  1. "Trump has a long way to go compared to that" ............ arguably what is pathetically sad is that he has lost his ability to lie effectively - 'the king has no clothes' Any leader that can't be believed (trusted?) - can't lead effectively.
  2. Science / technology are the fuel for National Security............... weapons development. (NBC) Those that don't see that should put down the bong. The devil take the hindmost.
  3. Infectious diseases have disproportionately affected Indigenous people since the beginning of colonisation. For most people in Kanada, the risk of getting TB is very low. The rates of active TB among Indigenous is disproportionately higher - direct result of relocation, loss of lands, Reserve system, residential school system TB (disease) is treated with antibiotics. Left untreated the disease spreads, is deadly without treatment (prayer beads aren't too effective). The World is a sewer .......... getting more so .......science is the only salvation .........
  4. I'd argue that ground troops don't fight for God ........ or even for country ...... that's civilian fodder. (propaganda). Oh indeed, they (China, NK, Russia) are no doubt studying 'goings on' .........in particularly political leadership. So, the question is, to date does the political leadership instil confidence and confidence that if necessary? Essential? Is it capable of leading strategically / and tactically to enable the military to punch, 'up' successfully.......... "up" being China, NK, Russia. Or is the leadership ridiculed internationally amongst allies. No doubt the 'they' are emboldened. ya think?? Ask yourself how many allies does the U.S. have globally ............... hundreds? Ask yourself how many allies does Russia have ..................... low single digits Ask yourself how many allies does China have ................... low single digits ...................... Trump is putting into question the global alliance structure that has been a benefit to the U.S. (world) for so long.......... and by extension, the World To suggest Europe could not defend itself against Russia is absolutely ludicrous......OMG (gasp) Today, ain't the Cold War scenario ................. Ukraine has demonstrated that. The UK and France are fully independently nuclear capable in Europe. That said, It is estimated the US has several hundred warheads in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Turkey. NATO Is likely more to do with commerce than it does with defense - where do the allies buy their weapons?
  5. .Yeah - Trump was hoping for a civil rebellion - storm'n the Bastille scenario - not a bad strategy if u know there's organized, armed resistance.........Trump has destroyed what trust there might have been with the domestic population of Iran ......... suppose it should be mentioned that the regime is still in place in a more virulent form..... Japan 1945 - pre Little Boy.
  6. ........... curious about what it's like playing 'hide the weiner' in zero gravity! Rumor is 'it' is on the list, 'to do'.
  7. This is nonsense - huge mistake comparing Reagan to Trump - hell, Ronny is likely turning in his grave. Forgive me for saying u sound like a civilian.
  8. ................ likely raid along the coast ...... Kharg (?)........... no doubt they could take it but holding it (resupply?) might be tough.
  9. Amen! ......... I can do without the propaganda BS - no offense!
  10. It's about lack of discipline, it's the military ............ hopefully expensive toys for responsible boys. ........or was it orchestrated?
  11. Indeed. .........and the resulting technology. USA is the best - but with the cuts - will the the gold standard continue? Science is the fabric of a Nation ............... the rewards are huge!
  12. If they go ashore - god bless the troops - lions led by political donkeys!
  13. The guy is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over his skiis .......... Bride him with the Nobel is necessary - but I for one will breathe a sigh of relief if he does claim victory and GTFO. , vindictive, childish in speech and action - Mr President, don't let the door hit you on the A$$
  14. There is over 10K ground troops deployed? My god, man - the US reportedly(?) has hit over 30K ground targets. I think ur reaching. This 'war' is a constitutional crisis - and it could become more so.
  15. Fantastic! ..................... patriotism burns bright as it should! Bravo Zulu .. Surprised Trump wasn't at the launch - oh, forgot he was busy attempting to intimidate SCOTUS. SNL stby!
  16. ................. rumor is after Trump's diatribe their adjusting the Doomsday Clock! 80 y/o, def in his dotage, rambling, childish ....................... tic toc.
  17. ah, not quite - The War Measures Act requires the President to consult with Congress before committing armed forces into hostilities and provides a framework for reporting and oversight of military engagements. It does not mandate a declaration of war but rather a process for Congress to be involved in the decision-making regarding military actions. Congress is MIA.
  18. ................ depends how u look at it ................Apache gun-ship hovering over a private residence? Looks good on Kid Rock ........ but a definite lack of flight discipline, safety. Yeah, should have been some investigation - Divine intervention in the form of the President.
  19. Definite power move by Putin................could get interesting ..... Russia says it will continue to provide assistance to Cuba, a day after a Russian-flagged tanker provided the island nation with its first shipment of crude oil in three months. “Cuba is our closest friend and partner in the Caribbean, and we don’t have the right to abandon it. Assistance to Cuba will continue,” Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing on Wednesday. Zakharova also said that Russia stands in solidarity with Cuba and demands that the US lift its “blockade on an independent sovereign state”. Zakharova’s announcement comes a day after United States President Donald Trump’s administration allowed the Anatoly Kolodkin to proceed despite an ongoing US energy blockade. The Aframax tanker entered the Bay of Matanzas – the country’s largest supertanker and fuel storage port – carrying 730,000 barrels of oil after a three-week journey from Russia.
  20. ......... arguably Hildebeest would label them, 'deplorables'! lol
  21. Mr. Trump announced to the Iranian people that help was "on its way" on January 13. Shortly afterwards a steady flow of military assets began moving into Europe and the Middle East. The so-called, ‘armada’ included carrier strike groups, strategic platforms, along with thousands of troops As this build-up was happening, Iran and the US began indirect nuclear negotiations in Geneva, mediated by Oman, with the aim of reaching a new deal to curb Tehran's nuclear program. Donald Trump delivered the State of the Union address on Feb 24, 2026. It set a record for the longest speech in American history. Throughout February, both sides met for three rounds of talks, with the third concluding on February 26. A mediator claimed after the last meeting that there had been "significant progress", One day later, Mr Trump gave the final go-ahead to his defence secretary for the military operation ‘Epic Fury’, inside Iran. This war (Op Epic Fury), is a major war with global implications, and has not in any way been authorized by Congress. Conflicts since 1945 would include Korea, Vietnam, the invasion of Grenada in 1983, the Panama invasion in 1989, the Gulf War in 1990, Somalia, the Kosovo War, the war in Afghanistan, the Iraq War (ISIS) and the Libya war. Of these only the Gulf War, Afghan War and Iraq (ISIS) wars were authorized by Congress. The other wars were not, but they had a legal basis. The Korean War, for example, was not authorized by Congress - Truman argued he had U.N. authorization under the charter. Bush’s actions in Panama – Bush argued his actions were in support of the Panama Canal Treaty. The other wars that were fought without authorization were quite limited in scope: Grenada, Kosovo, Libya. Kosovo was costly in money but not in American human life. The Libyan intervention was not an expensive war in either terms, of money or human life, and neither was Grenada. Both the major wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were authorized by a vote of Congress. In 2013, Obama considered getting involved in the Syrian civil war, and he asked for an authorizing resolution from Congress, and when Congress voted no, he chose not to act. So Iran really is a departure here. There’s no treaty. It’s obviously a major war, and there’s no pretense, no pretext, no initiative, no beginning of an act of a request for authorization by Congress. It is not authorized in any way. Were the American people taken by surprise?
  22. ............... they say that the Iranian regime is in an existential struggle .............. the same might be said for Trump. The Midterms cometh. tic tok I'd argue tho that with the President the political victory is by far the most important - they say that if u repeat a lie often enough people believe it and propagate it............ and that includes major media.
  23. agreed! Billionaires are definitely concerned about the price of fuel!
  24. ......... military victory is falling behind in priority to a self-proclaimed (political) victory. Normally you'd think that with the so-called, 'Bully Pulpit' the President would have all the advantage communicating - his rhetoric is wasting that advantage.
