Our Incompetent Federal Bureaucracy
mikedavid00 replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
lol.. Last census I got I put it ontop of the fridge and found it a year later when cleaning the house. I didn't fill it out. I was too busy working and getting stuff done to fill it out. -
Our Incompetent Federal Bureaucracy
mikedavid00 replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yes. I've said this over and over that we have a massive amount of illegals and I forcasted about 20,000 a year. People just laughed at me. But this doesn't suprise me in the least. It's just something that I already 'know'. Yes I can name 3 people I know of that are in the country illegally. They are everwhere here. The difference is that they have SIN cards and can work unlike the illegal Mexicans. That goes without saying. No suprises for me. Almost everyone here is faking papers and English tests to get in. I've pointed this out in many, many other of my posts. Geoffery would still like to believe that many of these people own businesses and want lower taxes. Yes.. maybe 0.8% of them. People are coming here to live, not work. Again I pointed out a report from the Frasier institute which proved that immigration is having a devistating effect on our welfare state and health services. I've proved this in other posts. Immigration is litteraly bankrupting our country slowly over time. In 10 years we simply won't be able to sustain the people we're letting in . 800,000 are waiting to come here. We do NOT have jobs for these poeple. Oh wait.. we do, they just refuse to work them. I would say that we spend about 70B-100B a year to foster immigrants into Canada. Yes that's right. This is when accounting for schooling, infrastructer, and healtchcare. People are only lookin at welfare alone. Amen. We ned labor workers. We need non-skilled laborers on work permits. We don't need third world Univeristy intillectuals who feel they are entitled to the highest paying white collar jobs. Yes. Jobs that Canada DOES NOT HAVE for even Canadians. You live in Canada. You have no say. Go vote, you will only get the same. This country is corrupt, broken, and out of control. I'm regretting living here daily and would love to leave to the US where I can become a citizen and take part in voting on how my tax dollars are spent. No one can say the sentence 'Canada is a great country' without either lying or feeling akwarrd saying it. Canada is not a great country and it's not a country to be proud of. Why? Not because of politicians, immigration, policy, and the civil service. But simply because we let our own citizens die on waiting lists. Oh yeah, all the above ARE directly involved. So yeah.. our country DOES really suck. -
Which group has control over the election?
mikedavid00 replied to Topaz's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I completely disagree ona all your points. Immigrants want weak immigation and more handouts; not lower taxes. But I don't expect a working Canadian such as yourself to understand what's foremost important to immigrants. And calling many immigrants business owners and fiscally conservative? Lol.. more than half are living in poverty despite them being here for 5 years. I pointed many of these things out in other posts. They want sponsorship, handouts, and more services. They are only conservative when it comes to their families and religion: ie: "My daughter may not marry a Canadian because he's not from our ethnic background". I think you've been watching too much Little Mosque on the Prarie. -

CBC reports settlement between government and Arar

Bingo. Arar really had no case in court. No evidence at all. -
CBC reports settlement between government and Arar
mikedavid00 replied to Melanie_'s topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yes I was freaking out. People were calling the radio station all day really mad and upset at the settlement. It's funny. The Arab community knows his tactics and games. They just call him a liar and cheater. But they are from the third world. They know these games. They know how these things are done. We're all gulible. Many third world practices are etnering Canada and people don't realize it yet. Schooling, hiring, eating.. it's just non apparent to most. But my fiance brought home World Of Warcraft last week so i've been busy with that this whole time. -
The value is good?? Are you serious???????

Dude. The terrorists are here. They are in Canada by the thousands.. they live in my neighbourhood. They are in Montreal with the flags of Hamas. They have plotted to blow up our buildings. No offence to the people in Alberta but you guys aren't around it so you really don't understand just how MANY hardcore Islam is in Canada. ALberta's issues are taxes on oil. I wish that were my issues. Instead I have aliens who are in Canada threatening our peace and livelyhood and sucking up our welfare state at my expense. I see this daily. The answer is to stop immigratation from known terrorist countries but our gov't is too weak to do this becuase they want to pander to minorities for votes. They don't want to chance bad headlines from the CBC. I feel like one person who is a little, lone voice of warning 2007. People from southern ontario (20% of Canada's population) don't even post here because they don't even feel they are Canadian. They don't give a damn about Canada. You have no idea what goes on here. Introduction of Shariah law into Ontario and Quebec legal code. I went to a wedding show and the only question we got was 'what are you?'. Meaning 'what is your background'. I told them 'i'm Canadian'. One person saw me and said they could accomidate for HALAL MEAT. I SAID 'HELLLL NO!' and then we all laughed. Almost half of all the second gen kids being born not even considering themselves 'Canadian' despite the fact that they know nother about their home countries. This is sickening. (edit:.. hehehe silly me.. Canada *is* their home coutnry) Harper has unfortunately sold out. He's out for votes to get into power which I really can't blame him. But he's not governing on behalf of the Canadian people. After we have our terrorist attack, I will quote this very same post and say 'see I told you so' as the title. And the reason why we had a terrorist attack is because we do not have a gov't that act on behalf of the Canadian people for our well being and security. We have a gov't that is playing games on it's own behalf so it can get power. And to think we have the FLQ threatening English quebecers born in Quebec. Like *that's* their important issue. I've always had a great deal of respect for the FLQ and natives. They both bare arms and will open fire for political cuase. They make things happen in our completely corrupt country. I just wish these energies were directed towards the good of Canada and not special interest.

I'm sorry. I support the USA in not wanting Arar on their soil. It's their country and they have a right to let in or refuse any non citizen they would like. I don't give two damns what list arar is on. Well i'm sure his family are all on waiting lists if you know what I mean. Arar is a symbol of a greater cancer in our country.

Tories Announce Energy Efficiency Plan
mikedavid00 replied to Ricki Bobbi's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I personally do not believe it's the role of the gov't to be involved in Energuides and such. Appliances and electric devices need to have food label style of regulations. For instance, I bought an air humidifier to find out it takes 180w of power to run it (i have a device that shows the power usage when plugged into the wall). I'm goign to take it back to the store because try as I might, I could not find the power rating on the box or manuals. An Energuide to me is just another gov't building filled with white collar welfare and we have to stop looking to big brother to control our lives. They need to govern Canada and get out of the appliances business. That market will look after itself. And yes I need a furnace and will pay more for the ultra efficient models becuase I"ll make the money back; not because of gov't rebates. -
That's laughable.

I agree. When I was a kid I was very nationalistic. Now when I see our flag I just think of the Liberal Party Of Canada and Immigration for the third world. I have no nationalism left in me and would probably give all my posessions to be able to move to the USA where I could be a proud member of their country and take part in true democrocy. Canada is a corrupt, immoral country IMO, however, I'm stuck with what I'm stuck with.

I do take these threats seriously and am on gaurd. The advent of the internet allows terrorists to find each other, plan, and organize remotely. People wonder how there is all these new waves of Mexicans coming in over the border.. it's nothing new actually, it's just the internet allowed mexican's to easily find smuggling services to escore them over the border. The same is happening with our immigration system and we're getting amongst the lowest quality people now in Canada and Europe in the past 10 years. In the GTA, I definitely choose not to take a subway or use public transit just for this reason. I'd rather wait in parking and pay for parking because I beleive it's only a matter of time. I also do not visit the CN tower. If many people including myself believe it's only a 'matter of time' before we see an attack in Canada, I will not chose to put myself in harms way. Many will say "then you let the terrorists win". No I didn't. My gov't did. My gov't is elected to govern on behalf of CANADIANS. My gov't is too busy playing religious and world politics to secure voting blocks at the threat of my saftey as a Canadian and is imposing a threat onto Canada. Police officers here in the GTA are not allowed to ask someone's immigration status which is being challenged in court becuase it' violating the mandate for our police to provide us safety. But eh, let's all watch Little Mosque on the Prarie and sing koom by a.

I enjoy watching conspiracy theory films for their entertainment value. I have this one downloaded but haven't watched it yet.. The libs love to dream up fairytales. I recommend the libs learn about our economy and people in general. They'll realize that money doesn't fall off trees, and that if people get an inch they'll try to take a mile. Learn those 2 thnings and then become you'll understand the world a whole lot more.

Another Canadian dies in Mexico
mikedavid00 replied to mikedavid00's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I heard on the radio that a million Canadians go to 'that side' each year. I don't know if they specifically meant Mexico but it sounds right at 1 of every 32 people. I know several that went this year. This guy calls up our after work talk radio call in show and says that he doesn't want to go to Mexico now after this but has no choice because he booked his tickets. So the host says 'when you go will you go off the resort?' He says: "oh yes". I still say this is coincedence. The reasoning is in any first chapter of a gambling book. -
He was a snow bird. They say it's another hit and run. There is another in hospital.

Liberal Shadow Cabinet Announced
mikedavid00 replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Lol! What a great site! I followed the links too: "Volpe bills taxpayers almost $7,000 for 31 meals" - ctv.ca -
Yes. This along with the Shilpa Shetty story are the biggest stories in the UK right now. Islam and multi-culturalism is all they are talking about. Things have gotten a bit out of countrol. A poll was released just a day or two back where 85% of Canadians feel that immigrants should make more of an effort to integrate. Canada is going to have its problems soon and due to the CBC, Harper cannot address this issue.
-
Remember that they have to get Harper while he's down. If we have a terrorist attack it will most likely work in favor of the CPC. I think that if the polls lean anymore in favor to Dion, he'll try call an election to atleast gain seats. He's living in a dream world though because he'll never win an election. I have to say, there's a dark cloud over Harper now. When the media reports that Harper is down in the polls, people equate it to that he must be doing something wrong. Then there's the CBC non stop Liberal campaign which is also effecting opinion. The economy might head for a downturn which will also cause Harper to suffer. I wouldn't discount an election this year and am a bit concerned over the voters supporting a party when it didn't even have a leader. There's something wrong in our country.. and I feel all the fingers point to the CBC becuase it's borderline irrational thinking. The CBC, and Liberals are like Islam, they both denounce independant thought and dictate.
-
You know that's an excellent comment fit for a signature. Getting inside the voters mindset isn't very difficult. This is where we are different than Americans. American's usually make the 'right' choices which fall down to fairly close elections. Either way, the outcome is the right choice. For instance, most people are not satisfied with how Iraq was handled, thus the voters gave that message and the will of the people is clear. In CANADA though, it's a much, much different story. Canadians basically get their news spilled down from a publically funded media organization called the CBC. If the CBC makes something into an issue, all smaller media will make it into an issue also. ie: Lebanese crying that they didn't like their boat ride home. That was a CBC created story that did not represent everyone on the boat. But it became a national story non the less because the CBC put such a heavy spin on it and showcased 'Canadians' saying negative things about Harper and Canada. Thus opinions dropped with Harper. When Dion said the environment was a top priority, the local and small media just 'mentioned it'. Polls presoiusly demonstrated that the envionment was the second last issue's on peoples mind when voting. The CBC however, put such a massive spin on the issue that the litterally 'told' people was important. The small media beginning to report it because *they* figured it alsmo *must* have been important. Then all of a sudden a poll comes out, and it's now the #1 issues for Canadians - DESPITE the fact that when you ask the common person on the street here in Lib toronto they say that services and the economy are their #1 issues and the enironment just isn't that important to them. They even tried to do call ins and no one on the small media wanted to discuss it. But the CBC is the ratings leader, the largest listening and viewing group for all of Canada. They hold this sole power to put a spin on whatever they think is important. Just like the Liberals, the CBC also dictates what should be news and what shouldn't. They dictate this to the smaller media outlets, and eventually to all the people. Since the CPC's victory, the CBC has been on a smear campaign using the Lebanon, Bush, and Afganistan issues as ummunition. The CBC shows and reports on Dion more than our own gov't in power. The CBC is running a political agenda that is killing our country, brainwashing our citizens, and the CBC should be shut down or receive no funding at all. They can sell advertising and compete with other media. When looking at how Harper could be dropping in polls, the answer is clear: the CBC. Not the environment, not Lebanon, not Afganistan, but rather a relentless, negative, 1 year long smear campaign from the CBC. The Liberal party looted tax dollars and even then they were still ahead in the polls. Harper essentially did nothing *legitimatly* wrong except for the income trusts, and he's continued to decline in the polls. It's very troubling that our tax dollars are funding a never ending smear campaign on our gov't. 'Embattled Embrose' for instance is the sort of brainwashing that the CBC carries out on a daily basis. Just even watch Rick Mercer and it's sickening how we can fund an ad campaign for the Libearls. This over the long term will effect public opinion and it has. Canada's dictator, communist style state has got to stop. We have to give the gov't back to the people/provinces and let us decide what is good for us and tell government that they are there to govern for the people.

Albertans are too 'smart' to make those kinds of foolish moves.
