  1. So many guns??? I am so scared. I mean, I much prefer giving the Liberals ALL MY [EXPLETIVE-ING] MONEY because they will BAN handguns!!! Good to know that the gun registry prevented a 16 year old in TO from getting an AK-47. I mean that billion-dollar underestimate really helped!!! LMAO I forgot it's all the Americans fault...
  2. Agreed MB. Although Liberal heads are thicker than I thought.
  3. I respect the French and I have a great degree of respect for Rene Levesque...HOWEVER, they become unreasonable when they discriminate against Quebec's anglophone community. Speaker wants to talk about two wrong not making a right. Well, when the anglophone community in Montreal got angry when the Montreal metrocard was made bilingual (instead of English only) 50 years ago, francophone Quebecers complained. Now they are French only...how do the French think we feel??? The PQ maintains that English Quebec "has access to all services in its own language." Yet, sucessive PQ governments have sought to criple the English community. Many parts of the Quebec government website are French only. Why should we appease Francophones in Alberta? When were the French ever in Alberta? The English were here historically too. I respect francophones but I do not respect discrimination as imposed by the federal Liberals and provincial PQ.
  4. Yes they would Shoop. The Liberals preach hate and lies. Certainly they must believe some of them...
  5. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> An article in the Gazette today had an article about near Quebec City it is becoming a Bloc vs. Conservative race in several ridings, with the Conservatives gaining ground at the Bloc's expense.
  6. You just may be right...
  7. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Internal war in the LPC??? They are the most united party in Canada!!!
  8. just to make sure everybody knows, the "Hands In My Pocket" ad is for a credit card company, not a Conservitive Attack ad! -kimmy {any similarities between banks that have their Hands In Your Pocket and the Liberal Party of Canada are purely unintentional.} <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have seen that ad and I really thought it was a Conservative attack ad because it described their government perfectly.
  9. 802 out of almost 300 million people. Out of the 802, how many of those were unregistared and illegal guns? There were 1,614 deaths in car accindents in Pennsylvania alone in 2001 (42,815 in US). Should we ban cars? They are far more deadly than guns per years. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You don't understand the Liberal Party of Canada. For Liberals, Canada is such a "nice and gentle" country that Canadians MUST have been influenced by those "evil NRA-induced Americans" with their "culture of guns." There was a funny pictorial a few weeks ago in the Montreal Gazette. It showed Martin in Toronto with a police officer who had just arrested a man in his early 20s who just shot someone. The police officer said "He was born in Canada, acquired the gun in Canada, watched Canadian movies, never been outside Canada, etc." while Martin said "Damn those Americans!" That is the Liberal Party's policy...blame the Americans, preach myths, and never take responsibility for their actions. For Canada's sake, I hope a Conservative government is up and coming...
  10. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Liberal Party believes they own Canada. After all, they created the Joe Canadian myths of Canada and anti-American hatred. Canada is a strong Canada but we have been weakened by Liberal lies and hypocrisy. Canadian federalism is in serious trouble. Only the Conservatives can give this federation a chance to survive.
  11. By default, some NDP seats will go Liberal and I don't see the Conservatives above 120 seats without more improvement in Ontario. Still, good thing we are moving in a Conservative direction...
  12. I think it is time we bring it up again... According To www.nodice.ca the Conservatives are not behind in ANY poll taken in 2006: http://nodice.ca/elections/canada/index.php I think we are looking at a Conservative minority government with about 123 Conservative MPs and 107 Liberal MPs. I'd give 58 seats to the Bloc and 20 to the NDP.
  13. If I'm not mistaken, it was mentioned last night that she's also in a neck-to-neck situation in her riding. She must be getting desperate. She belongs right at home with the Liberals. She was rude and obnoxious when she was interviewed alongside a Conservative spokesperson. Interrupted the lady and would not let her say anything. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BTW I love that list...I am going to hang it in my bathroom because just the sight of those names gives me nausea.
  14. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Belinda actually gaffed while campaigning with Martin saying "Mr. Martin hates the urban vote" or something to that effect. Still say Landslide Annie has to lose...the effect of the Liberals getting shut out of a province means they won't be able to play the federalist card as well.
  15. Canada=A country that has two official languages and isn't bilingual. Quebec=A province where you are discriminated against if you don't speak French. As far as I am concerned, the Quebec government isn't willing to accomodate anglophones, so why should anglo provinces be willing to accomodate francophones? As an anglophone Quebecer, I learned French to be able to participate more fully in Quebec society. Francophones in other provinces would be wise learn English and do the same. No one really believes the bilingualism myth anymore.
  16. I don't think he should bring up SSM. Personally, I don't support SSM because for me, marriage is a religious institution.
  17. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree Shoop. The Liberal campaign has been full of gaffes because the Liberals really don't think they can lose. As for the Conservatives, the campaign has been strong, while Harper seems sincere and honest.
  18. I will try not to be partisan... Bloc: Defend the interests of Quebec in Ottawa, do not talk much about separation, emphasize Liberal corruption and what the Bloc has acheived for Quebec in Ottawa. Liberals: Do not talk about scandal, focus on the economy, and try to focus on one issue instead of being spread out all over with many different things. Make Martin seem attractive. NDP: Focus on the various things on the left that your party has accomplished. Attack Harper because NDP can really get more done with a Liberal government. Conservatives: Focus on honesty and integrity, let voters know that the Liberals have lost the moral authority to govern, emphasize the positive proposals that the party supports, environmental issues, defense issues, relationship with the Americans that have faulted under Liberal hatred, make Harper seem attractive.
  19. I think it is the sincerity present in his speeches, something that is missing in Canada. After 12 years of lies and Liberal hypocrisy, Canadians are warming up to the possibility of a sincere and honest government. They see Harper as a man who has morals, integrity, and values. The Liberals cannot attack this, lest they acknowledge they are a party of hate and division. I hope Harper continues on a roll and God Bless Canada...
  20. No one on university campuses really sees Martin as the "socialist CEO." I mean really, this is a man who has done everything he can to cut social programs and health care. Martin's father was a true man of the left, this Paul Martin is someone who is pretending he is.
  21. The only way Canadians will be seen as stupid on the world stage is if they elect this corrupt and divisive Liberal Party. This is a party that is so arrogant, so corrupt, and so full of hypocrisy that they cannot even figure out where they are as a party. Just today I read in the paper that the Liberals are so confused that Martin's advisers are leaking information. Pro-Private Care ex-Reform Liberal MP Keith Martin wouldn't stand with Martin while he was in BC while Martin was spinning his "save public care" BS that neither he nor anyone else in the Liberal Party know they can save. Yes I am voting Conservative...Tories ahead 36-30 in the polls. Good to see that more Canadians are interested in saving this country.
  22. It's a good thing they've got some of the real rednecks to keep quiet about the "freaken pervert homos", and the "free abortions for welfare bums", and "child porn is promoted by Liberals" type statements....They've successfully backed off of what they once described as "convictions" relating to abortion and same-sex-marriage.... When you can adjust your convictions you become a liar.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Typical criticism of the right from the left. Just like the Liberals have convictions, right err? As for the NDP, they have never governed this country so they don't have to worry about that their convicitions holding up.
  23. Agreed...it's like a drug addicition...
  24. Nice advice Slim <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree and your labling of parties was quite fair.
  25. No one is talking majority, but why not think about it? Positive energy. The CPC is on a roll and if they continue and get 40%, they could get a majority govt. I am partisan but if an election were held today, it would likely be a CPC minority govt. There are possibly 4 scenarios for the election: 1) CPC minority 2) Lib minority 3) CPC majority 4) Lib majority #4 looks unlikely at this time. #2 and #3 could be a toss-up, but the CPC has the momentum now. No doubt about it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And why not??? The Liberals are a party of hatred and hypocrisy...
