Surprised no one is talking about the Edmonton police officer who was shot and killed this week. Is it because his killer was white and a libertarian?

I haven't seen anyone calling him a "thug" either. But "thug" isn't coded racism.

Lots of ppl talking. Lots of coverage. It's a sad enough event without denigrating it into a race isue.
