Welll that's good. The Nation of Quebec can handle their own terrorism then. I think the FLQ should be more concerned with Islamic terrorists in Quebec rather than English speaking Quebecers. Imagine that if they threatened to go to war with the Islamists in Montreal.. now THAT would be something.. a first of it's kind. I feel if there are attacks, then Canada will give in to the terrorists. After all, that's what we do in Canada. (native protests, Islamists, etc).

I need Steve to reduce greenhouse gasses by taxing Canadians. I need Steve to tax Alberta. I need Steve to send billions of our tax dollars to China and Russia. I need Steve to make sure that we let elderly relatives back home into Canada within 3 months; especially if they need medical care. I need Steve to bring back the 1% GST. I need Steve to increase funding to the CBC.

Fifth Estate - Showing radical Islam in Toronto!
mikedavid00 replied to mikedavid00's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
When did I say that? I have muslim friends and have dated a muslim girl. I certainly don't think their all radicals. However as an immigartion policy, we are importing a threat to our country and it's only a matter of time before something happens. -
Fifth Estate - Showing radical Islam in Toronto!

Actually that guy and his familiy are well known in the Muslim community here. His parents own business and are supposedly fairly well off. They are activists and was pro Shariah Law in Ontario. They disrupted a womens protest in downtown Toronto. Supposedly he got hundreds of thousands of dollars to spy on these guys. He's actually known to be an active Islamist (which is diffrent than a radical Islamist). -
Fifth Estate - Showing radical Islam in Toronto!

I saw the report 8 days ago on satelitte while I was searching for different channels to watch the first episode of LMoTP. I came across a news report on CTV or CBC and they were showcasing a widow with a young child in Cornwall Ontario. They listed on the screen her benefits and they listed a lump sum of $750,000. I don't know if othher insurance or whatever was involved. I then mentioned to my fiance 'wow you see? they don't volunteer for nothing and I guess everything has it's price'. Then my fiance noticed they the lady owned a home and speculated that maybe she bought it with all the money she recieved. They then said that the widow got his pention and monthly payments of what he would have recieved and such. They had the listing on the screen. -

You mean how the 'white women' converts are destroying the mosque? -
Yes and a lot more things. The meaning of yesterdays show.. the moral of the story IMO is that white people corrupt the mosque. Like how she grabbed her husbands butt in the mosque. That is a big big no no. And I feel a lot of Muslim and immigrant families probably turned off the television when the sex stuff started.

All I'm saying is that what I saw on the news. I further consulted my fiance on this because she saw it with me a few weeks back and also confirmed the figure. -
Affordable Housing - What does it Mean to You?
mikedavid00 replied to Keepitsimple's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
They do already have rent supplement.. it's called child benefits and such. Affordable housing was a good idea in the old Canada when it was for Canadians. Not affordable housing is simply to house people from other countries and are now crime and drug infested. Also, back then you needed 25% down for a mortgage and banks were very, very strict on giving out mortgages. Now, anyone can get a mortage through shady brokers.. even if they aren't working. The day of affordable housing is over with. It's in the past. -

I saw that on the news about the compensation package. It will be very time consuming to cite this information. -
Fifth Estate - Showing radical Islam in Toronto!

I'm watching this now.. this is a must see. I'd say the news magazine show of the year in Canada. Of course there is a lot of one sided reasoning and it's naturally biased towards forgiveness of Muslims, but nonetheless it's a really good piece. You can tell though that they are using this story in a way for the public to 'forgive' them. -
Hey! Fifth Estate on TONIGHT 9pm CBC! They actually showed my neighbourhood in the beginning (i have satellite and got a glimpse of the beginning.. now I'm watching Little Mosque.. it's about pro-women rights and getting very preachy. I feel this epeside will definately offend some Muslims. The teenage daughter is taking off her clothes in the bedroom and they showed her butt and stuff. They are advocating changing mosque rules. I'm glad this is happening and i'm sure there's going to be objections..) I suggest everyone watch so they can see what's going on in Canada. Wow their showing muslim HOME SCHOOLING TOO! http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/

And you have completely ignored the voting history of Canadians to arrive at this view? Exactly. Look at how Canadians vote and you'll see these polls are just entertianment.. I'm sure they don't conduct their surveys in representations to ridings. Remember that post I made showing the very close races in ridings throught the country? Why don't they poll those area's and then we can get a clearer picture of how many more seats Harper will pick up. Litterally all of Canada outside the ethnic ridings and parts of Quebec have to jump on board.. it will be tough and I don't know if that's going to happen. He's going to have to work on immigration and getting relatives over faster.. unveiling plans to bring people over in 6 months and a plan for recognition of credetians. Both plans won't work of course, but we need to do something to make sure that Harper gets a majority so he can fix the country. I still have faith him and believe he's just putting on a show right now.
-
So the timing for the election looks to be in Harper's hands for the moment... I heard on the radio it's not a postive for any current leader when they are lagging in the polls this far behind.. Also looks like Wajid Khan didn't have an effect on this.
-
That's why I say there's no real such thing as freedom.
-
But then Harper would be anti-muslim. Can't you see the CBC headlines?

Poverty in Canada - Damn Statistics
mikedavid00 replied to Keepitsimple's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I disagree. In Bangladesh if you are making a average wages, you will be living hand to mouth. It's ultimately the country in which you live. Spending habits are secondary IMO. That's true. But you can't say that is the cause for her problems. Self hatred. This isn't about myself. It's about my fellow citizens. I find it troubling when someone is making the average wage of Canada, and bascially has only a few hundred left over to spend on herself after bills and expenses. In the US these aren't problems. You get angry and blame fellow citizens when they went to school, work in good faith, and barely have anything left over and are living hand to mouth. This is a form of self hatred. Plain and simple. I used to be the same way to, but sellf hatred is never the answer to fixing our problems. -If someone is in Ottawa and cannot get a job because they can't speak french, this is the fault of our country. -If you are white and grow up in the GTA and find that you cannot meet a female because everyone femail seems to be part of some 'ethnic culture' which her parents would not approve, this is the fault of the country. -If you went to school for 5 years, got good grades, got experience in co-op, and cannot find a job because there are barely any jobs and the employer is being flooded with resumes from immigrants looking for work that destroy your credentials, this is the fault of the country. A Canadian has just lost a job needlessly. (this is a daily occurance in Canada that is ltterally the single most important thing that is killing our quality of life but that's anohter post). -If you are making a middle income, have 2 kids, a car, and a very small house in the suberbs and are living hand to mouth with barely any money left over, this is the fault of the country. -If your son or daughter finishes highschool with 85% grades, tries to enrole in the local University, and to your shock are told that your daughter does not meet the requirments to enrole in a program, this is the fault of the country. You can't keep blaming induviduals for the fact they are living hand to mouth. It's unfair, and it's self hating that solves nothing. Again, this same lady can have the same in the US, lease a BMW, and have more left over. This is becasue their country is better. Not her spending habits. Admit it, this country is poor, it's economy sucks, our housing prices are far too high, employers don't pay wages unless it's a white colar welfare, our labor market is completely over saturated, and we are heavily, heavily taxed. This is the reason this lady is barely making ends meet; not becasue 'she has to have it all'. -
I never saw any of these potholes. I heard that it's the geographics of the city that is pavement unfriendly.

Yeah i'll be there this summer for sure. The women there are just drop dead gorgeous and slim. It's amazing. But from what I hear the hospital system is a complete mess. More waiting time than in Ontario even. I heard this is due to language issues creating shortages. Other than that I would love to retire in Montreal.

Not when your representative backed a gov't that openly supported Isreal, is anti-terrorism, and when there will be another known Muslim in this community running against him. I don't think he'll win personally.
