Honestly people here are (now) very well educated on the immigration issue and the rules to get into Canada. This has been discussed to death in previous posts and it is very time consuming for people to post numbers and cites. I think that YOU are the one that should be doing some reading on our immigartion policy. Afterwards, I invite you to read the immigration policy of the US. Then Mexico. Then France, India, Sweden.. you name it. Then compare our system.

No problem. Just knock one or two percentage points off Canada's annual GDP growth - every year. I might remind you that would put Canada in a recession - pretty much non-stop for the last couple of decades and endless future of recessions. You like recessions? The only thing keeping Canada out of them is our high immigration level. Glad you don't run our government. You're post is completely false. I don't care about GDP. I care about PPP. India has a far higher GDP than Canada. Is life better in India? No. GDP is almost worthless in my opinion actually. We can have a very, very small GDP as long as our population is low, we will be fine. We have already lost 15,000 jobs here in Ontario recently. In 30 days, this many people will be arriving from the airport to join their ethnic enclaves. Tell me how this exactly helps our country. The only real pinch would be in our housing market. HOwever, this would provide the greatly needed correction that our housing market needs. Besides this, salaries and job satisfaction would sky rocket up. And the side effect of all this? Oh yes, a better life for each Canadian. But eh, you're only concerned with GDP like a simpleton who doesn't really understand a countries economy. You are however probably good at listening to the CBC.

Great idea. One of the problem is: I exist in this forum with a frankly and honestly manner for several days and there seems no one try to assimilate or integrate me yet. Don't wait to be assimilated. Assimilate on your own. Best way is to start dating a white girl. While the Chinese are prone to prejudice and stereo types like the best of them, they are not quite as zenephobic like the south asians, mulsims, and other stone age cultures/religions. Asians for a large part are Christian and wear normal pants and shoese. They cut their hair and do normal things like go fishing and such. The Chinese like everyone else are simply taking advantage of our system and you can't blame them. I feel that Canada's major problems stem from other zenephobic, stoneage religious/cultures that come here like Sikh's, Mulsims, south asians, etc. etc. Not so much the Chinese. Look at it this way, at least a chinese person from China decided to take part in this forum. I would easily trade in the Chinese to other countries or even have them exclusively here in trade of other countries like Pakistan or Sri Lanka. I don't think Canadian's major beef is with Chinese people. Regardless, we shouldn't be letting anyone into Canada who does not have a job lined up when they get here. Who knows, this person could be 50 years old. We have no idea. He just shouldn't be coming here.

I'm so damn sick and tired of people saying that we have Dr's as taxi drivers. Without getting too in depth on this issue, just be completely honest with yourself. We have all taken taxi's. Do you SERIOUSLY think that these people are the quality of DOCTORS? I could care less what their stone age degree from their sht hole coutries say they are. That's a whole other post and those degrees are as a good as garbage. Go to a Canadian or American hostpital and meet Dr. Whitehead or Dr. Bernstien and then get a taxi and meet Abdul or Tarajamakarala and there is a CLEAR, CLEAR difference in itellect between these people. These cab drivers are not Dr's, they naver have been, and it's VERY obvious when you take a cab and have some low quality person with snot running out his nose and dirt under his fingernails, and smelling like BO claiming he's a doctor back home. Those who are real dr's, will be gifted and become dr's in Canada like 100's do each year from places like Poland and Ukraine and such. Those who have their 3rd world garbage degree's are immigrants like everyone else taking advantage of Canada's easy system. What we need to change is the recognition of credentials all together. The immigration system should be quite simple; if an employer proves he cannot hire a Canadian, and sponsors you in, then you are coming. If not, then keep trying and stay out. If you prove to stay employed, then you can stay. Numbers in Canada will drop 10 fold and will not be much of a burden out our society.

Regardless of multiculturalism, when you let in the sheer amount that we do in Canada (highest per capita in the world), you will have ghettoization and segregation. We also have this love afair with Asia countries.. ah yes they vote Liberal. We have a recognized terrorist country, Pakistan, being our 3rd largest origin of immigrants which is completely insane. They don't come here with job opperutunity, they are just wandering out of the airport aimlessly looking for their relatives and.. just.. 'living here' as they work to bring more over. Work? meh. who cares about that. We just let them in. Ah, ah.. just remember who to vote for when election-time comes around. Every day I see people in their cars who are simply landed here and unemployed. No care to integrate or work. Lazy, laid back, swerviing all over the roads, in full costume, on the cell phone, 3 kids, and not speaking english. I'm just a 'whitey' who they choose not to talk or let their kids play with. They are only interested in their little family functions and having childred to secure the citizenship. Who pays for all this? Ah yes.

Prove that they are needed. I want numbers and proven facts that Canada needs immigrants. But you know what, you probably have no idea of our immigration policy so I suggest you don't tackle this subject. Immigrants from the 3rd world are also the most laid back, laziest people I have met in my life who have attendance issues at work. When you come to Canada, you will not be able to function in many of our white-collar jobs that you so desire or feel intitled to. Yes, your English is good compared to your fellows immigrating with you from China, but it is simply not good enough. This is the reason why you will not find work (beside the fact that we don't have jobs). Not because of your color, not because of you customs, but becuase you don't have basic communication skills at a business level and you do not think the way we do. Our country, to be frank, simply does not need you here at all. You are working in a chinese research firm. You will most likely NOT find this job in Canada and will struggle to make ends meet. You will quickly learn how to play our system and take advantage of the various programs we offer. This is NOT on behalf of the Canadian peoples will, but our politicians know that your community provides a massive voting bloc of support to keep them elected. Thus you keep getting let into Canada. This is not just you, but all the thousands of people from China that come here each month. Ultimately, you will be coming here to join your community and better your life. Canada does NOT have jobs you in your field and there are 100's like youself looking for work. Again, in Canada, there is a 99% chance that you will NOT be a professional, you will not find employment, and you will not be in the place you feel you deserve. But you already know this.. How is this a Chinese-only party? Yeah Canada is really trying: We're having the Liberals trying hard to increas immigartion numbers to 500,000 a year. We have 800,000 people currently waiting to get into Canada despite the fact that our healthcare system is bankrupt and we continually have losses in full time employment. Yeah. Canada is 'really trying'.

I disagree with your assertion that Europe is superior to the US and that the US has an attitude of self gain. I feel the poorer country you get (Samolia, Pakistan) then you see more personal self gain. I find Americans are actually the most selfless nation in the world. Qustion: "Then if that's the case, why do the US only let in people that can benefit their country and kick them out afterwards? Aren't they anti-selflness??" Answer: "I said they're not selfish. I have spoken to thousands of Americans through previous job roles. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Americans are far more intellectual, educated, better spoken, and quick witted than Canadians. The British I have spoken to were the above x2. Very, very smart people. When ever I spoke to a Canadian partner I rolled my eyes and was like 'here we go'. They either didn't speak English and constantly had trouble understanding things. Immigrant or not. The immigrants were simply the worst to deal with. The absolute worst. Out of all the Canadians, I found.. I can't believe i'm saying this.. I found that the French Canadians in business were the most educated and intillectual of all the Canadians. Very smart guys who didn't waste time and had pleasant tones. Out of the Americans, I would say the smartest people were in Ohio and Colorado.

And the reason you are not allowed to marry into these peoples families is, quite simply, becuase you are white. I suspect the issue is religion rather than race. Sikhs are no keener on having Hindus marry into their families. Only 50% of Sikh's are religious. Hindu's are allowed to marry outside their religion. Go try marrying into them. And oh yes. Muslim men are allowed to marry Jewish woman. Let's see that happen! It's all a farce. It's stone age mentality. The mantality that the west worked so hard to rid ourselves of. Actually it is your resposibility to back up any claim you make with facts, stats, a link or some other means of proof. Otherwise people like yourself could just spout off about anything and never take any responsibility to ensure any sort of accuracy. Nope. The onus is on the person disagreeing with the statement to prove it false. That's why I have done it a million times. Yes it's time consuming, but you will grain credibility and learn something. If you don't, you are just shooting of blind opinions and emotions which doesn't help anyone.
