It may not be true BUT on the other hand ,it is true and that's why they can do such thing and get away with them because most people don't want to believe that such things could happen within their own government. The West is always good and right and everyone else is corrupt.

Could they run a pipeline to the Quebec border than switch to a train to the port? Just trying to make everyone happy, any other ideas? -
I can't understand why communities don't use security guards more. Many have a police foundation training and they could do many things the police do and SG don't make much money, depends were they are working but mostly make 13.00 hrly except in places like Toronto.

Two People Shot Dead in a Saskatchewan School

BC, sometime when u reply, its more of a smart-ass answer that one that means something. Yes shoots happen in Canada, but they happen more in the US, right? -

There's a very good chance that the teen was on SSRI, for depression and the drug could have been the driving force of his actions and with medications , everyone reacts differently and the FN must stress more to these kids to come for help if they start to have bad thoughts. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/depression/in-depth/ssris/art-20044825?pg=2 -

It appears that the guy snapped mentally and time will tell us why, but if he had a knife or another weapon other than a gun, those people would had a better chance of surviving the attack. Guns are always the #1 choice because its easier to hurt or kill someone. To BC, u really should watch what u comment on because most of the time , u being an American, your country has many problems, and u r calling the kettle black, why go, you vs them attitude. -
Many main stream media around the world are owned by corrupt people who have their own agenda more than ever. The owners are the group that are the "elite" and have ownership in many corporations and are really running the world. One example is the following link and so one should really has to have an open mind when heard any news on the TV or radio and question it...could that be true? http://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-propaganda-101-illegally-invade-countries-fund-the-media-call-it-independent/5437617

I think they first thing they have to do is make clear are they more PC party thinking party of are they more a former Alliance Harper think party because that does matter, especially to former PC supporters. I can't see how anyone that was within Harper's party can win the PMO, it will have to be someone from outside. Of course, maybe one person could the former Premier of Alberta.

I think the Mayor Of Montreal has a real concern and maybe Justin should throw it back into the laps of the oil companies saying yes, maybe pipeline are safer than trains but its NOT safe until the pipelines are made not TO BREAK and spill and cause an environmental mess for years. I thought they were going to go through SW Ontario , but I see they go through N. Ontario. So either make a spill-proof pipe or re-direct the pipeline away from cities and carry a couple of billion for cleanup. -
Who was more honest Harper or his party? Is it being honest when we hear Harper on tape saying that he told his people he didn't think Cadman would take a bribe for his vote, BUT they could try if they want. Yea, that's being honest. and the big one " I didn't know" statement about the cheque to Duffy and yet Wright said he had to check with the PM BEFORE writing the cheque.....OKAY its good to go!!! Harper is know as a control freak and therefore he knows everything going on in the PMO and Justin could be in the same situation if he doesn't keep taps in the PMO.

Conservatives turn on Harper policies
Topaz replied to ReeferMadness's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
How can one have respect for any of the Conservatives that didn't call Harper out and many did and left the party. My own MP being a Conservative said he wanted to keep his job so he couldn't make waves with the leader. Remember when Harper said if u are here for yourselves there's the door..... many didn't take it , so they were voted out. -
Yes I know that and the bank personnel said the same thing but the guy was talking so low that I couldn't hear, just bits of pieces. I usually tell them I don't have a computer and a credit card and they leave me alone.

Not sure if this goes here but just a few minutes I got a call saying someone had used my credit card for a purchase of 400.00 and the bank was checking to see if I had used it because it was used in China. The guy has a very lower voice and was hard to hear but instantly I thought this is a scam. They start off saying the first 4 numbers of your credit card and want the rest from you, yeah, right! So in the end, I told him I would call the bank as talk to them and he hung up. I did some research online for the number I got by pressing *69, which lead me to Lexington Kentucky "859" code and where I found 17 complaints about this number and all had been called early morning saying the same thing. So, just beware if u get a early morning call that someone has used your credit card. BTW, I did call my bank and the person said they get these scams all the time and it best not to give out any info. until YOU call your bank.

Kevin O'Leary will invest $1 million if Notley quits.
Topaz replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
IF O'Leary wants to be PM, then he has to start from the bottom and work his way up and not buy his way into the PMO. Canadians should be able to see him in action on the floor of the House of Commons and if the Conservative let him run, then they are more desperate for a leader, then I thought! -
I'm pretty sure if a poll was taken about Canada's role in the ME, Canadians would probably want Canada of the military part and into helping the people's welfare. The ME war won't crumble if Canada pulls it jets and if there's a trust broken its only in the eyes of people who want a new PM or makes money on the war. What is Canada's interest there? We have our own natural resources, so it can't be that. Any Canadian who feels Canadians should be there fighting,...go.. and join and kill as many of ISIS as u want. The American's have said its a 30 year war, can any country last that long financially?

There's also an article why Canada and other countries shouldn't be in this so-called war against ISIS. http://www.globalresearch.ca/americas-war-against-the-islamic-state-isis-a-complete-hoax-isis-al-qaeda-al-nusra-et-al-are-us-creations/5501526

Well, since oil prices is heading to the bottom of the barrel, so to speak, green energy is going to be spreading out West. Alberta and Saskatchewan is adding to the wind turbines in their provinces. Right now, Ontario and Quebec are the leaders of having wind turbines but that could change. The only jobs from this are the workers who put them up and the security guards needed to stop people from stealing the copper used. It will be interesting to see if the rate of 15,000-20,000 yearly lease changes out West. http://www.lfpress.com/2016/01/19/ontario-taking-a-back-seat-as-the-green-energy-industry-shifts-to-the-west

How can this war from the view of NATO be to save lives in the region when over a million people, mostly women and children have been killed and the US has dropped over 22,000 bombs and yet ISIS lives. As far as I'm concerned IF, NATO wanted ISIS gone they would have been gone a long time ago but they have a different agenda and Canada didn't go into Iraq, which proved right. Canada, Britain and the US could beat Hitler but not ISIS?

Canada wasn't the only one not asked Russia has done more in their bombing against ISIS than NATO. I don't think most Canadians really care about this, and the Defence Minister, seems to hold his own and we can't always please everyone, can we?

Your Cell/Mobile/Handy number -the New Identifier
Topaz replied to August1991's topic in Health, Science and Technology
The only problem with a cell # is in the future, when land lines are gone, someone is going to get rich and print a cell phone book, which has all cell phone numbers and then it won't be a secret anymore. -
Ontario finally does something about Hospital Parking
Topaz replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
I've been told that one can deduce the expenses of visiting a hospital for treatment off one's income tax, just keep a record of gas used, meals and mileage plus parking. -
I agree with u about people dying at an early age and its happening were I live, people who I went to school with, many dying of cancer and I wonder how many boomer's kids and gr-kids are going to die of brain cancer because of the cell phone and other electronic devices. Hopefully, those kids will be smart enough to watch the mistakes of their parents and gr-parents and try to keep healthier.
