LMFAO Six Nations should be thankful they recieve ANY taxes back. Just because they collect it does not mean it goes back to them to get distributed amongst the people. Are you really so dense? If you could prove that all of the taxes collected came from Natives and only Natives I might agree with you about them not getting it all back, but since Natives don't pay taxes we can only conclude that those taxes collected came from Non-natives who do pay taxes. Therefore since the taxes were paid by non-natives why should the money go back to Natives? If the money was collect from non-natives than it would stand to reason that it is their communites who should receive the transfer payments and not the reserves. As for clean water and other infrastructure I suggest you look at the people who are supposed to be taking care of that kind of thing. Like say the Band Council. You want to talk underfunded? Find me a municipality that isn't underfunded. Everyone is underfunded. That is perhaps the one area where reserves and the rest of Canadian municipalities are equal. But wait, Municipalities, collect land taxes to make up for the underfunding. Hmmm.... The deeper we get into this the more it looks like the natives have f*cked it up for themselves with their isolationist ways. Natives living off reserves that I know have clean water and plowed streets. I wonder why? Oh right, they joined society instead of hating it from behind the boundaries of the reserves. Buddy you are about the biggest racist here, proclaiming that because of race, one group of people is more deserving than another. That is the essence of racism. Wanting equality for all, regardless of race, is the opposite of racism. Maybe someday you will be able to recognize this, but I won't ever bet on it.

Just another example of CPC "Integrity". A few thousand here, a few thousand there, a million or two on occassion. Given enough rope and it won't matter who the LPC have in charge, the CPC will hang themselves and be turfed.

Let me use a sledge hammer to try and drill this into your overly thick cranium. The taxes off reserve natives pay goes to their own communities. It is not put aside in some seperate account to be handed over to the reserves. Their taxes are part of what each province and municipality gets back in transfer payments to keep their water clean, their roads plowed and for other general maintainence and local projects. The taxes you refered to in the other thread were sales taxes collected by the Native company for the Govt. No company gets to keep the taxes on goods and services they provide. It doesn't matter if the company is run by a Native or Ikkbar straight off the boat from Saudi Arabia. The company is a collector and nothing more. Time to get off the propaganda pipe my friend. The whole friggin thing is a mess. From top to bottom.Land claims to leadership. They need to get off the reserves and become part of society. This one action would destroy the power of the band leaders. If they choose to segregate themselves from society and live off the taxpayer's dime then they get what they have. Natives need to start making changes on their own. If they have corrupt leadership, try blockading a few roads into the reserve. Or the the street that the leader lives on. They seem to think it is perfectly OK to blockade roads outside of reserves to achieve their goals, so why not pull the same tactic within their communities?

Proven? No, not yet. Accused? Most definitly. Bottom line is their actions involve taxpayer's money and possibly something illegal. When has the CPC ever needed proof to railroad any other policitian? All they need is a sniff of something wrong and they jump all over it. Too bad for you that in the public eye, you are guilty until proven innocent. Now that the shoe is on the other foot it is too late for the CPC to start crying foul about how the game is played when they were the ones who helped make up the rules. Arrogant it may be, but it is a correct statement. Everyone is entitled to their entitlements.

I know a ton of people who vote Liberal whose families have been in this country a lot longer than yours or Argus' likely have. I know my family can trace it roots back to the 1700's in this country, and several of them vote Liberal. My friend's family has been living on the same piece of land north of Toronto since 1850 and they vote Liberal. So as for Argus' statement being factual, it is not. As for the comment of "real canadians vote Tory" it is total and complete Road Apples. ( I can send you some of those aswell.)
