  1. .............. those with faith will tell you that prayer inspires hope. .................... whatever!
  2. .............. crime spree .......... Trump not, notwithstanding.
  3. .............. all true............. the ChiComs have consistency of leadership .......... planning. Laughable to compare China to Russia ................ A Democracy certainly does not have consistency of leadership and planning (strategy) ........ it's way too partisan. The US of course take partisan politics to another level ....... totally useless governance domestically and geo-politically. ............ and it is going to get worse.
  4. re: 'The Roman Empire was way more successful based on inflation of money, technology, etc" I didn't realize the Romans walked on the moon, developed nuke energy and buffalo wings .............. nod to pizza. The Roman Empire was colonial .........but certainly not Global ......... the US is global largely due to grooming of their international military bases........... and by extension, their commerce. (weapons sales). The US does owe it's supremacy tho on the desire of so-called immigrants to resettle to that 'shining city on a hill" - they brought their science and technology. Arguably the development of America's nuke program is a tribute to 'immigrants'.
  5. I could agree with a lot of what u say. However, Israel could have acted alone, the strait would have remained open? What has been accomplished - Iran was always geared for asymmetrical warfare............ not 'set piece' battle! OMG! The JCPOA was victory - international cooperation? The truth is that Trump was desperate to deny Obama a victory .......... and he considered Iran a soft target. I'll be the first to congratulate Trump if the nuke fuel is recovered, a negotiated ceasefire is signed and of course, the strait is reopened. Right now, he and his head shop are making a fools of themselves...... can't imagine anyone worse making decisions - totally inept. But, we'll see.
  6. War crimes? Superman isn't concerned about 'war' crimes. Dead civilians make lousy employees contributing to the war effort. .............. Agree Dresden was a terror bombing - the war was won. "There are a lot of people who say that bombing cannot win the war. My reply to that is that it has never been tried" / Bomber Harris - Bomber Command WWII
  7. ............. how strange the 'other' nations weren't informed beforehand of this largesse. ah, recovering the fuel isn't the priority ........ this text is right out of the horse'.............. er, donkey's mouth.......deranged!
  8. King Charles coin ............ ...............King Donny coin. Hilarious to believe that the coin is to celebrate the defeat of tyranny and as a sidebar, the birth of a Nation. "Kings no more"?
  9. These guys would agree with you ............ " We will keep pushing, keep advancing, no quarter, no mercy for our enemies"/ Pentagon Pete Hegseth "The object of war is not to die for your country, but to make the other bst'd die for his" / Patton 'I believe that forgiving the enemy is god's function, our job is to arrange the meeting" / Norman Schwartzkof So would this guy .............. a nation needs to be grateful. "
  10. Lie???? I describe it as a confession of an individual's feelings. .....hope? Your 4 y/o is dying of cancer - you've talked to the doc - 6 months, max Hope is an option................... hope is the only option?
  11. From who, Iran?? On the Continental U.S.? It was a war of choice............. now it is a war of necessity? The priority now isn't recovering the nuclear fuel - it's opening the strait. Nuke in the face is still a possibility!
  12. space already has huge amounts of orbiting debris. Orbiting debris makes nukes in space harder to detect........... U wouldn't trust AI with nukes (?) ..............me neither .........moot! Believe me, noone will be asking us. haha The race for Space is on (again).............. with China......... strictly peaceful tho. Science / technology ........ Trump should stop cutting NASA's budget.
  13. Ok - lets agree that it was a war of choice. The proof of the cooking will be in the eating........... You have to admit that the 'war' has global consequences - a coalition of action would have been prudent at the very least. Examine past conflicts - the degree of organization, the international buildup, the cooperation? Oh, and we're not talking NATO - we're talking broad, international cooperation. They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions ................ is Iran an example. They possess the power of mass disruption ...... in the form of Hormuz.
  14. Def some truth to ur suggestion that NATO expansion led to Russia's paranoia. Ur correct. The Budapest Memo certainly did not guarantee protection to Ukraine – there was no binding agreement to that effect. The point tho is that by relinquishing their nukes Ukraine relinquished their deterrence. Ukraine relinquished their nukes at the behest of the West................... more fools Ukraine? There were ‘assurances’ agreed to by Russia – which they reneged on thru annexation of Crimea and later invasion in 2022. Russia defended their contravention of ‘said’ assurances in stating they (Russia) had agreed to the assurances, but understood it meant to not attack Ukraine with nukes. haha. Political hacks claimed a great victory over the B.M. of course...................... victory (peace) in our time. Put bluntly, Ukraine went from being the 3rd most powerful nuke nation on earth to being invaded. Nukes are deterrence. Missiles, drones, et al …………………….. not so much.
  15. ..................do u suppose Ukraine (Budapest Memorandum) , after giving up their nukes, would agree with you (them)? Academia doesn't win or even defend - they postulate. When the dust settles, they continue if their conquerors allow them? In February 2014, Russian forces seized or blockaded various airports and other strategic sites throughout Crimea, Ukraine, which placed Russia in violation of the Budapest Memorandum.
  16. .......... if ya want peace prepare for war............. or have allies that have prepared for war? It seems to have worked for 70+ years. So-called Idealism is great in rhetoric .............. but usually only after great national ultimate sacrifice.
  17. ............ arguably, 'sorta' describes it accurately. In terms of science, technology, commerce alone, the USA is likely the greatest Nation civilization has ever recorded. That is not to say it will remain so.............. There are those that are tugging on superman's cape ................... some would say successfully.
  18. I respect ur opinion .................. the same was said about great historical failures as well.
  19. Man portable AA is an infantry weapon................. incredible defense against ground attack. High fliers ur talking about are akin to the B52 - truly awesome - but vulnerable to AA batteries. To employ heavy bombers u need to scour for these AA batteries and either destroy them on detection (emission) or avoid the missile on launch (hard or soft kill). The AA missile is either fire/forget or a beam rider (illumination). During the Vietnam War heavy bombers were in constant peril over populated areas of North Vietnam. The U.S. if fighting a war on (2) fronts - the political and the military. Imagine several U.S. air assault shot downs by Iran - imagine the blowback. The problem remains that this is a war of choice - with global implications. It was sprung on the American public. Trump is a great 'war leader', the problem is that he is at war-leader against at least half of the American population. He is not a unifying leader, neither does he want to be............ he can't be, Trump doesn't know how to be. Trump's strength is partisan, division? And that is how he want to lead the Nation.
  20. ..............have u examined Russia's budget sheet lately?? ............... Russia's failing attempt in Ukraine?
