  1. ...if the world ends, how would you be able to say 'I told you so'?
  2. Something occurred to me. Since you believe in the Christian God so deeply, why not let God to decide whether you will survive or not? Simply take the person off life support and see what God decides. In my opinion, the decision should be made by doctors and judges. When it becomes clear that the individual in a vegetative state has no sign of activity in the region of gray matter and no prospect of regaining activity - then the person should die in a dignified manner. Hence, by euthanasia.
  3. I agree its a huge money maker but it should be treated as a last minute bonus cash flow, not a life-jacket. If a company has to rely so heavily on Christmas to make it through the fiscal year, something is seriously wrong with it.
  4. I don't understand the logic of anti-racist equating to anti-white.
  5. You've been here since 2005 (7 years) and now you're wondering?
  6. The Christians joy of 20 children being massacred? Okay...
  7. Nothing, you need listen to what they have to say. They need someone to talk to and to discuss their feelings of whats going on.
  8. Police in Alabama killed two suspects Saturday following separate shooting incidents 120 kilometres apart that left three other people dead and several injured, including two officers. Authorities said Jason Letts, 38, of Jemison opened fire early Saturday morning at a hospital in Birmingham, wounding a police officer and two employees before being shot and killed by another officer. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2012/12/15/alabama-hospital-shooting.html

  11. Last year Great Britain: 1 per 7,830,125 people died from gun shots. U.S: 1 per 29,044 people died from gun shots. Britain has one of the strictest gun laws in the world, while the US has one of the most lax gun laws internationally.
  12. Cultures undergoes changes all the time, what are you talking about?
  13. The opposite of what you don't say to a grieving parent.
  14. During the shoot-out, the media in the area were rushing to photograph children and/or get an interview from them during the state of hysteria. Are such horrific events becoming commercialized?

I think the gunman should have left the kids alone. I think religious but bars should leave kids alone. I think pervert priests should leave the kids alone..... The media doesn't concern me as much.

Nuts are going to do what they're going to do, but in a time of unfathomable trauma for those kids, they shouldn't be subjected to having a mic thrust in their faces during and immediately following the event.

  15. I don't see how they cannot be crazy.
  16. I don't see how the argument for music and decline of religion resulting in increase gun violence can be valid...
  17. I guess the parrot was supposed to say 'cri' instead of 'squawk'.
  18. That because the therapy is bogus and doesn't do anything! It takes advantage of those who needs true counseling.
  19. Media sensation, bad news sells better than good news.
  20. From CBC archives Here are some cases that have attracted the interest of the language watchdog or people seeking to protect the French language: 1996: A woman warns the owner of a Quebec pet store she might get in touch with language authorities because Peekaboo, the parrot she wanted to buy, didn't speak French. 1999: The Old Navy chain is asked to rename its stores "La Vieille Rivière." It never happens. 2000: The owner of an Indian restaurant is told he's breaking the law by having coasters for "Double Diamond," a British beer. 2001: Some people express disappointment that race-car driver Jacques Villeneuve calls his restaurant "Newtown." 2005: Language authorities say they will investigate complaints that Montreal Mayor Gérald Tremblay's party used the word "Go" on its campaign posters and pamphlets, as in "Go Montreal." 2007: Imperial Oil says it will keep its Quebec-only "Marché Express" name for its Esso gas stations after protests against a proposal to change the name to "On the Run," as the stations are known elsewhere in North America. 2007: Language activists decry that callers to many Quebec government offices are told to "press nine" for English before instructions are delivered in French. Some of the departments have since changed the message to put English at the end.
  21. I still think negative(and neutral) peer pressure that affects the way they grow up with the idea of a 'perfect family'. Examples shown in T.V shows, magazines, books, guilt trip by parents to date the opposite sex, etc.
  22. Do you know what persecution means?
  23. lol..... >_>
  24. Shooting in U.S schools will become normal events in the future, that's what I think.
