I wonder how many of your posts are false, kuzadd, what with you willing to change content and meaning like I caught you doing in the 'My Beef With This Site' thread.
-
And what numbers did you give in the religious killing thread, 33% christian to 19% Muslim. Like I said, a pretty significant difference.
-
But significantly less arrogant that saying all religions are evil and should be abandoned.
-
I don't want to repeat myself, but...
-
Good questions. God wants all people to know him and have a relationship with Him.
-
They probably wouldn't agree, but at the end of the day would be happy they are in a better place.

Now that's a fresh streak in the analysis (or maybe not so fresh, but who cares). If only it could be proven to any credible extent - I mean more credible than those (in)famous WMDs? It has been proven that some of the weaponry is Iranian.
-
Why, of course, even the children of satanists.
-
Hey, here's an idea, why don't you ask God on that one!
-
Yes, its too bad all of these false religions exist, it must make God very sad to see how badly man has distorted the belief in God.
-
No wonder you have a grudge against God with all of the incorrect beliefs you have. You only are accountable to God when you reach an age of understanding. Different for all people. Most children don't reach that age for several years. Aborted babies go straight to heaven too if you were wondering.

I'm surprised that the BQ is seen as rising 5 points in this poll when it comes to Quebec. The Liberals seem to be holding their support while the Tory support seems to be falling. The NDP are up especially in the west but only 1% overall. The poll doesn't show the breakdown in Ontario. I'd be curious to see that for sure. It certainly confirms what all other polls show: Tory support is starting to swoon. How does it do that when it shows a lead that the previous poll(the one you kept repeating) didn't? This new one shows an uptick in Tory support. It doesn't really matter though. When an election is called, and the Tories roll out their now proven campaign strategies, the polls will begin to betray Liberals the country over. Yes, catchme, and when the NDP campaign splits liberal support, the Tories will finally get a majority.

Second chances? God gives us 80 years to figure things out, screwing up many times along the way. Or how about 70 x 7 screw ups every day being the number of times Jesus said to forgive someone?

U.S. healthcare expensive, inefficient
sharkman replied to Catchme's topic in Canada / United States Relations
At the same time the boomers put increasing demands on our system they will be making shortages in nurses and doctors as they retire. And as we get a massive influx of new Canadians each year using the medical system while not paying into it (immigration), those line ups are not going to get any smaller. I'm not sure that one single report can be trusted to accurately analyze this. Numbers can be played with and made to say anything. Don't look now, scriblett, but I think catchme is a member of that radical anti christian group, Pro-Can. Sad, really. -
Forget Blair, I'd like to see the Iranian President taking responsibility for all the armaments and weapons he's had sneaked over the border to blow people up. When he cleans up his share of the mess that'll be about half of it.

If and once Quebec separate from Canada
sharkman replied to 1967100's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No, they will not replace the U.S. as our biggest trading partner, they will replace the U.S. as our most disliked neighbour. -
I didn't think you were completely serious when you claimed Hamas is deliberately trying not to hit anything, 3000 times. It seems you are. That's quite a leap of faith there you make for Hamas, and of course give none for Frum or Israel.
-
What's this catchme, you think that by merely saying, "No they didn't fire all those rockets", you have proven your case? You also make a wild accusation about race baiting without providing any reasons why, just flinging mud. You get an F.
-
Hmm, seems you completely ignore any reference to you earlier sentiments about lopping off tongues and mutilating hands. If this is what your thinking and analyzing gets you, change your reading and viewing habits.
-
This is so sad. It's obvious who the aggressor is here, sooner or later Israel has to respond. At least Palestine is to busy fighting amongst themselves to strap on the bomb belts.
-
I'll tell you why the war supporters can view France as they did, and the Middle east as they did. Because each conflict is unique and must be approached with analysis, not with a one definition fits all wars mindset which is similar to the mindset you have when approaching the Iraq war supporters. Also, in your bias you fail to notice that those who don't support this particular war do support the violent actions being taken against Israel in the ME. Why do you not question this apparent hypocrisy?
-
So you don't believe in God, but you believe aliens once walked the earth. This belief, coupled with the one where you said all religious zealots should have their tongues removed and their hands MUTILATED, really puts you in a category far worse (as you define it) than people who believe in God.

Jerry Falwell. Dead and gone.
sharkman replied to Higgly's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Permit me to add my thoughts on the fist fight analogy and Hitler. Hitler was a bully and he was bullying to get his way in Europe in the mid thirties. Land was given to Germany in the hopes of appeasing this bully so he wouldn't fight, and he promised he would be happy with the extended borders. But some saw through him, Churchill being one of them. He was ignored, because everyone wanted to have peace and thought Hitler was like them. They all were wrong, as was Chamberlain. So, confronting the bully much earlier, before he built up a huge army and air force, would have stopped WWII. But hindsight is 20/20. Nothing would have appeased Hitler save surrender of all Europe. Where would we be today if that would have happened? -
Jerry Falwell. Dead and gone.
sharkman replied to Higgly's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
"Dr. Falwell was a giant of faith and a visionary leader and he, as a man, has always been a man of great optimism and great faith and he has left instructions for those of us who have to carry on and we will be faithful to that charge" How's that for an opposing view? -
Yeah, she believed aliens were coming to fix everything and you've been compensating for it by being anti god ever since. Hey, whatever floats your boat.
