  1. You don't change or create new laws when you're appealing a court decision that would affect those laws in question, and are being litgated.
  2. Lol... got nothing do you 😂 Back to X in search of todays new conspiracy 👉
  3. Obviously you come from the @Army Guy school of bending over and doing what Trump say's rather than doing what's best for your country. We're talking about Chinese built cars here, or did you forget that in your typical cry me a river 'look whats the liberals did'. Try to stay focused... You are the prototypical simple minded far right Poilievre supporter though. Totally clueless in your little fantasy world, but always good for a laugh.. 😂
  4. The Toronto Star reported that up to 40 Conservative MP's are worried that Poilievre will cost them their seats in the next federal election. Wonder how many will cross the floor this weekend? Poilievre is a dead man walking....
  5. Not every country was handed up to 50% tariffs that shìt kicked industry sectors with lost jobs. No country has laughed about being hit with tariffs.... You're not that foolish are you? You need to find another act with that one... 'pooping' your pants and telling someone to F'off are two entirely different things. Believing what you see from random posts on X and FB tells me the only 'poop' here is your brain.
  6. Facts are not assertions.... The fact is that Iran's strategy has been very effective.
  7. The federal government appealed the courts decision last September. You don't comment and keep active dialogue going with the public while there is a legal process playing out.
  8. That's a lot of typing trying to defend the indefensible... From my comments what facts elude you... Is it Iran having the US by the short hairs right now, is it Trump scrambling daily to find an exit, is it the March inflation showing the highest YOY increase the US has seen in 2 years, is it the economic pain caused to the global economy, or is it the clear lack of strategy the US administration had? This NYT article is from one month ago today.... https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/10/us/politics/how-trump-miscalculated-iran-response.html How Trump and His Advisers Miscalculated Iran’s Response to War In the lead-up to the U.S.-Israeli attack, President Trump downplayed the risks to the energy markets as a short-term concern that should not overshadow the mission to decapitate the Iranian regime. The extent of that miscalculation was laid bare in recent days, as Iran threatened to fire at commercial oil tankers transiting the Strait of Hormuz, the strategic choke point through which all ships must pass on their way out of the Persian Gulf. In response to the Iranian threats, commercial shipping has come to a standstill in the Gulf, oil prices have spiked, and the Trump administration has scrambled to find ways to tamp down an economic crisis that has triggered higher gasoline prices for Americans. The episode is emblematic of how much Mr. Trump and his advisers misjudged how Iran would respond to a conflict that the government in Tehran sees as an existential threat. Iran has responded far more aggressively than it did during last June’s 12-day war, firing barrages of missiles and drones at U.S. military bases, cities in Arab nations across the Middle East, and on Israeli population centers. U.S. officials have had to adjust plans on the fly, from hastily ordering the evacuation of embassies to developing policy proposals to reduce gas prices. After Trump administration officials gave a closed-door briefing to lawmakers on Tuesday, Senator Christopher S. Murphy, Democrat of Connecticut, said on social media that the administration had no plan for the Strait of Hormuz and did “not know how to get it safely back open.” Inside the administration, some officials are growing pessimistic about the lack of a clear strategy to finish the war. But they have been careful not to express that directly to the president, who has repeatedly declared that the military operation is a complete success. So yeah.... clearly misjudged and not well planned.
  9. I have nothing to look back at or respond to. Iran's playing this one out the only way they can and it's effective. That's war...
  10. I haven't asserted anything. Whatever I've said is facts that you don't like. It is what it is...
  11. I'm not playing chase the question with you. Play stupid if you choose. Your guy is taking shots, but that's part of war, right.
  12. If everyone was as smart as you, we'd all be screwed. Trade doesn't really work, and we need to do more trade inter-provincially.... Got it.
  13. You're denying this isn't causing Trump problems at home politically and abroad diplomatically? I've skewed nothing. It is what it is.
  14. Lol... you have no fùcking idea what you're talking about do you. What are you even trying to say in this so-called convo.. You're jumping from HSR to homosexuals to saying foreign to saying domestic trade are the same thing. You don't have a clue... End of the day you got nothing except your angry little rants about anything left. What a 🤡
  15. Why the problem with facts? Are you really that numb to think that Trump knew they were going to play the Strait against the global economy and in particular your inflation like they have? Again, no I'm not cheering Iran, and so what if I don't like Trump. It doesn't change the facts.
  16. You just don't like Canada do you... Why not move to the US, or easier to just stick around and bîtch?
  17. For a clown from Langley you talk pretty tough American speak... Iran obviously can't go toe to toe with the US militarily, but they sure have found an effective way to pressure Trump.
  18. Seriously... why those emojis? We've only lost what trade with the US Trump wanted us to lose. Growing trade with China and every other country is what we need to do, regardless of the US agreement when that happens. You're picking things out of your àss. Major projects like HSR is infrastructure, not foreign trade no matter how you want to spin it. I said you were utterly useless, not the HSR project which I agree with. Your hand gets further up your àss... We can have two separate conversations because they're two separate topics. Inter-provincial trade has nothing to do with foreign trade. The rest of your rambling is as useless as the above... 🤡
  19. I knew you'd be all over this... Can always count on the red hats 😂 Yes, it's undeniable that Iran has your guy by the short hairs, and no I'm not cheering for Iran. The circumstances are what they are... "Iran is doing a very poor job, dishonorable some would say, of allowing Oil to go through the Strait of Hormuz. That is not the agreement we have!" he wrote.
  20. Take your thick little head out of your àss for a minute fool... China is not being 'considered as a replacement', we want to grow trade with them. HSR is an infrastructure project, that has nothing to do with international trade. Champaigns, wife, WTF... These are 'facts' and supposedly made me mad and upset....? You need to get a new act 🤡 I'm not sure what interior trade is, but there is more the provinces can do for better inter-provincial trade. Our federal government removed all barriers, so now what...? Little minds think in little ways.... We're not losing the US as a trade partner or is there even a concern for that. They need what we have as both a supplier and a customer, just as we need what they have. That's playing out with tariffs hurting the US economy so let it drag on longer, which only helps. 🤡
  21. How simple minded are you? It's your thread and your comments that we're losing a 'trade war' with the US and Mexico, which I replied to. What does China, HSR, Champaigns wife, and now inter-provincial trade have to do with our US trade. You never pointed out anything other than the usual schtick of anti-liberal. You got nothing... as usual.
  22. Where exactly did I claim victory for Iran? I said they have the US by the short hairs, which is undeniable. The rest of your typical 'leftist' rant and devotion to Trump, whatever....
  23. Amongst pollsters Abacus, AR, Leger, etc... A good majority of ~65% disapproves and even within the group that would vote separation, only ~50% would vote regardless of the economic pain while the others just want their voice heard. I don't get my news from think-alike friends on X or Facebook so why don't you give me the inside dope of how and why this wouldn't be an economic kick in the groin. Most every economist or person with common sense would tell you this new 'Alberta' would see economic contraction, the exit of capital, corporate head offices and people. The province is landlocked, nobody would invest because of uncertainty, and all the while you will be paying more for healthcare and every other service, provided you can find it. What do you do about currency and what bank would support that, what do about your portion of the national debt, etc, etc, etc.... And no, I did business in Alberta for 30 some odd years and well aware the province isn't a bunch of 'hicks'. I view some of you as fools, but there are fools everywhere... This will go nowhere but will at least allow you fools to keep complaining in hopes of getting bit more off your chest.
  24. You can't be a superpower if you don't have a lot of friends. His comment of us witnessing the greatest collapse of strategic power we've seen is accurate... we saw that with allies standing firm with Greenland, we're seeing that play out with allies saying 'you're on your own with this one' in Iran, and we're seeing that with all trading 'partners' trying to better diversify trade away from the US, while obviously still trading in that economy. Personally I think that both have been a good wake-up call not only for us, but all US allies. Where I'm not convinced is that this new approach to the world militarily and domestically is at the 'point of no return'. Maybe it's just hopeful thinking but I'd like to think Trump is just a bad mistake that American's made... which I think they've figured out by now with his 32% and declining approval rating. Does that mean we'll go back to a pre-Trump world who knows, but if the next administation took a similar approach to the world, the collapse of power will only be accelerated.
  25. By keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed. Takes away from Trump's claim of victory and keeps domestic and global pressure on him because of the cost pain it's causing.
