebrows. He spent three years in federal prison and was twice tried on forgery and other felony charges. In 1984 he pleaded guilty to federal charges of accepting a bribe while an IRS agent (he insists he was innocent) and was sentenced to five years at the federal prison camp at Eglin Air Force Base in http://www.nytimes.com/1999/07/17/business/sec-civil-suit-says-faxes-about-12-stocks-were-false.html "Mr. DiMarco, who used to be known as Bruce Gorcyca, is a former Internal Revenue Service agent who served more than three years in prison in the 1980's after pleading guilty to bribing a public official and making fraudulent statements to the I.R.S." https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=sites&srcid=ZGVmYXVsdGRvbWFpbnxzY2Ftd2F0Y2hpbmd8Z3g6NjViMDY3OWY1OTExZGZlYQ and again http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=a8M31WP_schY Feb. 7 (Bloomberg) -- A Miami man who was charged with fraud in 1999 for sending out stock-touting faxes lost a bid to block his extradition to the U.S. from Canada. Bruce Gorcyca's challenge to an extradition order issued in 2004 by Canada's Minister of Justice was dismissed today by the Ontario Court of Appeal, the province's highest court. Gorcyca can still appeal to Canada's Supreme Court.

How is Trudeau Going to Pay for all His Promises?

The liberals bring out the gun control dog whistle.
scribblet replied to poochy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Exactly. Targeting hunters and legal gun owners won't stop anything. At least Mulcair has said he won't bring back the registry. -
Cheating Chinese Jack UP House Prices while paying no Taxes
scribblet replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I didn't mean that they could not have paid for it. If a Canadian buys a second home then there is a capital gains tax involved, if a 'foreigner' buys a home in Canada for an investment they should have to pay capital gains when sold - if they allready own a home elsewhere. -
How is Trudeau Going to Pay for all His Promises?
scribblet replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Indeed we will, especially seniors who are now benefiting from the senior's income splitting which I understand Trudeau will remove although I haven't confirmed that. Add about another thousand in additional taxes such as carbon taxes and we are screwed. -
Accommodating Religion in the Workplace
scribblet replied to Boges's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
No religion should trump women's rights and the outcome was a good one IMO http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/york-university-professor-who-refused-students-request-to-be-separated-from-female-classmates-broke-obligation-to-accommodate-officials Mr. Grayson’s colleagues appeared to agree. At an October departmental meeting they passed a resolution forbidding any religious accommodations that contributed to the “marginalizations of other students, faculty or teaching assistants.” After getting wind of the resolution — as well as Mr. Grayson’s stated refusal to honour his accommodation — the student cheerfully backed off. -
Cheating Chinese Jack UP House Prices while paying no Taxes
scribblet replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
That's what I thought too, although it wouldn't in the interests of any gov't to bring house prices crashing down. One thing they can do is enforce a capital gains tax on houses owned by 'foreigners' which are deemed to be second homes as it's more than likely they own a first home in their homeland. Not sure how owning a first home could be confirmed but it might put the brakes on buying homes as an investment. -
candidate removed for anti gay position
scribblet replied to Rue's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
PC gone amuk, surely people are allowed to have opinions so shouldn't the voters be the judge? This is a new electoral district but the 2011 results applied to the new boundaries would have resulted in a Conservative win so this looks like a winnable riding has likely been handed to the Liberals. I heard him on CFRB last night talking to Joe Warmington. According to the candidate the original was written a while ago in his native language but was interpreted incorrectly He says he is going to see a lawyer and might run as an independent. It would be interesting to get a full interpretation of what he said. Either way, it seems activists from all sides are digging up dirt from a long time ago and apparently using programs to unearth caches and past content. -
Again, all stuff written by you or your cohorts, presenting your own writing as fact does not make it so. The only proof you have presented is that Bruce Gorcya advertised to donate organs, there is no proof whatsoever that any Canadian gov't stopped this. Please provide verifiable links, not your own blogs and forum posts. Screen Shot No. 1,457

Linking to your own (or a cohort's) posting on another forum about Bruce Gorcya is not verification or fact.

Subway in some UK locations serve Halal and have banned pork as have some schools in London, and in France - well http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/11893704/French-school-makes-Muslims-and-Jews-wear-red-discs.html Why can't people make their own decisions about what to eat, no need to deprive other people of something because some don't want it. -

I could say the same of the garbage some of our resident 'left wingers' post here. I'm not suggesting that long time MLW residents be swept up or even close, just the recent spate of new posters all posting about the same conspiracy theory and all of them giving the same links. The very least the mods could do is to put them all in one area.. you know one big conspiracy theory thread where they can all talk to each other and give each the same links each time.- 1,890 replies

What improvements would you like to see in this discussion forum?
scribblet replied to Greg's topic in Support and Questions
You want kooky... take a look at a sample here, all these topics started by the 'group' of people currently trolling/spamming the forum, it doesn't include topics they've hijacked with the same kooky conspiracy theories and links. Links all written by the same person but put forward as 'facts', links which contain dates and names that don't match up, all of them lead to the same scam artist who defrauded people out of millions. The moderators twist themselves into pretzels trying to explain how a topic should be started or discussed but yet - they allow this. Again for the record, another forum has booted them all, and says: http://forums.canadiancontent.net/canadian-politics/137993-who-censored-my-thread-harper.html #10Re: Who censored my thread on Harper subverting refugee claims? 3 days ago Quote: Originally Posted by Locutus View Post and doesn't it turn out this spastic crybaby had a duplicate account too. quel dommage. ** Account traced back to Liberal office in Mississauga ** I guess he is getting better at hiding his IP address... http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/25084-stephen-harper-needs-to-define-his-true-position-on-torture/ http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/24968-pm-steven-harper-cannot-hide-9-year-old-corruption-secrets-of-1b/ http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/25055-harper-blocked-visas-for-iraqi-kids-to-get-organ-transplants/ http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/24998-will-harper-unseal-terry-nelson-court-files-to-expose-drug-corruption/ http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/25074-pm-stephen-harper-no-friend-of-democracy-heres-the-proof/ http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/25012-should-pols-be-prosecuted-for-old-crimes-they-hid-from-us/ http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/24962-harper-let-us-government-swindle-canadian-investors-out-of-43-million/ http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/24976-book-manuscripts-seized-by-american-government-possible-in-canada/- 1,890 replies
