I wonder when this despicable behaviour will be given the full attention it deserves in the liberal media!! This kind of interference is something Canadians would not approve of, thus it's being largely ignored in the media.

Dion's Clean Air Plan Rips Off a David Suzuki report?

Please stop trolling. How am I trolling? My response is legit. Ironically, your response is typical trolling. -
When Dion whips Harper in the next election.....

Excellent answer. I agree, the likely future is a Liberal minority. With an NDP balance of power. -
Dion's Clean Air Plan Rips Off a David Suzuki report?

What a sad topic. It reeks of desperation. -
You are absolutely correct. Again, the MO of rightwingers is to complain about the media. The reality is the media has been examining Dion and the supposed "divisions" in the Liberal party pretty thouroughly. I've heard/read LOT'S in the media about how Dion has such a big challange ahead in Quebec and in his own party. Saying the media has been "fawning" over him us pure dishonest partisan hackery.

Will Stéphane Dion ever be PM of Canada?
gerryhatrick replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
How do you manage each day knowing you're just the funniest person alive? It must be a huge burden. When he loses the next election he'll want to use his French citizenship passport. Sorry, scriblett is much funnier than you. Keep trying though. Never give up. Seriously, I knew nothing about Dion, but after listening to him over the last few days I'm totally liking the guy. The personable quotient is huge, and he's got it. No doubt he'll become PM. Harper just barely won given everything he had in his favor (sponsorship, a meek media, Paul Martin). Any honest Conservative can see the writing on the wall here, and it ain't good for them. -

Good God. This is pathetic. Dion seems to have rightwingers in a fright! -

No kidding. It's pathetic. But you have to understand it's the rightwing MO to constantly complain about the media. They see non-bias as bias. Anything that isn't biased towards Conservatives is biased.

Chrétien to PM: 'Can I call you Steve, like George W.?'
gerryhatrick replied to comup's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The French were quite quick to mock Kennedy on his English, I know you meant French. You can critisize his English, but if you take it to the point of saying he's unable to speak the language then you're engaging in partisan hack attacks. I can understand him, that is the truth. If you can't I'm sorry for that. Keep trying. But don't try to tell us he has no command of the language, because he can express himself quite well. Deal with him on the issues level, that would be more meaningful. -
Liberals well positioned for next election

This poll is NOT within the margin of error. Liberals have a commanding lead over the CPC. If this is just a convention bump or not remains to be seen. -

I am amazed after our earlier exchange that you are STILL seemingly unaware of the facts behind this poll. -
Dion and the immigrant vote

Mikedavid00, what is your opinion on the KKK? -

How is that "factual"? Where is your evidence? And define "immigrant" please. Is that only colored people, or would immigrants from the UK count, for example. And how long do they need to be here before they wouldn't fit into your qualifier? Do the reasearch. The majority of seats they got this time around were from the big cities where those ridings had +30% visible 'minorities'. You should know this as someone who follows politics. The only exception is some quebec seats and maybe Stranichs. The Lib party is an immigration party in disguise. People still have the wool over their eyes on this matter but the numbers back it up. The public needs to realize that there is a waiting list of 800,000 people mostly from the third world (Pakistan being the third most) that are waiting to come here. This is the prime issue that is facing our nation right now but I've given up on this because people 1 - don't beleive it, 2 deny it, 3 - can't beleive this could be happening. But it is happening.. and it's all happening to keep a stupid political party in power. Nice job at answering pretty much none of my questions. And I hate to be the one to tell you, but "visible minorities" are not the only immigrants in this nation. You accuse minorities/immigrants of being ignorant, and then you attempt to appeal to them by quoting a number of waiting immigration applicants and claiming it's oh so terrible and all the fault of one political party. -
Chrétien to PM: 'Can I call you Steve, like George W.?'

Whatever. I can understand him fine. Obviously partisan hacks will look to swiftboat him on that issue, just like they mocked Chretien for a speech impediment. Real classy. -

With this one statement you've shown yourself to be out of touch with our current political climate. And you've demonstrated a willingness to mock someone for having an accent. That is pure partisan attack hackery. -

So he has an accent. He speaks just fine. My french sucks, but I understand him perfectly well in English. Me too. It's just another partisan hack attack. -

Did he bring a translator? That's mature. Will you be making fun of how he speaks from here on in? A little juvenile. -

You underestimate the power of first impressions. Dion has obviously made a good one, and they always linger. And I believe the poll you refer to is one taken before the leader was picked, no? Obviously that would be expected. -
No need to wait, Libs are already beating Cons 37 - 31% in the first post-convention poll.
-
Well, thankyou to the torries for these scummy intrusions on democracy to defeat Rae. Dion is proving to be a strong choice. Can you say "BACKFIRED!"?

I don't care how it's spelled, thx. That's not really anywhere near as important as getting the simple math of the poll wrong, as you did. -

I've taken stats courses too. So what. I'm sure Strategic Council has people twice as smart at it than you and me put together. I've pointed out your errors once and don't wish to argue the poll with you any longer.
