Maintenance? Wow, I’m sure there will be some changes made in procedures and testing before going live, as it were. But sometimes things go wrong and it can never be determined just what exactly caused the failure.

Since it’s the weekend, I hope you’ll make allowances for me. Buckin’ spotted an amazing collection of trucks, just sitting in a field by the #1 highway in Saskatchewan. I must have passed this same field on the way to Manitoba. -
Thanks, that’s quite a post! I’m not a fan of Rogers or Huawei, but I’d sure like to know what caused the outage.

My posts above were not an attempt to open a dialogue with you, Michael. But I will respond to further inform others that I attempted to message you twice. Apparently you don’t want to receive messages from posters for some reason. So I sent a few messages through the report function, respectfully requesting a response to the insults I was pointing out. Whether it’s Michael or Charles or somebody else applying the rules, the point is that they are not being applied evenly to the right and left. I’m simply informing conservatives on this forum to beware as the dialogue seems to be headed for the lowest common denominator.

I have contacted Hardner, but he has decided to ignore me. Which obviously telegraphs his intent clearly enough. Personally, I’m a big boy and don’t mind various verbal abuse that the left has resorted to. It reveals their state of mind more than anything else. I do prefer a level playing field. So to conservatives, just be aware that the rules are not being applied fairly. If you get abused, be sure not to respond in kind, or you may face a banning. And when we stay here posting, we win. The wins will come soon enough.

Public Service Announcement Be aware, folks, that the lefties on this forum are being given much latitude in how the rules are applied to them. Specifically, name calling and trolling. Trumptards, trumpettes, idiots, stupid, and much more inventive ways of trolling. By comparison, last January, I was disciplined for the following: "It's simple. I was going to answer your question last night but then you became your usual idiotic self. You must learn how to deal with people in a more mature manner if you want results. I expect that nonsense from the village idiot, but not you."

Luckily our home internet provider is with Shaw. But I read that people were ‘outraged’ at the lack of service. One online headline mentioned thousands of people affected, that is so grossly inaccurate it’s stunning. Rogers has 11 million subscribers. So it’s millions.

I haven’t seen a thread on this, the apparently nation wide Rogers cell phone network issues, which lasted for most of Friday. https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6515664 “The Canadian economy, and everyday life, is tethered to our communications networks, and when they go down, like Rogers did for much of the day Friday, there is no universal Plan B to keep widely-used – and vital — services online.” The CBC itself is suggesting you need a plan B for outages such as this. We’ve been warning about this need. What if you couldn’t pump gas or buy needed groceries because of this on Friday? Keep a few hundred in cash in your home. it’s simply buying insurance against network failures. Was anyone affected by this? I’m with Fido and I had no network all day.

Trump going to jail... "so unfair"!
sharkman replied to godzilla's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It’s kind of sad how the left lets itself get strung along WRT Trump, year after year. For instance, this thread was started over a year ago on some completely different attempt to get Trump. This thread was started on the event of Rudy Giuliani getting his home raided by the FBI. And of course Rudy is locked up now after they found all this evidence of crimes. And of course Rudy sang like a bird and Trump was arrested. Oh wait, none of that happened, did it? They didn’t find squat, because there was nothing to find. Rudy even offered them his copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop, but they didn’t even take it. They already have it. So hear we are almost 15 months later, and jbander says he expects Trump to get arrested in 2023! The delusion is stunning. -

Again, they would have arrested him already if he did anything illegal. They would simply loooooove to trot him out in hand cuffs and wag their tongues at his crimes. It would make headlines for a year. But he's not arrested, is he? He's filling stadiums with rallies instead. Try connecting with reality rather than the propaganda nonsense you feed your hate with. -

That's why I said, "...impeached, or the like." -
In the FBI's possession:
-Hunter Biden's laptop
-14,000 hours of Jan 6 footage
-Ghislaine Maxwell's black book
-20,000 images, computers, hard drives seized from Epstein's mansion and private island. Enough to convict hundreds. Or simply blackmail them instead, like Hoover used to do.

Trump going to jail... "so unfair"!
sharkman replied to godzilla's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Public Service Announcement: All of these investigations and show trials are not being done in an attempt to have Trump arrested, impeached or the like. There is no evidence to arrest him or they would have done it already. They are merely to keep a news cycle producing negative headlines for Trump in hopes of suppressing the mid term republican turn out. A forthcoming new pandemic is in the works to ensure the trusty mail in ballot ruse is in full effect. The usual fear mongering over climate change, trans issues and abortion issues will run 24/7. The hope is that the people will forget about the disastrous economy, illegal immigration, food shortages, vaccine injuries, recession, gas and food price gouging, etc. In the balance hangs the mid term election. Let the good times roll. -

A couple of years ago I decided to buy a chainsaw. Not knowing much about them, I turned to YouTube to get some pointers and found Buckin Billy Ray Smith. He’s some kind of logging professional who just loves life and chainsaws, in that order. He lives on Vancouver Island. And it turns out he did a major road trip with a buddy to Manitoba. Weird(Oops, actually Ontario) I thought some might enjoy the trip. -
Good to see you in such a happy mood, big mike, spreading the happy face reaction around the forum!

Nancy is married? Huh, I never would have guessed it. Like Hilary I guess. He'll get off with no problem... -
First a trickle....Now a flood

All I want to know at this point is, will the people at the top get arrested and charged. Bonnie Henry. Teresa Tam. Big Pharma execs. The WHO. Whoever made the decisions to force pilots and medical people to either get the jab or lose their employment. There needs to be a blood bath… -
Yes. Because money and people are involved, it’s the same old story. Just imagine that Trump is involved and the light bulb will go on for you. The whistleblower has also been inside the buildings of Area 51.

And being cornered and dangerous is causing more mistakes on their part. I’m hearing reports from a Marine that has 2 or 3 military whistleblowers in the US. The vaccine injuries within the military go back to before Desert Storm. One of them has been gathering hard proof for at least 3 years, after he got cancer himself from one of these vaccines. People that tried to blow the whistle back then were disappeared. Not anymore..

Those show trials won’t change a thing, they are only reaching their base. And try as they might, they won’t be able to take the people’s attention off the economy and the radical changes that are being foisted on the children with the transgender campaign. Really, they are their own worst enemy.

First a trickle....Now a flood
sharkman replied to Goddess's topic in Health, Science and Technology
And here we have the campaign to vax toddlers in the US. WSJ actually prints that it seems political… https://www.wsj.com/articles/why-the-rush-for-toddler-vaccines-covid-pandemic-children-fda-pfizer-moderna-medicine-evidence-11656951993?mod=djemalertNEWS Edit: Biden proudly declared that they are the First Nation to offer vaccines for children as young as 6 months. The WSJ: “In fact, we don’t know if the vaccines are safe and effective. The rushed FDA action was based on extremely weak evidence. It’s one thing to show regulatory flexibility during an emergency. But for children, Covid isn’t an emergency. The FDA bent its standards to an unusual degree and brushed aside troubling evidence that warrants more investigation.” -
This reminds me of the movie, The Big Short. It’s a true story based on the collapse of the US and most of the world economy in 2008. I don’t know if derivatives are similar to the CDOs that caused the collapse, but it sounds similar. The greed and lack of oversight is the same. CDOs were collateralized debt obligations, in this case, mostly subprime mortgages packaged together and given AAA ratings by rating agencies that were pressured to do so. Sold as blue chip investments when they were very risky. The ethics involved in this was deplorable. If you don’t know, as the real estate market in the US slowed, people would be unable to sell their homes before the mortgage interest rate doubled or more, as per the contract they signed. They couldn’t make the new monthly payments, and would default. The CDOs would then become worthless. This started to happen in 2007, but it became clear that the rating agencies weren’t downgrading the AAA ratings when they should have. It’s discovered how morally bankrupt the industry is, the lack of government oversight and how exposed the world economy really is. The Big Short, worth watching to understand how slimy the US banking system has become. In a completely different way, it’s fully expected that the US (and world) economy is going to collapse again.
