Will it be the virus that takes Trump down?
Rue replied to godzilla's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Shady you are apparently a worshipper of Pharoah to Eye...and he believes Pharoah is Chinese. China is just a prick spreading syphilis and needs to either get it cut off or placed in a rubber. Ah these Biblical references. -
I say only a Russian spambot looking to get negative attention would posit such an opinion. I would also state Rocky and Bullwinkle are not interested in Natasha and although your leader hates gays they are considered a nice couple here in Frostbite Falls. Like I said, Dudley Doright retired and he ain't comin out of retirement to chase Boris. You done?

You need Trump and his fans to scapegoat for the virus so you are even. The virus was caused by unsanitary conditions in wet markets. Physical distancing is not the cause or the cure but is a method to delay transmission but only if done in combination with other approaches..it provides for some the feeling of control and safety and in your case can be used as a tool to blame perceived political opponents. The need for some of you to blame others and have enemies never ends. Then again I am a Jew and hear this story every April. We call it Passover. Kind of ironic but there is no point for me continuing to point fingers at Egyptians over the pyramids. -
No. Also while I must defer to the comments of Godess I do not think she is arguing that anyone be forced to do anything. If it cannot not come from kindness of the heart no law can force that kindness. Which is kind of sad. I doubt that couple wanted to force any belief..I think they were just trying to defend their own....at one point the same reason was used not to serve blacks, Jews, etc., so that couple is just trying to be respectful for what the cost of freedom may entail and not feel their silence condones a behaviour they feel hurts others not just themselves. Ironically the baker probably feels the same way. Me personally I doubt Jesus would have had a problem baking the cake. I substituted as a second baseman on a lesbian baseball team when they had no backup and was the only guy and it was great being a temporary lesbian. They are hilarious and treated me real nice. They scratch their crotches just like us guys and gave me great advise on what not to do. All men should have lesbian friends. They know incredible stuff man. Also I think Jody Foster in her old age is hot.. I would buy her a beer and like to have a burping contest with her..she probably could win...

A lot of what you say about multi culturalism has merit..but I respectfully disagree with conclusion about immigration's relationship to the economy and respecting differences between people which for me are more about common politeness. That said you raised your arguements this time very fairly and balanced so since I am the first to challenge you I am the first to commend you. Does it take a virus to force or create a unified national vision...maybe..I just think things that come about from mutual consent as opposed to forced indoctrination are the way to go. It comes from my Michael Harder manual. His people taught me that. Unitarianmennoniteprogressivereformistbhuddisttaoistjewishstandupcomedianism.

Did Trudeau Fail His Country On Covid-19
Rue replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Trump is the spokesperson for a complex network of disjointed, fragmented, often redundant and contradictory web of information. In spite of its inherent incoherent muck of a mess it functions in spite of all the odds that conspire to make it damnable and imperfect..it functions truly in spite of itself precisely because at every level of its infinite number of levels of thought... this chaos occurs..out of it's very random and haphazard way of creating things, meaning or in the sense of government, policies come. So Trump is a red herring and change and solutions come despite all the planning at a time and place we never can absolutely know but try to estimate...politicians are just signposts..in themselves they do not create direction just point it out. All Trudeau is..is a muppet. The hand stuck up his ass manipulating is just a Wizard of Oz...I woud argue we are all flying monkeys, our politicians the Scarecrow, our lost innocence, Dorothy, our military the Lion and our health providers the Tin Man. The Wicked Witch is at this time the virus and its cure is Glinda that bitch in the bubble. Regards, Tintin -
No agree on the fact they are fatheads...and do not obess over why they are fat and will never stop being fat and find better ways to manage things without depending on them. Makes no sense trusting a fatman with your doughnuts. In practical terms it means making do with less material comforts. It means scaling down on an individual level dependency in our personal lifestyles with certain material goods that distract all of us from priorizing vital services. Governments as they do now serve as adjuncts and enablers of non vital services. By doing that they have abandon and distracted themselves from their true purpose, protecting us in times of need. By the way that is neither a leftist or rightist argument. Hey this crisis will maybe spur a shift of paradigm we will need to reexamine the role of government and business. Cheer up. We will be dead before such changes bare milk and honey. Regards, Fathead Rue, aka Moses with no gps

Yes you do for those very reasons stated and the remainder of what you said although probable will depend on different variables. Further to what Often said many older people prior to the virus were already isolated and dying of viruses. This is nothing new to them or marginalized persons or third world citizens. It's new for people in the suburbs. This phenomena appears novel because it's infiltrated the first world and challenges our affluent lifestyles that we took for granted and now have to change.

His elitist comment about overworked janitor ironically for a commie makes him the kind of petit bourgeois the government police will be the first to take out. Regards, Comrade Rue. p.s. verworked janitors are front line soldiers. ..I salute thee and thank thee and for that reason is also why I think Dougie at times is Dr. Strangelove but is always read by me each and all words, also Army...people with dirty hands cuz they have handled dirt are who I take solace from.. but mostly j I just give guys like you a nod. You guys do not like groupies. I get that.

Well you are all quick to throw out the same names or labels...but y'all are then equally as quick to throw out different stereotyped values for those names ..kind of pointless... cuz it don't appear any of you can figure out a fathead is a fathead.. ...you also might want to ask yourselves why would anyone call anyone else an enemy unless of course hey are one to start with...the enemy is any of us at any time when we stereotype others with negative shit cuz all that does is trigger name calling, demonization, wars, lynching , shit like that...which is also fatheaded...

Scribblet this just in.....Trudeau's beard doesn't seem to grow... it seems arrested in development. Good thing he is not a Jew, Siekh, Muslim, Quaker. It is just not religious enough for moi. In other news and please notice this, Trump stopped using the 666 hand signal once the virus started. He would use it constantly and then suddenly has stopped. Is it possible we have a clone in his place? Is that the real him? Is this part of the alien world take over? Have they replaced him? As for Harry and Meaghan they are in LA. Gee what a surprise. I give that dim light bulb of a boy 6 months in Hollywood until he succumbs to complications from syphilis. You want news.....Taylor Swift is at home with her cats and all the casting for movies in Hollywood is on hold. No way any producers are having interviews on their sofas during the virus outbreak. I would be interested to see if rates of sexually transmitted diseases go down all over the world or whether this hits the sex trade industry hard. You notice no discussion about that. I think one story we do not hear is the danger sex trade workers are now exposed to and if people think people stop using them during pandemics they are naive. Likewise drug addicts don't stop using dirty needles, etc. You notice the news ignores the impact on the homeless, sex trade industry, criminal institutions, not a peep.

Another excellent post and thank you. What we can say about New York of course is it has particular clinical characteristics that impact on the rate of virus complications not just for this virus, but any infectious virus and they include: 1-high densities of the aged; 2-high densities of people with underlying medical issues including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, drug addiction, asthma, cpd (lung diseases), lupus, ms md, als, arthritis; 3-high densities of people who smoke and/or breath in polluted air and so have compromised lung capacity; 4-higher levels of stress which in turn creates stress related physical ailments that impair the immunity system as a direct result of exposure to noise, crowding, traffic congestion; 5-higher levels of homeless, mentally ill and impoverished who have malnutrition and so are immune impaired. All of the above are clinical factors in many large urban centres. Also keep in mind cultural values. New Yorkers by nature are social and friendly not withstanding their over-crowding. They like their social connections-they thrive on social interaction and that makes them both a vibrant city and more likely to transmit viruses. Next just the condensation of apartments/condos in specific zones of New York City present infection challenges. Population pattern and density has much to do with the challenge in New York as it has been in Spain and Italy where high no's live in confined spaces. What will happen in say Mumbai, New Delhi, Calcutta, we wait to see. We do see in South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore with similar but not identical high density populations as New York City, the key difference with them is they had early warning testing protocols and systems in place and more medical supplies, hygiene protocols, and health surveillance response teams in place BEFORE the outbreak-that kind of risk planning as you said will have to be looked at by many cities like New York in the days to come. I think the Singapore model will be of immense help for new York City in future pandemic planning.

? How does the data show that? What you said makes no logical sense. People have denied from complication of opportunistic infections from getting this virus the same way no matter where they live. The factors are not specific in China; age, pre-existing medical underlying history, population density patterns particularly of elderly people, available hospital beds, level of medical training, types of medical services that are available, proper diet and access to clean water, hygiene protocol are the factors that determine rates of death with any disease or virus anywhere. In fact China has not shown anything we did not already know about pandemic management. If anything South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore have shown proper advance planning meant they did not have to depend as heavily on physical distancing the way we are now in Canada. However in South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore they practice very proactive hygiene practices including a type of distancing. Wet markets in China caused a jump of a virus from contaminated meat to humans. China has been an incubator of such viruses because of its wet markets for many years. The world looked the other way time and time again as viruses developed from birds, pigs, other kinds of contaminated meat and fish and from e coli bacteria caused by the use of human fertilizer for its organic produce. In fact China statistics show nothing unique to China at all other than that they are the source of this virus outbreak and have been for many more. China is able to use its totalitarian system and lack of individual rights to be able lock people down easier than in democracies. It now charges any Chinese citizen returning home to stay in hotels to self isolate for two weeks. Its treatments are no different than what we do in Canada. We can thank it for the virus, its filthy unhygienic wet market incubators of viruses and its sending counterfeit masks. It also has tried to help Spain and Italy and other countries exchanging immunology knowledge it has learned. The wet markets are an issue. We have let them become an issue in free trade by letting China be lax about its hygiene practices as its become the no.2 food producer in the entire world. As well China's government was exposed by its own physicians for covering up the virus and lying about it-whether that has led to needless deaths we do not know. To be fair it could have been motivated by a belief it did not want to spread panic but it also could have been for unethical reasons. Its probably a bit of both. Chinese people should be differentiated from their governments when we discuss this issue. Chinese people die no different than us and all governments when you get down to it screw up things the same way then try cover their bumbling asses. Some of it is deliberate, criminal, and has ulterior motives, some of it just inept humans who by nature are imperfect. We forget that. We tend to forget governments are made up of imperfect humans. We assignment governments far too much power and intelligence. They are simply the net result of the people within them, some highly competent, some average and others just out and out useless idiots. Having worked in government I have seen all three. My experience is government has as you would expect a lot of front line workers over-worked and under-staffed because money is re-directed to management levels. Civil service everywhere is bloated with redundant layers of useless management at the expense of proper amounts of front line staff. We like to have an army with too many desk generals and not enough soldiers so to speak.

I have you higher. You are a God Shady. Come on man...your avatar is a God, hockey coach, homicide cop, x men groupie, mail bomber, really screwed up pimp, or creepy serial killer...not lowly mayor. Seriously all large cities face serious challenges from poor planning. Its specific to one Mayor to be fair . New York will deal with it. They adapt to bullshit real good.
-
Holding China responsible for its wet markets will be impossible as you know...boycotting their wet market products is something we all maybe need to do.

There is no law for the above...and you project fabricated fears on Fox...you engage in wishful thinking where you control what the world must believe...lead by example...stop writing such nonsense...

Yah and liberals do not like getting spanked and pissed on. Spare me the feigned righteousness.

Your positions would have us believe we need to hide and detach from things we find threatening. Gosh who gave you that idea.. sounds like .you have virus isolation syndrome...vis.

Did Trudeau Fail His Country On Covid-19
Rue replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
His findings are full of questionable assumptions that were repudiated..If you feel secure wearing one wear one but your assumptions as to their impact have already been repudiated. More to the point while I appreciate you need values to make you feel safe at this time common sense alone should tell you why we can not mask everyone and in fact how masks might also cultivate bacteria, fungus and viruses. -
