Unreal. My fiance comes back from work today with a story. I swear to God and my Grandmohter's grave this is true. Get this: My fiance's, cowokers, friend is from Guyana. This guy's father around 70 years old from Guyana got robbed. He got robbed and beaten down and his money taken. He has a black eye and cuts (some will know what's goign on). So get this. The son went to Guyana, and is on a plane back from Guyana with his ailing, sick, elderly Dad and will be claiming REFUGEE STATUS!! There's a suprise! The son said that he's trying to "get him in a hospital here in Canada to take care of him" and he does't want his old Dad living in a country like Gyuana anymore because it's unsafe and dangerouse (laughs..). I don't really expect the majority of people here to know what's really going on in this matter, but I just want people to know that this very same story happens on a daily basis here in Canada. When you wonder why our healthcare system is unsastainable, you only have to know this one fact: any service that is providing more than people are paying into it will fail. Read the above 20 times and maybe you'll get this fact.

More Idealism. I dont care the reason why. Arar's hardships and duties in his born country is not our concern here in Canada. Yet, we've allowed him to exploit our system and become our problem. It's not Saturn, what do we do with the waste? Nuclear is the ultimate passing of the buck to future generations. Can't we just shoot the old nuclear waste in a rocket up to space.. maybe towards the sun? I said white collar welfare. Those are gov't jobs. I am from Ottawa as of 2.5 years ago now residing in the GTA. I worked at the Department of National defence. I can tell you that all these gov't jobs are white collar welfare. We did absolutely nothing but take tax payers money. We came to work at 8:45am. Went to tim hortons from 9:30 - 10:30 for a morning break. We went to to lunch at 11:50 - 1:15. Went hom at 3:30 pm or when we felt like it. From wed onwards in afternoons it was very commong to see most of the floors empty becuase everyone went home. All the gov't buildings I was in were like this. Health Canada is amongst the worst. It's a HUGE building.. probably the biggest of all federal gov't buildings. It's unreal the waste in that place. My ex was a co-op there from Vancouver. She had the same hours as me and pretty much did nothing all day there but talk on the phone with me. This level of gov't needs to be taken away. But saying it and doing it is 2 different things. Let the provinces handle it and realize they can't provide service to their citizens which will violate laws.

I justed wanted to note again that I was right amist the allegations of anti Jewish remarks from people at the convetion. Here's what I said: "There were lots of things that went on at the convention like buttons being passed out, Dion greeting people at the top of an elevator to get in.
