  1. I didn't vote for Trudeau 3 times in a row.... one and done for me. You probably don't have lot to cheer about either as Harper's record was less than stellar, and obviously no conservative government since. I sense a theme here...
  2. Iran didn't start the war. No I'm not saying Iran should have got to do anything but as intelligence experts have said, they were not an imminent threat. Your guy his Fox News Host wanted to play with their military toys, and his buddy Nutenyahoo is a war monger who enjoys bombing and killing people.
  3. It took 10 years plus to get where we are today and it's not going to be fixed overnight. No surprise, but I think he's the right guy at the right time for us but only time will tell. If he's not then the next time around we'll vote for someone we think can do a better job.
  4. Stay on topic big guy... For a country that is getting lambasted with bombs the simple threat of taking out ships in the Strait is working quite well. That's not taking an anti-American our Iran side at all side... it's just fact.
  5. Of course the government doesn't stop governing. You cannot though go start amending and/or changing laws that you're challenging a court decision on. Common sense says that is unethical. Why does that not make sense to you? I'm sure the government is going to have lots to say when the time is right and it doesn't interfere with their legal arguements.
  6. You're correct.... it's our everyone's economic heads right now because of Trump. Well played... On a side note my wife just got home and laughing about the shouting matches at the gas station this morning with people rushing to get their overnight 0.10 savings on today's pump price. Didn't ask, but guessing they're more pissed at Trump than they are at Iran.
  7. Yes, Iran has played one of the few cards they have very well in closing the Strait of Hormuz. Don't need CNN to tell me that.... Trump has today; The Iranians don’t seem to realize they have no cards, other than a short term extortion of the World by using International Waterways. The only reason they are alive today is to negotiate! President DONALD J. TRUMP The Iranians are better at handling the Fake News Media, and “Public Relations,” than they are at fighting! President DONALD J. TRUMP You'd think he has better things to do than playing on his social media site, but concern makes people act in different ways.
  8. I think it's beyond stupid to start playing with or amending laws that you are appealing in the courts. You don't understand how jurisprudence works.
  9. You have an odd way of showing your 'love' for Canada... You are correct though that everyone has a right to voice their disappointment, but people listing to the same 'disappointment' schtick day in day out also have the right to tell someone to STFU and complain to someone who cares. But you got me.... you're easily my favourite poster 👍 Regarding Carney's progress, it obviously easy enough for anyone to find, but here is one guy's report card; https://paulstewartii.substack.com/p/mark-carneys-first-year-as-prime-37b
  10. Huh.... nothing to do with Trump. Who the hell started this unnecessary war?
  11. Listen fool... clearly the US has a vastly superior military to Iran and could completely eliminate the country if it chose to, but won't/can't. What I'm saying and is not deniable is that Iran has found a very effective way of playing this out by putting Trump's àss on the hot seat at home and internationally. Seems to me he's scrambling again today in trying to find a way out...
  12. You clowns are hilarious... ya'll only got one mode and that's blaming fake news and everyone else for your shortcomings. Try looking inside as to why conservative MP's are crossing the aisle... Your guy is a dead man walking.
  13. Lol... keep trying, and telling yourself that you're smart. Mind over matter....
  14. Best I can see is that one person was convicted (?).... but in your feeble little mind that's all liberals right. That's what I got to say about that... CBC is far more reliable than your likeminded simpletons on X and Facebook. If Bobjob or the loose moose said it, it has to be true!!
  15. The liberals didn't need to do anything. Poilievre has clearly done a good enough job of demoralizing the Conservative base on his own.
  16. No, I am that type of person... but whatever. What are you even talking about with Iran tariffs....? But yes, the world does appear to be put off with the US for mess they've created, don't they. You obviously haven't read what I've said...
  17. You don't change or create new laws when you're appealing a court decision that would affect those laws in question, and are being litgated.
  18. Lol... got nothing do you 😂 Back to X in search of todays new conspiracy 👉
  19. Obviously you come from the @Army Guy school of bending over and doing what Trump say's rather than doing what's best for your country. We're talking about Chinese built cars here, or did you forget that in your typical cry me a river 'look whats the liberals did'. Try to stay focused... You are the prototypical simple minded far right Poilievre supporter though. Totally clueless in your little fantasy world, but always good for a laugh.. 😂
  20. The Toronto Star reported that up to 40 Conservative MP's are worried that Poilievre will cost them their seats in the next federal election. Wonder how many will cross the floor this weekend? Poilievre is a dead man walking....
  21. Not every country was handed up to 50% tariffs that shìt kicked industry sectors with lost jobs. No country has laughed about being hit with tariffs.... You're not that foolish are you? You need to find another act with that one... 'pooping' your pants and telling someone to F'off are two entirely different things. Believing what you see from random posts on X and FB tells me the only 'poop' here is your brain.
  22. Facts are not assertions.... The fact is that Iran's strategy has been very effective.
  23. The federal government appealed the courts decision last September. You don't comment and keep active dialogue going with the public while there is a legal process playing out.
  24. That's a lot of typing trying to defend the indefensible... From my comments what facts elude you... Is it Iran having the US by the short hairs right now, is it Trump scrambling daily to find an exit, is it the March inflation showing the highest YOY increase the US has seen in 2 years, is it the economic pain caused to the global economy, or is it the clear lack of strategy the US administration had? This NYT article is from one month ago today.... https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/10/us/politics/how-trump-miscalculated-iran-response.html How Trump and His Advisers Miscalculated Iran’s Response to War In the lead-up to the U.S.-Israeli attack, President Trump downplayed the risks to the energy markets as a short-term concern that should not overshadow the mission to decapitate the Iranian regime. The extent of that miscalculation was laid bare in recent days, as Iran threatened to fire at commercial oil tankers transiting the Strait of Hormuz, the strategic choke point through which all ships must pass on their way out of the Persian Gulf. In response to the Iranian threats, commercial shipping has come to a standstill in the Gulf, oil prices have spiked, and the Trump administration has scrambled to find ways to tamp down an economic crisis that has triggered higher gasoline prices for Americans. The episode is emblematic of how much Mr. Trump and his advisers misjudged how Iran would respond to a conflict that the government in Tehran sees as an existential threat. Iran has responded far more aggressively than it did during last June’s 12-day war, firing barrages of missiles and drones at U.S. military bases, cities in Arab nations across the Middle East, and on Israeli population centers. U.S. officials have had to adjust plans on the fly, from hastily ordering the evacuation of embassies to developing policy proposals to reduce gas prices. After Trump administration officials gave a closed-door briefing to lawmakers on Tuesday, Senator Christopher S. Murphy, Democrat of Connecticut, said on social media that the administration had no plan for the Strait of Hormuz and did “not know how to get it safely back open.” Inside the administration, some officials are growing pessimistic about the lack of a clear strategy to finish the war. But they have been careful not to express that directly to the president, who has repeatedly declared that the military operation is a complete success. So yeah.... clearly misjudged and not well planned.
