Supreme Court dismisses emoluments cases against Trump
https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/25/politics/emoluments-supreme-court-donald-trump-case/index.html
Hahahahahaha

-
You realize he wasn't exonerated. He ran out the clock until it was irrelevant, and the court dismissed it as moot because so is his presidency.
Hahahahaha

He failed to win a second term. Your whole existence is based around crowing about Republican second terms. But you can't. Because he lost.
Foiled again.

Mainstream news media hold a tremendous power ............. .......................for the simple reason that the public has relied on them for OBJECTIVE, UNBIASED, ACCURATE news.......WITHOUT ANY INJECTED OPINION OF THE NETWORK, or newscaster! Society of Professional Journalists Preamble Members of the Society of Professional Journalists believe that public enlightenment is the forerunner of justice and the foundation of democracy. Ethical journalism strives to ensure the free exchange of information that is accurate, fair and thorough. An ethical journalist acts with integrity. The Society declares these four principles as the foundation of ethical journalism and encourages their use in its practice by all people in all media. Seek Truth and Report It Ethical journalism should be accurate and fair. Journalists should be honest and courageous in gathering, reporting and interpreting information. Journalists should: – Take responsibility for the accuracy of their work. Verify information before releasing it. Use original sources whenever possible. – Remember that neither speed nor format excuses inaccuracy. – Provide context. Take special care not to misrepresent or oversimplify in promoting, previewing or summarizing a story. – Gather, update and correct information throughout the life of a news story. – Be cautious when making promises, but keep the promises they make. – Identify sources clearly. The public is entitled to as much information as possible to judge the reliability and motivations of sources. – Consider sources’ motives before promising anonymity. Reserve anonymity for sources who may face danger, retribution or other harm, and have information that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Explain why anonymity was granted. – Diligently seek subjects of news coverage to allow them to respond to criticism or allegations of wrongdoing. – Avoid undercover or other surreptitious methods of gathering information unless traditional, open methods will not yield information vital to the public. – Be vigilant and courageous about holding those with power accountable. Give voice to the voiceless. – Support the open and civil exchange of views, even views they find repugnant. – Recognize a special obligation to serve as watchdogs over public affairs and government. Seek to ensure that the public’s business is conducted in the open, and that public records are open to all. – Provide access to source material when it is relevant and appropriate. – Boldly tell the story of the diversity and magnitude of the human experience. Seek sources whose voices we seldom hear. – Avoid stereotyping. Journalists should examine the ways their values and experiences may shape their reporting. – Label advocacy and commentary. – Never deliberately distort facts or context, including visual information. Clearly label illustrations and re-enactments. – Never plagiarize. Always attribute. MORE>>>>>>>>>> https://www.spj.org/ethicscode.asp

You've gotta free yourself of all that hate, Argus. You're in such a dark place. You've been angry and bitter for how many years now?

Last week on CNN, they showed a clip of a video taken during the siege of the Capitol. The anchor warned of scary image of "a black guard being chased by the mob." Of course, that got my attention. I was thinking the worse. So I watched the clip. What was shown was a lone black guard blocking the mob in the hallway. The mob were shouting, wanting to proceed - the guard was holding out his hand, gesturing and talking to them. He was inching and stepping back, and as he stepped back the mob also stepped forward. He then stepped back up the steps of the stairs, the mob following him. THERE WAS NO REAL CHASE! It was a natural movement of a persistent mob (in a situation like this), wanting to go upstairs and proceed. Finally, the guard just gave up, turned around and semi-walked/run upstairs - he wasn't really running! The mob walked upstairs too. Most if not all of the time, there was only one guy from the mob who went close to the guard (and he talked to the guard) - the others seem to be staying back! The guard stopped to talk to them every now and then, considering he was just by himself .....therefore, I don't think he even felt threatened. I can understand that in situations like this, it can get hairy since the situation is fluid - things can go sideways fast. But that's part of a cop's everyday life when they answer to calls, or confront anyone! Media makes it look like they were going to lynch this black guard! That's what I get from this news reporting. What's so outrageous was that the anchor still stuck to her narrative about that "SCARY" event for the black guard being "CHASED" by the mob! She was lying blatantly to our face. CNN is blatant now about giving disinformation! This morning with Smerconish on CNN, the anchor was interviewing a former lawyer of Trump. The anchor was accusing the lawyer of inciting the crowd. He played a clip of what the lawyer was saying to a crowd an event (I don't know when or where it was taken). The lawyer said (referring to Pence).....something like, anyone who doesn't stand up for it shouldn't be in office. "SHOULDN'T BE IN OFFICE," was apparently the phrase that this moron anchor thinks incited the crowd. He said, "look how the mob responded, listen to what they say..." It was the clip that mob was chanting "hang Pence, hang Pence." The lawyer accused Smerocnish guy of taking his words out of context - which is true! Since when is saying someone "shouldn't be in office" be the equivalent of inciting? You know what the anchor said? And, this is what's scary - because this is the mentality that could spring up from this "new era:" It may not be what you mean, but that's how it was taken." How is that the lawyer's fault? How many among us here had said Trudeau shouldn't be in office - and there was that army guy they caught trying to get to Trudeau's residence. Could it be that he read our posts here and he took our message to mean that he should pay a visit to Trudeau. Are we guilty of incitement? What about that comedienne who showed a decapitated Trump head on social media. No one from CNN found that to be an incitement of violence towards the President. Heck, they made it even to be Trump's fault! Look, moronic anchor, we have no control over what people think....or, how they want to interpret what is being said! UNLESS of course, you want to take control of that too! Like how I take the messaging by CNN about that video shown above! I'm sure others would have a different take on it! Should I say that CNN anchor is inciting blacks (BLM) and Antifa to do a payback? Are you MEDIA inciting RACIAL WAR between colored and white people? Can you see down the road with this kind of mentality? YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SAY ANYTHING! This is a new era. - at least they got that right! It is an era so close to how Communists deal with any dissenting voice. You could find yourself facing unjustified charges, and be penalized for whatever it is "they" consider a "crime." Trumped-up charges.....no pun intended. And we thought what happened to Kavanaugh, and all people accused of harassment that happened 10 or 20 years ago - reputations tarnished, or some even lost their jobs WITHOUT ANY TRIAL IN COURT, was bad enough? Obviously, we haven't seen nothing yet.

Which one? Your posts tend to be full of drivel - I don't want to look it up - just give it here! You're so full of drama.........like it's a cliff-hanger or sumthin....what you don't realize is, it won't be hanging - it'll be plummeting! It'll get shot down, Argus. Your whole argument is based on ignorance. C'mon, Spit it out! I'll answer it! Btw, it better be a new one.....because I answered quite a few of your arguments in that post above. You better not give me something that's already been answered! YOU BETTER READ my previous post! This one: It depends on motivation, Argus. What motivates a person to do what he does - that's why only God can make those kind of judgements. Anyway, I'm reminded of Jesus teachings - one of which is that we have to depend on God. You don't worry too much about what tomorrow will bring...... Do Not Worry 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. See? What you're promoting is "paganistic," if not socialist! School lunches? You're worried about school lunches???? What about people who can't even afford to have any food at all - and you worry about school lunches??? And, hunger is hunger, Argus - regardless of age! No one stops you of doing charitable works, Argus. In fact, someone being forced to give for charitable reason, is not charity. Charity has to come voluntarily. 2 Cor 9 Generosity Encouraged 6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.”[a] Matt 6 Giving to the Needy 6 “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. College loans? Why does it matter so much about college loans? You must mean people MUST have high education (on the backs of other people to boot)....so they can land high-paying jobs that will enable them to buy all the material blitz this earthly and materialistic world has to offer! That's worldly concerns, Argus.......the very thing that Jesus wants us to discard! Here: 1 John 2 Do Not Love the World 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life[a]—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. So, get your mind off worldly stuffs! Stop promoting them! They're stumbling blocks. Anyway, you didn't mention that Trump will bring back VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS! That doesn't cost too much, and it will help a lot of people who are more inclined to vocational stuffs! You do know that Satan is said to be the "god" of this world, don't you? That's biblical, Argus. here, read this: https://www.gotquestions.org/Satan-god-world.html Everything that you've inaccurately accused Trump of saying, aren't against any of Jesus' teachings. You manipulated them to paint him the way you want him to look. Bearing false witness against your neighbor (Trump), is a violation of the 10 Commandments. Jesus will see in Trump's heart what really motivates him to do all that. And, you've been lying! Jesus would see thru that, too. Satan tempts us with worldly things, and he's the master of deceptions and lies. Worldly concerns - a stumbling block for so many of us, deceptions and lies in your allegations against Trump. That's why I imagine Jesus would be saying to you...... GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN! You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.

Then you should review what you posted! Where did I post what I believe in 2021? Lol. What I gave above was my response to you in your old topic - you can't tell the difference? I don't think you're that dumb......but.............. ................you sound like Biden - confused!
-
I didn't read farther than that. Why is it dumb to give your candidate the benefit of the doubt? Your comment is what's dumb! Hello? What sane person will vote for a candidate, and not hope that this candidate will do as he promised? If you know a candidate will not do as he says - are you still going to vote for him? You're saying you got a crystal ball? You can read minds? Can look into the future? Argus.....you're becoming the gift that keeps on giving.

Lol. I got into reading our exchanges in that old thread. This one is really good, in-depth explanation of your ignorance, Argus! Here's what you'd alleged Trump had said: Trump wants to " get rid of health care, cut pensions and unemployment, cut college loans and education grants, cut foreign aid and food stamps and school lunches! That way I can lower taxes on rich people and big corporations! Screw the poor and sick! If they can't feed themselves or pay for a doctor. Your accusation about healthcare is quite.....deceptive. I don't know where you got your information, but from what I heard in his rallies, and from the debates....he is going to get rid of OBAMACARE - not healthcare! He will replace it with something affordable. See, a few days after he said Obamacare's premium will go up - it did went up! More people wouldn't be able to afford it now. He's trying to save their healthcare system, Argus! In his own way. No, he's not a fan of Canada's healthcare system, he's got his own plan. There's nothing wrong with that. You're also not being accurate in your accusations. You didn't explain to Jesus why Trump would lower taxes on big corporations (which are owned by rich people). Because he said that's how you can create jobs, jobs, jobs! You may not agree with him on that.....but what he has in plan is not a crime. There's nothing even wrong with it, if that's what he truly thinks will create more jobs. If he did say he'll cut foreign aid and food stamps and school lunches.......there's nothing wrong with those either! He didn't say he'll terminate foreign aid, and food stamps. Even if he did terminate all those, I don't think there's anything wrong about that either - depending on his motivation! I've never been President (even of a corporation), or a king, or a ruler.....so I wouldn't know much about issues they face. But I do know that a good ruler must do what's good for his citizens. It depends on motivation, Argus. What motivates a person to do what he does - that's why only God can make those kind of judgements. Anyway, I'm reminded of Jesus teachings - one of which is that we have to depend on God. You don't worry too much about what tomorrow will bring...... Keep reminding us about your ignorance on Christianity, Argus. I imagine Jesus running into Argus. "Jesus! Hey! Good to see you, buddy!" Argus started mouthing off about Trump - how sinful he is. Argus also complained that Trump wants to " get rid of health care, cut pensions and unemployment, cut college loans and education grants, cut foreign aid and food stamps and school lunches! That way I can lower taxes on rich people and big corporations! Screw the poor and sick! If they can't feed themselves or pay for a doctor. Argus finished it off by claiming ...." they can go to hell, right, buddy!?" Blasted politics and its lying, scheming, out-of-context dirty ways. It's not hard to imagine Jesus taking a good look at emotional Argus. Not again. Then He pointed at Argus and bellowed, GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN! You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns. Matthew 16:23
