There are better ways to raise issues that plague first nation communities then to retort to illegal tactics to disrupt Canada which will only fuel hostilities from the general public.

You're jumping ahead of yourself by 150 steps, try to think these things rationally without being highly sensitive.
-
You asked if calling us whites is ok, since you're white yourself (if that avatar is you) - ask yourself that question.
-
If you want to call yourself white, sure.

Typical reaction. Changing the direction of the argument to avoid addressing the original argument of the said topic.

Check out this report. http://www.attawapis...xpenditures.pdf Spence's salary is over $71,337 to look after 2,800 people or $25.48 a person. Harper's salary is $0.009 a person. Now what is wrong with this picture?
-
Good god, I hope you're not seriously asking that....

You seem to be the one with no idea what's going on in your own backyard. The reason I say that is because you keep dredging out numerous issues that is irrelevant to 'Idle No More' movement. Said the person who called the reserve a place where 'people live in the bush'.

For some reason, some of them don't want to move on and look towards the future.
-
That's probably because the current constitution was established long after the activities of residential schools?

http://ca.news.yahoo...-201047085.html The lists of Spence's critics are growing more and more each passing day. ---------- Quote- "In a column published on Wednesday, the Calgary Herald editorial board accused Spence of "blackmailing" Stephen Harper: "The threat of suicide is always ill advised or rooted in selfishness. In the regrettable case of Theresa Spence, it appears to be a case of both. "Apart from Spence’s inexcusable blackmailing of the prime minister, it’s evident she’s unreasonable. Aboriginal Affairs Minister John Duncan has expressed a willingness to meet with Spence, but he’s been rebuffed." Last week, the National Post's Christie Blatchford caused an online stir for using the word "terrorism" when writing about Spence's hunger strike: "Chief Spence has parked herself on an island in the Ottawa River, is on Day 17 of a hunger strike, and all around her, the inevitable cycle of hideous puffery and horse manure that usually accompanies native protests swirls. It is tempting to see the action as one of intimidation, if not terrorism: She is, after all, holding the state hostage to vaguely articulated demands." And then there's 's Ezra Levant. While he is often controversial, you've got to give him credit here for doing his homework: "I started looking into Attawapiskat's situation. Attawapiskat is a small town in Northern Ontario. About 1500 people living 300 homes. But they have 3 chiefs on the payroll, 18 councillors on the payroll — that's 21 full-time politicians. "Did you know that in the middle of the so-called housing crisis where they need more money that Chief Theresa and the band has $9 million stock portfolio...Attiwapiskat has $9 million [in stocks] - like in Apple, in China Mobile, in Banks. Maybe if you have a housing crisis you sell a few stocks." A 'blackmailer,' a 'terrorist' and essentially a selfish chief?" -End Quote ----------

1) The parliament treats everyone equally. 2) The charter of rights and freedoms applies to ALL Canadians. 3) The natives issues are clear, but you're barking up the wrong tree with your style of argument.
-
Try using legal techniques when protesting to shake of the 'terrorist' tag. Hardly. John Duncan is the minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development - of course he has authority. Looks to me the other side is antagonizing the situation unnecessarily.

Exactly what year was the time of Noah? 50,000 BC?

It's clear to me you have no idea what you're talking about. You're sprouting out stuff that has nothing to do with today's issues. People are, I don't see what you're trying to say.

lol @ the protesters blockading at CPR railways across Canada without blocking any actual trains.

Get a small cottage in the mountain and enjoy what nature has to offer, along with WiFi of course

That's the point, she's not on a hunger strike.

Multiculturalism is here to stay, countries that has yet to embrace multiculturalism will find themselves forced to do so. Umm no, multiculturalism is all about bringing different cultures together and coexisting with each other. As opposed to what? the hot and tropical land that was before the settlers arrived in Canada?

Good question plus getting two of every creature to permit them to procreate later on is a bad idea.

Idle No More movement faces internal struggles
Sleipnir posted a topic in Federal Politics in Canada
OTTAWA — In a matter of weeks, a series of teach-ins on a small Saskatchewan reserve took on a life of their own — becoming a nationwide aboriginal protest movement. But now it appears the rapidly growing Idle No More movement is experiencing its first real growing pains. On Monday, the founders of Idle No More issued a statement distancing themselves from native chiefs who claim to be acting on behalf of the campaign. “The Chiefs have called for action and anyone who chooses can join with them, however this is not part of the Idle No More movement as the vision of this grassroots movement does not coincide with the visions of the Leadership,” said the statement, released on Idle No More’s official website. As long as theresa is consuming those liquid and remains hydrated, she can last for months.

How is that exciting? Are you behind on the times? We've known about the flooding in the black sea regions for quite some time now.
