  1. Be sure to take off your Red hat if you want to cross the border. You'll be flagged for sure and will have a tough time passing the new aptitude test. Now that Trump wants to massively increase military spending and is asking for $1.5T you'll be struggling to find the funding to deport all those people anyway. In theory you could have all those Somalian's living in your neighbourhood real soon....
  2. Correct, unarmed but not civilian operated. The personnel are part of the DND...meaning it's operated by the military. No different than the US, with the exception of being armed, at this point.
  3. It retains its civilian responsibilities but takes on a new role in the security and surveillance. The direct line of reporting is to the Minister of National Defence.
  4. Not true.... procurement and planning are happening right now with construction beginning in 2028. Halifax is a 50 year project, meaning the expansion and upgrading happening today will continue through to then. The port of Montreal has completed it's studies and is set to begin dredging and dock expansions next year. It's not an apples to apples comparison looking at our food costs compared to say Japan's. It's more of a direct comparison to look at our cost escalation compared to the US, which we are similar/same to. We also had a significant FX difference back then versus now with a lower dollar that impacts our costs noticeably.
  5. The transition into the military was done to increase our maritime security, which is directly tied into a specific role in our National Defence.
  6. Yes it is, and does report to the Minister of National Defence. The Coast Guard was officially transitioned into the Dept of Defence on Sept 2/25. and is now part of our military. Any dollars spent in this department are included towards our military spend.
  7. You continually use the same schtick in your ongoing pissing matches with anyone 'left', and always have to use an emoji with a tongue hanging out (for whatever the reason). Does that count as repetitive behaviour?
  8. I'm guessing it was the word 'transition' that you didn't pick up on? Any sort of immediate abandonment of fossil fuels was not and is not practical. We, and more so you have through this countless times with everyone. The facts and data are easy to find. Go fetch... I'm sure your parents have said the same thing...
  9. The Coast Guard was moved to the Department of Defense last year, and is part of our military. You always need to listen to the accountants and they were adamant that the spend be accounted for in the military ledger, despite your extensive list of qualifications and objections.
  10. Damn right I would.... and I'd pay a lot to see it. TDS... not me. You...?
  11. First things first.... We're in the process of closing our southern border to idiocy and rift raft. Maga's need not apply 👉 We'll talk about Somalian's when the time comes.
  12. There was never an abandonment or even talk of abandoning fossil fuels. That is not practical, or realistic. You can wonder as much as you like but the unequivocal fact is that climate change is a direct result of the fossil fuels we use to power our industries, vehicles, planes, etc, etc... You mention China, who is still a developing country using a lot of conventional forms of energy, but is also the clear global leader in transitioning to clean energy solutions of solar and wind power. The global investment in clean energy last year was $2.2 trillion which doubles the investment in conventional energy. That alone tells you which way the world is going, but here we are sitting next door to an administration that cares little for the environment ,and a portion of our country who's only idea of success is a pipeline. That's not forward thinking... We should be alarmed.... The world is still going to be here long after after we're gone, but I'd like to think that mankind is smart enough to do it's best to see that the world is still around for those that come long after us. Part of that responsibility is eliminating, or significantly reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. My 2 cents... I see you have comprehension challenges again....
  13. Nah, you'll leave them be to keep your economy sustainable.
  14. You're a joke... What didn't you understand?
  15. Yes, I read your made up BS which is why I asked you to cite the sources. I know the source...picked out of your àss Sorry to shame you. Hope we can still be friends 👫 😂
  16. Let's recap... You follow similar minded minions on X and Facebook and only gravitate to what you want to hear, at the expense of facts. You pull untruths out of your àss to keep your screwed up way of thinking moving forward, and now you're saying I or similar minded are fuquing stupid... Lol.... you are so stunned! 😂 No way can you find this type of entertainment value in too many places. Priceless!
  17. You're the absolute last person that should be talking intellect.... Again... show me where he said that. While you're at it, show me where Rousseau said he was being pressure into biofuels and feared his reputation being ruined if he didn't go along. I'll be waiting... 😂
  18. You just have a tough time accepting that Smith is happy about this MOU, and that she believes Carney is working with Alberta, and not against it like Trudeau seemed to be when it came to oil.
  19. So, you got nothing and just pulled it out of your àss. Too funny! BTW, that was obvious...
  20. If you paid attention, which we know you don't, you'd have realized the comment wasn't about Carney, it was about port expansions. But, you don't pay attention...
  21. Yes, you posted your usual bûllshït.... Show me otherwise, stunned one.
  22. Lol... does she have conference calls with Albertans only to voice her displeasure? I'll assume then that the Calgary Herald, Edmonton Sun, Energy Now, and any other media source that can print a person's words are subsidiaries of CBC.... Try reading... Your little world of media is following similar fools on X and Facebook because they say what you want to hear.
  23. Great comeback... 👍 It's not blowing off steam, it's a low tolerance for people who are lazy and/or act stupid. You fall into this category with your inability to think outside your comfort zone of conspiracies, the laziness you have in looking for facts, and your obvious need to pull untruths out of your áss to fit your story. Lol... show me what 'facts' I've disregarded. I've shown you a few of yours just in this short time I've been there today. Your serve... 😂
  24. Food prices escalated 24% during his term. That's not a lie, it's fact. We also had a different world with different costs and different dollar a decade plus ago. It's difficult for you to deal with facts isn't it....
