  1. I don't think you understood her sarcasm.
  2. just answering a question little man.
  3. Holding members of parliament to the wishes of their constituents is the solution. MPs should not vote based on their belief system, but should vote based on the wishes of their constituents.
  4. Glad to be of service.
  5. Then we should do something about that How is that tyranny? That proves my point, the Montebello protestors were peaceful and did not want to commit violent acts therefore the suggestion to commit violence was not followed through. Undercover Police provide opportunity for violence and protestors eject violence then that means the protestors did not go to commit violence in the first place. Undercover Police provide opportunity for violence and protestors proceed with violence then that means the protestors did go to commit violence in the first place. And now rioters by law have to show their face. There are ways for police to provide identification of riot police without badge numbers and we should look in to that in order to make identification easier. Do not wear masks? It could be illegal, but if the people who commit those actions are wearing masks that makes all those laws useless as they cannot be enforced. By making it illegal to wear masks it would then make it possible to enforce all the other laws. Why?
  6. And none of that is relevant. 1)Not enough 2)Im sorry is that an argument? 3)Sure there is, most Afghans want to live in peace while the Taliban who in many cases are not even from Afghanistan are killing western soldiers and Afghan civilians. Khadr should have lost his citizenship the second he was captured his family has shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are terrorists. I just don't see the desire for people to make him a victim, his family has fought for terrorists and turn to Canada only when it benefits them. You want to fight for the taliban send him back to Afghanistan. He is not a victim, he is a cold blooded killer.
  7. Canada should want immigrants who do not meet the requirements(Language, Finances, others) and then fight tooth and nail to meet those requirements in order to come to Canada. When my parents were coming to Canada there was a requirement to bring a certain amount of money to Canada that money was a lot in Eastern Europe and they did not have it so what they did along with the thousands of others was work harder get the money might take a year or 2 or 3 but they get it. I would rather have someone who worked hard to meet the requirements rather then someone who did not need to work at all to meet the requirements.
  8. Ok, "Eat it or take it home" is "teaching finance" is that better for you?
  9. What points did I ignore? Please enlighten me on the weakness of my position. Are you for protestors wearing masks? it is now I have no problems with legitimate protestors, I have a problem with rioters and specifically those who do damage and cover their identity to avoid the consequences. Protests are not the once a year lets stick it to the man and blow shit up. Protests have legitimate purposes and when the issue that is being protested is ignored because people are focusing on the rioters. Please elaborate how this brings about tyranny. If a riot is likely to happen why not force the hand of the rioters in order to arrest them and prevent it from happening on your terms rather then reacting to the violence. Yeah the G-20 was definitely peacefull 20 billion? it was at most 1 billion.Tony Clements Boder Security Gazebo, the Fake Lake... and of course.... The subject here is to make people accountable for their actions. Some people see massive protest as an opportunity to commit violence because of large crowds, if they are forced to remove their masks and are held responsible for their actions some might think twice while other will for their actions. Yeah and the law can't do anything if you cannot identify either party now can it? What would make YOU happy? I thought the problem that people had was that 90 police officers hid their identification. Police Identify themselves protestors don't wear masks We need a second law to make the first law relevant.Rioting is illegal, but me wearing a mask kind of makes it hard to punish me doesn't it? I think what the G20 proved was that it was not a massive waste but that it wasn't enough.
  10. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entrapment I know its wikipedia but if you want I can go find a different source. If I was a police officer in the middle of a protest and I suggest violence whoever acts upon my mere suggestion most likely already was willing to commit violence acts or is the most suggestible person in the world. This has an easy solution, police wear proper identification and protestors do not wear masks. Whoever wears a mask is detained/arrested as it is likely someone planning or doing illegal activities.
  11. 1)Protestors don't wear masks 2)Police officers wear protective gear but still wear Identification problem solved My personal belief is that police can bait protestors in order to remove the violent once before they can commit crimes.Protestors should be applauding the police for removing the rioters from the main body so that the message they are trying to put forth is not in any way diminished by the violent rioters. Seems to me that police officers are still pretty high on the list of trusted professionals. My feeling is that average joe still trusts the police while the people who distrust the police in many cases have a very good reason as they are criminals and the police is throwing their asses in jail.
  12. Ouch you just broke my heart!
  13. What would you suggest as punishment? I don't know what the penalty should be, to me that is failing as a leader and should be cut in rank at the very least. I'm afraid protestors have lost all credibility with Canadians. Clearly they will do anything to avoid being brought to justice for their crimes.
  14. She does not have to deny what the child said, she has to tell them what happened. If the teacher did force a student to dig through the garbage to get the food then she would have been fired and charged. I think I will stop talking to you on this subject as you are obviously digging through the garbage to "support" your argument and I use that word lightly as it can hardly be considered an argument.
  15. They are doing something wrong if they have to cover their face in order to avoid getting fired Doubt that at a protest? Seriously what kind of drugs do you take? Never knew rioters could be so courteous. Well don't wear the costume. We are all responsible for our actions
  16. 1)90 officers not over 100 2)There is an investigation and they will be punished 3)They will find a solution to avoid such problems in the future 4)Yes I think they were acting individually seeing as there were over 90 is a small number compared to the overall strength of the police so I do think it was individual decision or at least at the smallest unit level.
  17. Can the federal government force the decision on to the states?
  18. With a parent like you, your kid will be a winner.
  19. Thats also hearsay
  20. If there is a risk for violence police should be ready that means helmets on. When it comes to police officers there should be easy way to identify in order to prevent abuse of authority.
  21. Many of the problems are caused by the division of us and them. When you tell hardworking people that they are a step below people born in Canada no matter how hard they work or how dedicated they are to Canada.
  22. Because your actions do not support that statement.
  23. Thats funny.
  24. Yeah and the natives were here before your family whats your point? My family earned the right to call ourself Canadians as well. Both my parents are law abiding, hardworking and taxpaying individuals as are my sister and myself. If you consider this "buying" the right to consider myself Canadian you have some serious issues. So Trudeau invented immigration? No immigration during the 1800's or the 1900's? You might want to read some Canadian history books.
