Nothing sums up how I feel better
gerryhatrick replied to Saturn's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You should contact the National Academy of Science with your information. This could turn the scientific certainty about Global Warming right on it's head. I'll get right on that when you go to any Geologic department at any University saying that the Earth's temperature and CO2 levels were at X level all throughout Geologic time and only now have been rising and are sky high. Whatever. Save your hack scientific conclusions and your red herrings for the WorldNetDaily forum. Global Warming is a reality, deal with it. -
Rae calls for Harper's defeat over spending move
gerryhatrick replied to gerryhatrick's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
How so? Is that your stock indiscriminate attack on him now? Expressing opposition what Harper is planning here has nothing to do with being socialist. Tell me geoffrey, if a person is in favor of ANY social programs does that make them a socialist? -

Yes B.Max, we know. Global Warming is a fraud. Just take it easy, it'll be Ok. Even your EU one worlders have said as much. Yes B.Max, it's a hoax. Breath deep, everything will be fine. -

Greg, does your forum content editor not allow for the inclusion of a confirmation/validation code? You know those codes that are presented as a blury picture and need to be retyped accurately? That gets rid of the bots.

Let's not forget what Pope Benidict is...

Because priesthood is THE BEST profession there is for perverts! It's possible that the priesthood and the celibate asexual life they lead turns them into pedophiles, seeking out contact other asexual beings as children are. You should see the movie "Deliver Us From Evil". I just posted a topic on it in this section. -

Try not to take it personally, that is that posters MO. You can report abusive posts by clicking the report button. I like your suggestions. There is a lot of action that can be taken immediately without the supposed descruction of economies that the deniers always chicken little about. They just want to cloud and delay the issue. That is Rona Ambroses whole purpose. The more it can be clouded and delayed, the less likely will it impact the CPC in the next election. It's ALL abou the election for them now, and getting that precious majority. Screw Global Warming, I don't believe they even think it's a problem. -
I caught this movie last night: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809706904/info Absolutely amazing and very disturbing. This Catholic priest was shuffled around California by the now Cardinal Mahoney and ended up abusing more than 100 little girls and young boys. Then knew about him for years....knew what he was doing and sent him around to a new parrish each time. The pain and the destruction for the victims and their families is heart-wrenching. It's total ruination for entire families. Besides the crimes and the pain it caused the most stunning part of the movie is the mafia-like stonewalling by the church hiarchy. Even now it continues.

Stephen Harper using the troops AGAIN.
gerryhatrick replied to gerryhatrick's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
How did I belittle their feelings toward their friends who have died? I don't care who's making the argument, whether it's soldiers or not. To say that one of the reasons a course of action must be continued is because lives have already been lost is a specious argument. -
I think Geoffrey is right. The President and Cabinet are the Government in the US just as the Prime Minister and Cabinet are the Government here. Legislators in the US have more freedom than MP's in the positions they take and what they chose to support but they aren't technically the Government. What ever he may have to say is no more government policy than the aforementioned Heddy's position on cross burning in Prince George. House of I never claimed that his words are "government policy". He is part of the government. He is a Republican in Congress. Whatever semantics others want to wrap around that doesn't change it.

I think that's a specious argument. The mission and it's continuation must always be judged by the present reality. Holding up dead soldiers as a reason to continue a particular course of action does a disservice to their memory if anything. Not specious if it's your comrades who have died for something you both believe in. I'd like to see you tell one of them he was being specious to his face. Telling them that their opinions are insincere, lack merit and they are doing their dead comrades a disservice by expressing them? To use your own favorite word, despicable. But then you are far more qualified to judge the merits of the mission than they. It's all very nice to play the emotion card...to pretend that the pure logic of "The mission and it's continuation must always be judged by the present reality" is somehow an insult to soldiers....but it's got no substance beyond emotion. Oh, and in saying this: You've clearly let your emotions run away with your brain. -
Don't stereotype Christians as idiots. They're more than capable of having deeper concerns than gay marriage.

Liberal Party of Canada Policy Resolution:
gerryhatrick replied to Cameron's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Oh yeah, those standard two parent heterosexual households are the absolute last word on moral superiority. YES, THEY SURE AS HELL ARE!!! when compared to a one parent home or a homo home with 1 or more queers at the helm. Give your head a shake buddy. Be part of the solution, not the problem. When you die we'll carve on you're gravestone "He yearned for the 50's". The world has moved on without you. Single parent and same sex parent households are becomming more numerous. It is the reality and there's no indication that it's leading to societies downfall. -
Ah, more slamming of Canada. Even a movie like Borat presents you with another opportunity to mash your heal in the face of our great Country. Love it or leave it Jerry, love it or leave it. No. Well, nobody can force you to love Canada. Don't expect me to sit quietly by while you lobby for it's destruction and condemn it's culture.

http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2006/11...474855-sun.html Bob is absolutely correct on this issue. What Iggy and now Steve are doing is just plain dumb.

Liberal Party of Canada Policy Resolution:
gerryhatrick replied to Cameron's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
"WHEREAS the current law discriminates against unmarried same-sex couples by not permitting unmarried persons under 18 to legally engage in consensual anal intercourse; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Liberal Party of Canada urge the Federal Government of Canada to bring the age of consent for anal intercourse in equal pairing with other forms of sexual activity." What's wrong with that? What is wrong with having the age of consent equalized? -
Why doesn't Quebec just separate already
